Good for academic conferences! --From a grad student

I bought this poster tube for an upcoming conference since the poster dimensions were larger than the typical 36" x 48" and thus needed an expandable tube that could a) handle various poster dimensions, and b) travel well. Luckily this tube seems to do both. I've looked at a lot of other poster tubes on Amazon, and a lot of people complain that their poster tube becomes flimsy when it is expanded or that it doesn't stay expanded and ends up crushing their poster when they're carrying it because the interlock unlocks on it's own. Granted I've only had this poster tube for less than a month, but this product seems sturdy enough for travel and the interlock appears pretty good/stiff. Fingers crossed that it continues to stay this way =) Hope this helps other to make a decision!

Perfect for taking home posters from shows or festivals! I got the white so I could see it in a dark venue. Everyone is always jealous that I thought ahead! ... A little dorky but worth preserving a musical memory :)

Going to an Expo or Con? You might need this.

Bought this to bring a poster I made to a convention. This was very nice, secure, and can extend even more for bigger posters. I was even able to put other posters I bought at the convention in the the tube. I would recommend to anyone that goes to expos or conentions to secure your posters.

satisfied purchase

I bought the tube for a poster with 48*48 inches size, and I need to extend it to the longest length. The material is firm and reliable. Just one disadvantage is the shoulder strap is not long enough for the 48 inch long, you can only hold it in hand rather than carry it on your back. But overall it is a satisfied purchase.

Great travel case

I needed something sturdy to hold some conference posters (36" x 48") and traveling by plane. This worked perfectly. It even managed an overhead bin on the flight with lots of other luggage and turbulence. It's light-weight, so easy to add to your carry-on. Flexible size makes it accommodating for your size needs. Overall, awesome for travel or other storage needs. Definitely recommend.

Exactly the product we needed. As a poster collector our biggest issue was always how to protect our new souvenir. This is the perfect solution.
