I used it to clean and dress a wound on my foot. The doctor advised against using a cotton swab lest some cotton might get into the wound. I couldn't find anything locally that met the criteria so I ordered these via Amazon. Very happy with the results. No infection whatsoever.

I use these swabs in my art studio. They're perfect for canvas cleaning jobs and detailing. I also use them on my cameras. I have yet to find anything like these in any store, so these are much appreciated!

They do not stand up to as much abuse as a cotton swab, but these are for more delicate tasks where it is important to not leave fibers behind.

Great for cleaning when a little pressure and scrubbing is required, they are flexible enough to let you apply just the right amount of force.

Now, I'm not going to name the particular brand of swabs that we all use for our guns, the ones that, when we discovered them, were a godsend compared to the patches we had been using like cavemen. These are the same thing. They hold up to solvents, can be swirled around in mineral spirits and re-used, and are ASTRONOMICALLY cheaper. I only use these, and, being a gunsmith, I use them a LOT. I have them in a variety of sizes, though I haven't tried them all. But rest assured, if your application for these is gun maintenance/cleaning, grab em. you won't be disappointed.

i like these swabs - they are pricey, but don't leave lint like those swabs you stick in your ears or up your nose these last me about 25 cleaning sessions after hitting the range, most likely because i like wheelguns, which have numerous nooks and crannies... i don't find that these swab disintegrate like other reviewers, most likely because i use a clp and don't apply too much pressure... but these are good and just another part of the toolbox hint: if you want to save on cleaning, try a bore snake, or if you're old-school, use shotgun bulk synthetic patches - works for all calibers

Great for cleaning tight nooks and crannies and does not leave and lint like regular q-tips does....use for pistol cleaning and works great!

Use for laptop repair in situations calling for lint-free cleaning. Works well and resusable. There are enough in the pack to last several years.

Incredibly effective cleaning both pistols and rifles. Much cheaper than identical swabs marketed for firearm cleaning. Not really reusable, but they're cheap enough that a bag will last through dozens of cleanings.

These work very well for cleaning handguns. There small but its does the job cleaning my Beretta 92FS. Leaves no lint and absorbs alot of grim and great for all the hard to reach spots. If you like swabits brand these work for pistols just as good as swabits but at a much cheaper price.
