I bought this cage (the XL size) for 2 female Guinea Pigs. I really like it! Pretty much the same size as the Midwest guinea pig cage that everyone recommends but a nice solid bottom (easy to clean and won't get nasty like a canvas bottom) and sturdier construction (which I wanted since I have cats). I prefer aspen shavings to fleece and the high sides keep the bedding and hay nicely contained. I have the platform set up in the middle of the cage instead of to one end so my girls can hide under it but can also race around the whole peremiter of the cage like a race track (which they love to do). I've no issues with the water bottle leaking. I had even bought a pricier one before getting this cage after reading reviews and that's the one that leaks! Since the front of the cage fully opens I have a pet playpen with fleece on the floor attached to the front and just open it up to give them more floor space to play when I'm home watching them. Just give them a little ramp to get in and out. Putting the cage together was fairly easy. Just don't be scared to use some force to get things to snap into place. Cons: while this cage is big enough for 2 female Guinea Pigs it would not be enough room for 2 males without the addition. However - they do sell an addition or you could make one. My cage did come with a small crack where the grey section hooks into the burgundy. I suspect this happened from the way the delivery guy tossed it on my porch. Thankfully it was just cosmetic and in no way impacts the use of the cage. The box it is delivered in could have been sturdier.

This is a great cage for guinea pigs! I wish I could fit a larger cage but I live in a small apartment in NYC and rent is too high ahaha. I looked for hours trying to find the perfect cage and I am so happy I got this. The color is very attractive, and plastic cages are easy to clean (dump all the bedding and scrub!!) Initially, I ordered the Midwest cage, the green one with the canvas bottom but I canceled my order after reading how difficult upkeep was. I don't have a washing machine in my home so doing fleece isn't an option. I wanted to put a coroplast bottom on the canvas cage but my nearby home depot doesn't have any in stock ahaha and I don't have a car....So yea this cage was honestly the best I could get for my pigs. Setting up was ok, it was weird putting in the side because they have to click...Or they won't be even and it'll seem like they sent you wrong parts! So yes you definitely need some muscle to set this cage up. The top part of the cage is definitely a little weak because it's so large, but I don't mind, I'm not putting very heavy things on it anyway. I hope this review helps; obviously if you can use a bigger cage for your pigs then please do!!! Also, consider buying a fence so you can set up a safety perimeter to give them some floor time! **by the way, this cage comes with a water bottle (small) and a hay rack (also pretty small). There are stairs but they are at a 90 degree angle lol so the pigs can't use it anyway, my pigs know how to jump up to the platform. And if anyone is wondering, I have two boys. Goofy is ~1.5 years old and Coco is still young, we don't know how young exactly, but he's definitely less than 6 months.

Much much bigger than expected! I have to wonder if others who complained that it’s ‘flimsy’ got the same product as I did. It is very sturdy and the door hinges and clips are sturdy. Yes it takes a while to find how things should line up when assembling but (hint) look at the pictures and then persevere .. it is big enough for a litter tray. My base is burgundy which seems to look nicer than the beige ones. The front panel is white and the rest is black which is odd .. but really not a big deal. The little clip which connects the ramp to the shelf snapped as I connected the two pieces .. and I need to reach out to their customer service dept .. but until I do I’ll still give this a good rating unless the part can’t be replaced. But the bunny seems to love it and manages to hop on the shelf by himself and enjoys hiding under it too

This is our first time ever having bunnies! I did a lot of searching for cages that would give them enough room, a lot of them where very small for a high price I finally came across this cage and the size sounded about right, and the fact that I can purchase an extension when they grow more was perfect! I ordered the Jumbo cage, when it arrived I was very surprised at how big it actually is! It’s very simple to put together (my ten year old put the entire thing together, I did help checking to make sure he clicked things into place securely.) It’s a very sturdy cage the doors on the front make it very easy to let the bunnies out and roam around but still let them be able to hop back in and eat as well as use the litter box. The top door makes it very easy to just grab a bunny without letting the other escape. I am so happy I went with this cage and look forward to getting the extension! I highly recommend this cage! Pros - Sturdy we’ll built - Doors make easy access - The accessories it comes with are great quality - Has the option to add extension - The spacing in the bars are perfect size so my bunnies can’t squeeze out Cons - I haven’t found any at the moment.. ***UPDATE 3/5/19*** I have just recently purchased the hut extension for my wabbit cage! I love it and the rabbits absolutely loved it when I added it on. I will say that it wasn’t as easy as I would of liked to put together, I assume they were supposed to have pre drilled holes so I could simple screw it all together. I had to bring out the drill because I couldn’t get some of the screws in by hand without them going in wrong there were marks but no pre drilled holes. After I used the drill it all came together very easily and I got it attached to the xl cage very quickly! I highly recommend getting the extension if you have to keep your bunnies or any other animals in the cage for long periods of time throughout the day. It gives them a safe place and a lot of extra room. We plan on getting the wire extension next for the other end. I absolutely love that I am able to add on to this cage instead of buy a whole new one!

I got this cage so my 1 1/2 y/o male Abyssinian can have a new baby companion. In the year I’ve had my boy I’ve had him in now 3 different cages and since you learn as you go, ive learned that this cage is the easiest to clean and also the colors just happen to match my living-room. I set it up in a breeze (just watch the video) and put him in it and he’s a happy little popcorning dude. Saving his old cage for the new buddy as I intend to use it to let them become acquainted in side-by-side cages before I put them both together in this beautifully thought out/laid out piggy cage. I got the largest size and its big enough for three or four piggies. He loves this cage as much as I do! One tiny complaint I can tell you I have is that the floor of the cage and also the floor surface of the shelf are gridded rather than smooth which does make cleaning day a tad bit harder as the stuff you’re trying to remove from the cage floor gets stuck in all the little grates whereas if the surface was smooth you’d be able to make clean scrapes to pick up the messes rather than have to pick out 1/4” divots across the whole surface or just take it outside and hose it down. But I still think it’s the best cage I’ve owned so far!

We've picked up four rabbits in the past two years. Three cages came from pet stores, one local ($90) and two national ($110 and $299 on sale) This was BY FAR the easiest cage to put together and the biggest (height, length and width). It has the best accessories and is the easiest to clean, and it's only $60!?! It also keeps all the litter, food and hay in. I just can't say enough about this wonderful cage! This is as close to perfect as it gets. We 're actually replacing all the cages with this or the XL Wabbitat (with and without hutches and extensions).

I have the Living World Xtra Large Deluxe cage and this cage. They are exactly the same size, in terms of square inches on the bottom. The Living World cage was much more expensive, and I’m annoyed that I didn’t just get two Wabbitat cages instead. The Wabbitat has the same platform, dish, and water bottle. I also like that the front can be folded up to change litter pans or to let he rabbit hop in and out freely. The Living World one doesn’t have this, much to my disappointment. Get this one, instead.

I got this the day after i ordered it and was so excited! When i got my pig they had such a small cage for him it was unbearable to see him in it and he had so much energy for being 6 months old but now a year and four months he now has this huge one to play in. Before i even put some bedding in there he was popcorning all over. It was easy to build and simple instructions. It feels very sturdy and soon ill even buy the attachment to give him more space :) all of his toys arent in there yet though (he had an accident) but overall i love this cage and so happy i bought it!

Assembly was easy, except the first step where you attach the white side pieces, took A LOT of pushing to get them lined up correctly. Our little rabbit seems to really like it, he uses the elevated area a lot and has plenty of room 'downstairs' as well. Very easy for us to open the cage, too, which is greatl Our rabbit is about 10" long when just sitting there and this is a good size for him offering sufficient room to move around.

I really like this product. It seems to be well made and it comes in the larger size that I was looking for. My guinea pig has so much space now. When putting together the habitat, you may have some difficulty locking the side pieces into place. At first, I thought that one of my panels was defective, but after applying more force with locking it into place, it all fit together easily. This product assembles quickly. The only issue I have right now is my poor guinea pig is too tubby to climb the stairs to his food bowl. Maybe this is a hint for a diet plan. So, I just relocated the food bowl and he is doing just fine. He enjoys the "house" portion and all of the room to run around. I would purchase this item again and I would recommend it to others. Also, should you have any questions regarding assembly, their customer service team is very nice and quick to respond.
