BOUGHT THIS AS A GIFT FOR A FRIEND, I KNOW SHE IS GOING TO LOVE IT, SHE HAS BEEN LOOKING FOR A SET OF MARACAS, AND THESE ARE VERY SIMILAR TO THE ONES SHE HAD BEFORE. BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU!

Beautiful, hand-painted wood. Not so loud for home recording and acoustic accompaniment. I could have got the larger and much LOUDER ABS maracas by LP but this is exactly what I was looking for. It might be nice to eventually have both loud and soft. Someone called them “baby rattles”. They are not small, just quieter. They suit my needs for recording with Native American flute perfectly. Louder ones could be good for drum circles or stage.

Good quality. The paint looks great. The palm trees are painted on both maracas. These are professional size. I gave these to a friend for her birthday and she loved them.

This was a gift for my husband, and he has really enjoyed them . My rating is based on his reaction. He used them almost daily.

These are great, nice and sturdy. My daughter was pretty attached to some cheaply made maracas that I had previously purchased and they broke quickly. I got these as a replacement and they have held up great so far. Very well made!

Very well made product. The painted artwork looks nice. These are for my grandson to play when he listens to music. He loves snapping his fingers to music so he will really love these. I tried them out while listening to Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass and they sounded just like the meracas they used in their songs.

These maracas have the sound I've been looking for; organic, subtle, and suggestive of a rain forest. I bought a pair of well constructed plastic ones because the seller promised they would have a professional sound. I liked them but they were so loud I couldn't hear the music I wanted to accompany.. If you are interested in percussive sounds, you probably need a pair for the day someone asks you to play back-up on a stage and a soft pair to practice at home where you won't drive anyone crazy and you can hear yourself in relationship to the music. My only wish is that there was small ridge where the handle meets the gourd shape because that helps to keep your hands in the right position.

They work Great and look good!!!

They are well made, I would say, adult shakers and likely will last a lifetime. Came on time. Good for chanting.

My husband said he always wanted some maracas so I got these for his birthday and he loved them. No issues.
