More than expected

I was simply looking for an average audio system to replace the one damaged by rain. The Boss Audio System was more than I expected. It is powering 8 speakers in a pontoon. Plenty of sound! Plus it is on a boat the power and speaker plugs are easy to unplug and take inside in case of rain.

Great value so far!

So far so good! Just installed it last night and all works and sounds good. I have it hooked to a cheap Vibe 1000w amp and 4 Lanzer 6x9's. The Bluetooth is working great! It connects to my phone as soon as I turn it on and I have not experienced the short reception issue like some of the reviewers. I had my phone in my pocket this morning and walked to my neighbors trailer, the music in the boat that is parked under my awning never faltered. It fit ok in the Pyle weather proof stereo mount, was just a little bit loose. I had no issue getting it all installed nice and tight. If it lasts a couple years it is an amazing value. If it fails I will update. Pros: It is shorter than an average CD player and light weight which makes mounting easier. Controls and Bluetooth easy to operate I never opened the guide or instructions. Bluetooth makes changing music and volume easy from the drivers seat using smartphone. Price! Cons: feels light and cheap. Harness plugs feel cheap and do not snap in tight.

Great Replacement Radion in my 1991 Four Winns Runabout

With a little modification to original face plate in my boat, this radio installed easily using the supplied bracing strap and following the wiring diagram. I added an external fiberglass antenna. I have very good reception of both AM and FM stations. The ability to set the equalizer to my tastes and conditions is a big plus, as is the remote control. I plan to use it primarily as a radio and not to use other features available, so I cannot comment on them. I am very satisfied with price and performance for my needs.
