Best baby monitor!

We ordered this for our second baby since we loved the first one so much. This camera allows our families to check in and see the kids even though they live out of state. I can check in on my kids when I am out of town on a business trip and I am able to talk to them on it as well. You can play songs for them, talk to them, listen to them, take videos and pictures. It even tells you the temperature and how the air quality is in the room. If I’m making dinner in the kitchen I can watch and listen to my child playing in her room without worry. When we finally hooked up our second camera, when baby #2 came along, I noticed that the night vision wasn’t working. I contacted ibaby and they sent me a brand new camera and the customer service was terrific! My new camera works perfectly and I couldn’t be happier that I now have 2 of these cameras in our house. I recommend this monitor to all soon to be and new moms!

After 3 months of using this monitor, I'm very happy with it.

After using this monitor for 3 months to keep an eye on my 95yo mom at night, I'm very happy with it. It helps to give me peace of mind without having to get out of bed to check on her. The video is clear and I can remotely pan the room by swiping the screen on my iPhone & zoom in and out by just pinching my fingers. This is the 1st video monitor I've used so I can't make a comparison to others. Regarding the audio: it will pick up her voice or even loud noises from another room. However, there is a huge amount of static - even during the day when the room is empty and it's perfectly quiet. If there is a setting to quiet the static, I have not found it.

Working great

I've had this since April 2017, using daily in our son's bedroom since July of 2017. I found setup to be a breeze, and have never had any issues on the iPhone app - which we have used on multiple phones and iPads. The wifi connection was really important when Mom went back to work, she loved checking up on him during naps. More recently, we send it with our son if he's staying a few days at Grandpa's house, and setup onto his wifi has also been easy and quick. Video quality is great, although we did switch it to stay on nighttime mode because it was a little annoying when it switched back and forth to color due to clouds darkening the room during nap time. I've had nothing but easy and reliable functionality with my iBaby M6S and the app! Highly recommended!

Great little gizmo with simple setup

Our Dlink wifi camera fell off the network last week and I cannot reconnect so we bought this and a (refurbished) Amazon Cloud Cam to compare. We started with this camera and never even took the Cloud Cam out of the box because this system is perfect for our needs. The iBaby Premium Baby Monitor has some additional features over our previous Dlink and the setup was fast and simple. The unit movement is very quiet, has a great picture, and even has music and books (on the iBaby Care app) that you can play through the speaker. The camera is on the top of a shelf on the opposite wall of the crib and I was surprised it could be tilted at such an extreme downward angle. The camera does not have a zoom, but you can zoom in using the app. We have it set for 1080p so the picture is so clear we can see our daughter breathing. Night vision works great, too. We get about 300 Mbps wifi signal in the nursery. My only complaint is that every time I open the app I have to deny or agree to push notifications. I setup my wife's iPhone to agree and she does not get the notification popup. There was no issue seeing up the app on two iPhones and an older iPad mini using the just created account.

High tech baby monitor that exceeds nearly all of your baby monitoring needs.

I did a ton of research on baby monitors over the last few months. I had a couple of key items that were important: Great video, two way audio and as much coverage via pan and scan functionality. The iBaby M6S hit all of those and more. So far it's spectacular. Pros: The video quality is off the charts in both day and night or variations in light quality. Two way audio is also quite good. One nice surprise was the amount of sounds you can play through the monitor. The white noise choices are great, and the types of ambient sounds are both nice in quality and variety. Also nice are the temperature, humidity and air quality sensors. This camera replaces several other gadgets that are no where near necessary, but interesting to have nonetheless. The camera has a great field of view, and with the ability to scan and zoom via the app you can cover the entire room. Setup was complete in less than 10 minutes. Cons: The app is somewhat sluggish, but definitely works. Connecting from a distant site (from my office around 15 miles from home) results in a moderate delay in camera view. But this is super nit picky as I'm watching what's going on in my house from 15 miles away in near real time - 1st world problems. The other complaint is that the system alerts that you can configure via the app are so sensitive that they're worthless. The only alert I kept was the temperature alert. Sound and motion went off even at the least sensitive setting at even the slightest blip. That was kind of frustrating. Overall this is a superb camera with excellent video quality and lots of bells and whistles.

Great for your nursery!

Great camera. Could be better if the manual stated how to make users in the phone.. you should make one user and then invite people to join (we created a few users and it got stuck). The quality of the picture is good enough and the rotation angle of the camera is very comfortable. It has a very sleek and nice design.. it is white so it kind of disappears in the wall of your nursery. The option to talk and play music to the baby is awesome and the sound is great.

Not perfect but well worth it IMO

The Monitor works great for us. We have been using it for 6 months now. Every once in a while the app needs to be restarted but beyond that it works as expected. No issues with WIFI. I do use top of the line equipment so that may help. The app has issues. Songs named wrong, picture freezes sometimes when running in the background. If running on the main screen we have never had an issue. Picture is good. Hopefully they get the app working a little better. We do not use notifications. I would still recommend this to anyone. Mom loves to check on the baby when she is not home which is a great feature.

Can control camera from app on phone

My husband and I LOVE this! The picture is really good. I can see our baby breathing, which is what I wanted. There are few moments when I can’t see her breathing, but there is a zoom in option that allows me to see things I can’t see from the zoomed out version. We bought two and easily added it to the app. It allows you to label each camera what ever you want (ie: Room, Playroom, living room). There is an option to see it slightly zoomed in and an option to see the whole area that the camera is capturing. You can move the camera around from the app, play music, listen in, speak through the microphone, or even record. I’m extremely happy with our purchase.

Works for Much More than a Baby Monitor - Peace of Mind in All Directions

I ordered this monitor several months ago, so we've had it for a bit. The first thing you notice is the packaging. The packaging is fantastic. It's very secure and it arrives in a very stylish, trendy box that's cube shaped and sturdy. This is iPhone level packaging and presentation. Compared to some of the other monitors we looked at and tried, I was very impressed. In fact, I saved the box in case we needed to store it and so it would have a safe place when we moved. We had no trouble with set up at all. It latched right onto our wifi with no difficulty. The 1080 video quality does not come as the default. You'll need to adjust the settings. After that it is very clear. I love the fact that we can use it with our phone. That's why we got it in the first place. Carrying around an extra device seemed like a tedious concept when we already had the phones with us. Plus, I can tune in and use the mic and speaker to talk to my husband when I'm not home and vice versa when one of us is out and the other is home with the baby. We've done that several times. We did have trouble once while he was out of state because of poor signal quality on the phone's end, but other than that it's been wonderful. The base that you see under the monitor has little teeth to hold it, but a magnet the keeps it secure also. We don't use the music much, but it's a nice feature and doesn't sound obnoxious like some baby gear does. We can also use our own music if we need to and I expect that will be useful in the future as our little guy gets older. An unexpected benefit also came from the camera when we were gone for two weeks on vacation. I set the camera up in the main room of the house and it allowed me to keep an eye on everything. When I felt anxious or homesick, I'd just open the app, look around the house through the monitor, and know that all was safe and well. The night vision made it work no matter what time of day I felt nervous. I'm definitely glad this is the monitor we settled on when we were trying to choose. UPDATE: I am really appreciating the air quality monitor that lets me see the temperature and VOC that let's me know how the air quality is doing. The night vision is awesome. It works really well and very clearly. Keep in mind when using the unit that it won't be as effective if you have a bad internet connection (or lack of one). If you want to check in on baby and grandmama while you're at work and the internet is down, you won't be able to. Likewise, a poor connection is going to give you spotty, if any, coverage.
