I love these drinking straw brushstyle cleaners

I love these drinking straw brushstyle cleaners. I was waiting for these with a straw that had developed a nasty colored deposit from only water in the straw. I went immediately, squirted some dish soap on the brush and used it to clean the straw. The deposit was immediately gone! I rinsed it and now can enjoy this straw in my drinking cup again! The brush is not scratchy or harsh at all. The tip is covered with a "plastic" drop so is soft if it comes in contact with your hand when using it! Highly reccommend these brushes. If I was picky one or two could be longer so they would reach through the longer drink straws with one pass but no problem to insert it in both ends of straw really! Love them!

A Good Hygiene Investment

Have you ever wondered how to clean the inside of the straw that comes with so many of those insulated drinking glasses. Look no further. These brushes work great. We have had our set for a couple of months now and they are holding up very well and they are cheap. A set of four should last you for years. We even gave some of ours away after friends saw how awesome (and easy) of a job that they did when cleaning out the inside of a straw. For that matter, they could be used for many cleaning applications.

GREAT FOR TUMBLERS!

These straw cleaners are great! I get 4, so I can have replacements or even share with friends. The construction is perfect width for tumbler straws, and the wiring/strength of the core is sturdy enough to insert easily down the straw without difficulty. The little circular handle at the end is great for grip and twisting to get gunk off the straw walls. The only thing I may want improved is the cleaner length. The straw cleaner is just long enough to clean halfway down the tumbler straw, so I'd have to clean from both ends to clean the full length of the entire tumbler straw. It is doable but slightly inconvenient. If that would be an issue, look for a longer cleaner.

It's a straw cleaner

Do your kids love to have smoothies in those fancy starbucks cups? When their done, do they wash them out? Thoroughly? If like mine, you find the cups in their room or all over the house, and their fuzzy inside from mold growing in the cup. Yuck! Toss a $20 cup, oh heck no. Nothing a healthy dose of hot water, soap and a good bottle brush can't solve. These brushes are perfect for cleaning out the crud left in the straws. No need to senselessly harm sea turtles and use disposable straws. No need to quit using the stickered-up, expensive hydro-flask because they put juice in there and forgot it. Get these brushes to clean the small corners of those bottles, straws and even sippy cups to avoid having to throw them away.

Easy to use and economical

Great set of brushes! I'm still using the first brush out of the bag and it's been a few weeks. The brush still holds up. Bristles are stiff and do the job. Well-designed. The length is long enough to get through most straws. Easy to use. No rusting so far. One thing that is great about this set is that it's just straw brushes! I've found it difficult to find straw brushes that doesn't include other brushes that I don't need (bottle nipple brushes, valve brushes, etc). I will definitely buy again once we go through all the brushes though it may be a while.

The brushes were packed in an easy-to-open plastic bag which was a good size (not too big nor too small). The brushes are well-made with bristles firmly attached. I especially like the bead at the end so the tip won't scratch surfaces or poke holes. These brushes are perfect to get into drinking straws, funnel necks, any small tube or cylinder. I highly recommend them.

Exactly what I needed!

These straw brushes are great. The handles are sturdy, they won't bend when you use them. The bristles are plentiful and do the job. I was a bit surprised, and a bit grossed out, just how much the brush cleaned out. They are long enough that the whole straw gets cleaned when attacked from both ends. Great product, plus you get 8 of them. Will buy again when they all disappear into the black hole that is my kitchen drawer.

Solution to dirty straws and plastic lines.

One of those products that you never really think of until you're doing dishes, and a reusable straw that had a smoothie in it is really dirty inside. How do you clean the inside of the straw? Well, for once, I stopped doing dishes went on amazon, and put it on my wish list for later. Later came, and I bought it. I've used it a few times now, and it's pretty surprising what you'll find inside the straws you might use in a reusable cup (starbucks tumblers, etc).

Perfect for cleaning my wife's flexible

I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of these brushes. Perfect for cleaning my wife's flexible, plastic drinking straws. Cleaning these reusable straws has always been difficult because of the ridges across their length (that allow them to flex). I've used cotton swabs, pipe cleaners, wads of tissue on a skewer, and bleach with varying degrees of success. This task is now quick and easy, and the brushes look to be very well made. I hope they are as durable as they appear. Well worth the very reasonable price. Five stars all day long.

Ideal Complement for Yeti & Ozark Insulated Drink Products

These A+ quality products are perfect for use with my insulated drink holders with straws. They give me the assurance that weeks/months/years of using the straws will be clean, stay sanitary, and remain mold/gunk free! The straw cleaner even removed some questionable stains in one of my sports drink's ribbed straws. I am confident that I can use and safely clean the straws -- especially the ones left overnight in car or gym bag. I have re-ordered more to give to family and friends!!
