Bought this to add to my plug-in single Ikea light for a room that does not have a fixture in the ceiling. adding LED lights it works great and within the max of the light fixture. love that the lights can swivel to fit the shade we picked and because this is in a craft room so specific lighting is sometimes needed.

Lightweight and works perfectly. I used this adapter to create a swag chandelier. It converts the single swag socket to a three way socket with LED light bulbs. The adjustable arms are firm yet easy to move.

Such a great idea and product. After owning one of these for about a week, I ordered another. I replaced the incandescent bulb in my walk-in closet with this and have paired it with 3 of the Philips 458653 60 Watt Equivalent Dimmable B12 Decorative Candle LED Light Bulb With Warm Glow Effect, 4-Pack .This works perfect for me. My closet tends to run pretty hot during the summer and the last thing I wanted was a bulb that adds to the heat. With those Philips bulbs I added the link to, I have crystal clear white light that shines brighter, lasts longer, doesn't get hot, and I can direct the light as needed. Such a simple product and with the candelabra led bulbs it really looks nice. I have 2 incandescent light fixtures in my detached 1-car garage. My second one is going in there to help brighten up the area so much better. This is a great product and at a great price as well. So far it has exceeded all my expectations.

Had an old recessed can light in my bathroom. No way to see to put makeup on. Narrow can didn't allow larger bulb replacement because too deep to screw in. Estimate of $300 for electrician & new fixture. Thanks to Amazon I found this plus a porcelain bulb extender. Total cost of both items less than $14. Total time to make fix by me - 5 minutes. Now my bathroom is filled with light and my wallet isn't lighter.

It was smaller than I had in mind and the arms are cheap plastic so don't torc on them hard but what a cheap and easy solution to that dim old incandecent single bulb we had!

I combined this with a motion detector and LED bulbs in my garage to create a TON more light in my garage. Now every time I walk into the garage, it lights up super bright and auto turns off after a few minutes of no motion. I connected this in my garage to a 3-way bulb splitter, three different places in my garage. It works fantastic. Now I keep my light switches always turned on in the garage and anytime someone walks in, it lights up the 3 LED light bulbs, automatically shutting them off after a few minutes of no motion. This is the motion dector product I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QKS4Z4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And these are the LED bulbs I chose: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CAL1EMY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Installed in a ceiling fan, single bulb, fixture (normally enclosed in a 6" globe) in my wife's sewing room, This three bulb adapter allowed me to increase the available light in the room from 75 watts (using a 15 watt spiral florescent bulb) to 180 watts using three 60 watt (10 watt rated) equivalent "daylight" LED bulbs. The difference in brightness and increased visibility is remarkable. She who must be obeyed is most pleased. A minor drawback is the inability to enclose the lamps but the ventilation of the LEDs is paramount. The power savings is significant in comparison to the watts consumed by the equivalent incandescent bulbs.

Better looking than my 1 uncovered bare bulb while providing excellent light. Better than I expected! I installed at the top of my basement stairs. I didn't want to stand on a ladder (fear of falling, tiny 4x4 foot landing) while installing a new wired lighting fixture; or dropping glass globe. This product installed as quick and simple as installing a light bulb! No electrical or mechanical knowledge required. To make it easier, I installed the bulbs before installing into the ceiling outlet. Additionally, I used 50 watt floodlight style bulbs which added some style. So much better than my prior 1 light bulb cheapo ugly fixture.

I bought several of these to replace single bulb fixtures in a dark basement. They spanned the range of 3, 4, and 5 socket models. Essentially, the lighting level went from a single 100 watt incandescent to 180, 240, and 300 watt equivalents (using 60-watt equivalent LED's). These are sturdily constructed and can be re-positioned to a "flat" configuration so the bulbs are close to the ceiling rather that hanging down. It is my impression that these are designed to be installed and then left alone. While they pretty solid, they do not appear to be designed for constant flexing, although they can be adjusted if you observe their limits of motion and don't just yank on them. I'm going to buy some more for some other dim location.

Love this thing. I have multiple fluorescent tube lights in my garage, and a single fixture wired to a switch by the door into my house. Not wanting to turn on the florescent fixtures every day when walking to or from the car, I screwed this adapter into a motion sensor that screws into the fixture. I'm using three LED bulbs that come on and off automatically when motion is detected. It's working really well and lights-up the garage much better than the single bulb used to.
