Pretty easy to install, came with a huge variety of bolts to attach to the TV with. It seems like my Vizio soundbar has very widely placed holes, so even using the longer extension bars, I could only get one bolt in each of the lower parts, and they're sort of haphazardly crossed between, but the bar doesn't move at all unless I move it. The picture shows what I'm calling the lower bars, because I have my sound bar over the TV instead of under vertically, with the shorter extension bars attached (the angled bits) and the longer ones below. The extensions are one or the other, you can't use both together, without some extra bolts and nuts, at least. The joints between the two have a ridged circle that the wingnut screws through to hold the angles you set. The bars are a rough gray paint that seems sturdy enough. Didn't show any scratches when I dropped the bars (Trying to handle two mounting brackets, a 40" soundbar, a screwdriver and the various attachy bits all at once). Been happy with it, more so than my last one, where the bars were considerably shorter and non .adjustable,

Great product -- but you may need to be creative. I bought this to mount a Vizio 36" (SB3651) soundbar to a Vizio E-55 TV. For the TV mount, I used a full motion mount from Harbor Freight, but very similar to the Mounting Dream MD2296 TV Wall Mount found on Amazon. The mounting holes on the soundbar were very far apart, which at first seemed to be a problem. Had I followed the MD5420 instructions as shown, I would have had to use the TV mount's crossbars, which would have required using a lot of spacers and shims. Not good. Instead, I reversed the soundbar mount from what was shown in the instructions (short piece vertical -- see pictures), and it worked perfectly, greatly simplifying the whole installation of both the TV and the soundbar. Simple is good!

After purchasing a new sound bar system, I was trying to figure out the best way to set it up. I was considering buying a new TV stand with a TV mount built in until I realized that these things existed. This was so much easier and less expensive than getting a new stand or mounting the TV on the wall. I've never been a huge fan of wall mounted TV's anyway. Install took maybe 15 minutes. Fortunately, I had the screws still in my TV from the factory because I don't think the ones that came with the mount worked. They seemed to be a bit too long. Would definitely recommend this item and purchase again!

So I just used this to mount a sonos playbar to the back of a Sony 65 inch tv, fortunately there were holes in the back of tv, where the tv stand screwed in that I used instead of the vesa holes where the tv wall bracket hooks are screwed in. I though customer had Sonos bracket but he didnt. Is used the 2 nut& screw plus a small metal washer I had to bottom of bracket to playbay, tighten the preexisting nut & bolt that connect the two pieces on bracket to the point where it is still frexeble but not enough for playbar to pull bracket downward because of gravity, then screw top of bracket into holes on the back of tv., see picture. Customer was happy with installation. I asso installed it on a 49 inch samsung with a mount it single arm tv bracket, this time customer had the sonsos bracket for plabar so I attached it to playbay bracket then put it under a tv bracket, added a small washer at the top of tv bracket hooks to balance out the space difference at the bottom bottom of hook caused by this bracket, pictures shows before & after pics

I am very impressed with this Mounting Dream line of TV brackets. It's the second piece I've bought that I've bought from them. (I bought their mounting arm for my 55" TV, also excellent and the best value for money that I found anywhere.) Because I wanted to mount my 45" soundbar so that it would move with the TV, I chose mount it at the top of the screen. Mounting Dream's very helpful customer service department helped me get it set up perfectly! One further recommendation for Mounting Dream products: they include every conceivable metric screw, washer or bushing that you might need. I've never seen such a well organized variety of fasteners included with any product. You could easily spend $30 down at your local hardware on the equivalent parts!!

I have my Samsung 50" TV mounted on the wall with a VidoSecu Mount and this Mounting Dream Soundbar TV Mount goes underneath the VideoSecu TV mount. The Yamaha soundbar has keyholes and this soundbar mount comes with the proper hardware to mount to a keyhole soundbar; it's also listed in the instructions. I forgot to take a picture of the back before I mounted it but you can see from my pics that the soundbar sits just under the TV so this turned out great. Just make sure that the attachment to the soundbar from the mount is tightened because I had to remove the TV to change something and one side of the soundbar came loose but the other side was tight and it made it difficult to remove while one side was hanging. Overall good mount and worked great for my configuration.

This is a high-quality kit. Much, much nicer than I thought I'd get for this price. The steel is pretty thick; I think the 22-pound soundbar weight limit is pretty conservative. All the various mounting holes and slots, along with the longer arm pieces make this a very flexible kit. Add a few of your own nuts/bolts and you can adapt this kit to mount pretty much anything out there. I bought this to attach a Sharp HT-SB602 sounbar to my 70" Sharp TV. The wall mounting brackets that come with the soundbar had no way to attach them to these brackets, so I drilled a hole in each soundbar bracket and bolted the two together with 1/4" bolts/nuts/washers. Then, to attach these brackets to the TV, I used the mounting holes where the TVs stand would go. I had to put threaded inserts into the TV stand mounting holes, but easy enough to do. Bottom line is that these are the only soundbar brackets you need to buy. They are strong, provide a ton of mounting options and they are cheap. Perfect combination.

After my first purchase to install my soundbar directly below my mounted TV, I was completely IMPRESSED. I couldn't believe the amount of different kinds of bolts, washers, etc. that came with this to mount to your TV and to mount to your speaker. Let's just say I did not need to run over to Home Depot because I was not provided with the right fixtures for my specific TV and sound bar combination. As a result, I purchased 2 more of these exact sound bar brackets after a GREAT experience with my first purchase of this! Great product, reasonably priced, it'll clean up your TV setup and most importantly, this kit is complete without needing to thoroughly check the mounts on your TV and soundbar!

This is a great product and quite universal with 2 sizes of extending arms or the ability to use just the standard arm. The issue I have is that I have samsung hw-k850 and if you've seen this, it's a beast at 16lbs. The mounts say they hold up to 22lbs but once this thing was mounted to the tv, IT SAGGED. I was afraid to leave it mounted. I need a tv mount with bottom support. I had to return it. The section that secures with the wingnuts and teeth is very sturdy. Just not sure why the mount looks so much more secure on the wall than on this mount. I'd recommend it on a soundbar weighing less than 10lbs

I used this to mount a Yamaha soundbar to a 43" LG tv. It worked and looks pretty good. It helped with the sound bar itself with sound as the Yamaha soundbar the speakers were pointed upward when just sitting on the stand. With these mounts now the soundbar speakers are forward facing towards you. As far as mounting to the sound bar, you need to be creative a bit. The instructions itself help a bit but really not very informative. Issue I had for a minute was actually how the brackets mounted to the sound bar directly. Nothing in directions said anything about this as the only thing on sound bar fpr mointing were the slots for a wall mount. After a bit of sifting through the array of hardware I found two little things with threads inside (like a bolt). I assessed size and they fit the wall mounting holes on back of sound bar. With the assistance of a hammer and a few light taps I got them pressed into back of sound bar. I was then able to bolt the sound bar onto the brackets. Nothong in the instructions said to do this but I assume it is needed to be done. You can adjust the mounts and bar pretty easily, but i took the easy road. I just ensured the angle of brackets were the same coming of the tv. Then i just bolted the sound bar onto brackets with the full extension on the selected slot that allows a lot of height adjustment. Doing this ensured thr bar was level to the tv and centered from edge to edge. I do have about a 1" gap from the tv to the soundbar but it was easier this way than measuring a lot for a flush look. And it really doesn't look bad either, just a small gap. Overall a easy setup once i uaed them bolt looking things and tapped into the back of the sound bar. As far as weight, these brackets are pretty heavy for the size of them. I was surprised by that. I am sure that they would jave no problem holding the 20'ish pounds as stated. The Yamaha bar I have is pretty heavy as it has a subwoofer included. These brackets have no issue holding the bar and the brackets nor have they flexed or bent when i mounted them. Just take a few minutes and use the spacers included with the hardware. Be creative and these brackets work great. If you cannot find a way to bolt onto the sound bar itself, find them threaded bolts with little teeth on the outside and see if they will fit into your wall mounting holes. Probaly will and go from there.
