Have always really liked Panasonic brands of microwaves, telephones, etc. This is no different. Performance is outstanding, as is appearance and ease of use. Also purchased protection plan ... just in case. :)

Sleek design and excellent cooking power. I've only had it for a few weeks so I still need to learn and test out the more sophisticated features. Simple heating works just fine. Cooking vegetables works fine. Defrosting my breakfast sausages works better using the Inverter technology compared to my previous microwave oven. Softening the butter stick in my corn on the cob butterer by setting the power level to P2 also works better than in my previous microwave oven.

I am still in the learning stage of this new type of cooking and am happy with everything I have done with it. Have overcooked more things than I had hoped to but have had great success with most. One thing it did was to make me buy some microwave cookware and I am extremely happy with this advantage that I am now using. I really just needed a new one as mine was relatively inexpensive and old so since I was buying it I decided to try something new and the price was lower than any other I saw with this new feature.. The fact is --I am 95 years old and have difficulty with any of this new technology. I also live alone and have no young folks in my family to help me figure out technical problems, So, I recommend it 100% for people who are mostly young and tech. savvy unless you are curious and want to do what you can to keep up with this wonderful world and what the heck it only cost a little bit more and you can do as I often do , just use it like the old fashioned one. model.

What a great little appliance! Light-weight yet sturdy superb quality runs like a dream quite, easy to operate, and clean! Am β€œSo” satisfied with this product πŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

After many years our old Panasonic took a dump. I was a little leery on buying off amazon for a product like this, but it turned out great! Works just like the old one we had, but better. The door is very quite which is great, and the buttons are loud enough to hear!

Nothing could be better than this inverter technology microwave. In case you don't know what that is, when you set a power level, the power level is the same ALL DURING COOKING !! Without this feature, if you select 50% power level, 100% power is applied 50% of the time and so on for other power levels so food item doesn't have a consistent amount of heating applied to it. Non-inverter microwaves overheat the food and them let them cool down so you don't get a steady amount cooking energy applied.

I wouldnt recommend this for a small countertop, it is a bit noisy but the watts on this microwave is amazing. You mostly likely will cut your heating time as I've noticed. You WILL need to cook your food in intervals (i.e. if your are doing 1 min. I would do 30 secs then another 30 sec) as the microwave is so strong it will heat the outside and sides of foods quicker than center if not mixed.

I really like this microwave. I tend to over research everything and after agonizing for hours this one came out on top. We needed a new microwave as our old one was about 9 years old. I wanted to make sure our new microwave would have room enough to heat up my neck wrap and booties. These are both rice filled and our old microwave was way too small and heated them unevenly. This new one is perfect! It has a large turntable and still takes up about the same counter space as our old one. It's also very light for its size. My six year old can operate it no problem so it's fairly intuitive. The light comes on when you open the door and the touchpad is easy to use. It also looks very sleek. The front surface is extremely reflective so it does pickup fingerprints easily. I wouldn't say it's quiet but it's not noticeably noisy. Very happy with this choice.

I bought this recently to replace an old Sharp microwave that we had for over a decade. It is larger inside, yet overall smaller outside which is better for our limited counter space in our small apt kitchen. The extra power takes some getting used to, but once you realize how much better and faster and more evenly this microwave cooks and defrosts, you'll adjust nicely to its use. It has many presets that are very useful for a large variety of foods which takes the guesswork out of figuring out how much time to set, as it uses a humidity sensor to detect when the food is done. I have had no issues with seeing the keypad, as others have stated, and the sheen of the exterior i find to be beautiful and easy to maintain, with a quick wipe down. We are very happy with our purchase, as Panasonic has always been a trustworthy manufacturer that makes reliable and rugged products, and this microwave is no exception.

Just received this microwave yesterday so I cannot really say how long it will last. After reading countless reviews, we decided to get Panasonic brand again based on our experience with our former microwave which was also a Panasonic purchased in August 2008. It still runs, we never experienced any problems with it and the only reason we decided to get a new one was because we just had our kitchen remodeled and are transitioning to stainless steel appliances. Our former microwave was 1.6 cu ft. We decided to get a smaller one since we use it mostly for reheating leftovers or microwaveable items. Some reviews mentioned problems with the lack of light inside, wifi interference, etc. This microwave has a light that comes on when you open the door and while the food is being cooked and so did our former one. I have not noticed any wifi interference. The door latch seems to work very well, no problems with the keypad. We noticed the microwave moved a bit when we opened the door, so we put a non skid mat under it and that solved the problem. This is called stainless steel, but actually the case is more of a silvery grey non shiny color. The door latch and the bottom of the door are a shinier metal which may be stainless steel. The window on the door is more of a black mirrored finish which will probably require a bit more care to keep clean and smear free.It looks great on our counter and if it works as well as our former one, we will be happy.
