Really pretty, nice weight to it. I purchased this as an art reference and it's been amazing for that. I do not use this for actual practical application however, so I can't speak on if it works for that or not. But as a reference or a set piece, it's perfect.

Well built sextant (as a decorations)

Brought this as a gift to my son who just love all things about the 17th century pirate sail ship.... Very well built brass sextant. It's pretty small (smaller than my palm) but has everything a real sextant has. Basically it's functional but with such a small thing it's not possible to get any meanful measurement. But hey, it's only $25 and this makes it a perfect decorations add to my son's ship models. I am pretty satisfy with this little thing. Recommend for anyone who loves great sea adventure!
