Solid tent, held up well at the beach for a week
We used this tent for a solid week...every day, 12 hours a day, on a very windy beach. While others' umbrellas and tents blew away, this tent held strong and stayed in place. It was easiest to put up with 4 people, but worked with 2 as well. I think the air vents helped and the silver color reflected the hot SC sun nicely, we were shaded and cool under the tent canopy.

Very sturdy, built well.
I just bought this to replace a coleman canopy of the same size that I lost in a violent thunderstorm, in fact, you can see the remnants of it in the background of the photo. Just set up this Core canopy and I'm very impressed. Set up and take down is a breeze, did it with two people but you can do it alone. The first thing you'll notice is that this thing is built well, it's very sturdy. We used it last night during the rain and a little wind, kept the rain out and withstood the wind. You will not be dissatisfied with this canopy. I'll update and time goes on. Hopefully this will last a few years as my Coleman did. Update: While I have used it in the rain with good results, very heavy rain changed that. A lot of water came through on our second time using it in a heavy rainstorm. I still stand by the 5 stars as I never expected to be fully water proof, but figured i'd mention it.

Best and Most Reliable Canopy for Sale on Amazon
This canopy was awesome!!! Easy to set up and survived a severe thunderstorm that had 60 mph wind gusts and torrential downpours of rain. When I say torrential downpours I mean 3 inches of rain fell in less than an hour. If you guy this out properly and drive stakes through the holes in the legs you should have no issues. I did not even try the super short stakes that came with the canopy due to the fact that I'm not a total idiot. I bought 10" stakes that you can find here SE 9NRC20 Galvanized Non-Rust Tent Peg Stakes with Green Stopper, Pack of 20 as I did not want to have to worry about my canopy becoming someone else's campsite trash. I set it up by myself from bag to fully staked and guyed out in less than 20 minutes. The tear down was just as quick and everything fit right back into the included roller bag without bulging. If you don't believe me when I say severe thunderstorms please take a look at the screenshot of the radar image I took from my radar app on my phone. Don't believe the reviews below that said this canopy broke or blew away with just "A little bit of rain" as this thing took a damn beating and didn't move an inch. Also, don't try heavy bags to hold it down. If you stake it properly and guy line it out the way you are supposed to there will be no issues to worry about.

Love it!!
I love this canopy!! Easy to set up and take down. I do it myself. I'm in my late 50's and recently started doing vendor shows. I had to have a 10x10 canopy. My husband works 6 days a week and is unable to help me. So the key was to find one that I could set up and take down all by myself!! This is so easy and fast! I even purchased 4 wall panels and weight bags too! I tell everyone I talk to how great this canopy is. Only 1 drawback!! It only comes in light gray. I have to rent a canopy when I do really big shows because they require white only canapies!!

Great Canopy
I've owned a couple other Pop-Up Canopies before the CORE unit: An original EZ-Up and a cheapo knockoff. The knock off lasted a single weekend and sucked. The EZ-Up was decent and lasted a good summer. It could have lasted longer until someone unfamiliar with the take-down process, bent it up. (Yes, I'm still upset about it) Now I was looking for something BETTER and was willing to pay more. I asked around and was pointed at this CORE Canopy. I received it the day before our family outing to the desert so I had no time to trial erect it. Without any help from me, my family read the instructions erected this thing for the first time in about 20 minutes. No problems what so ever. As it approached noon, I sat under the canopy as the temperature reached >95°F. We had a slight breeze and I noticed that the top vents even functioned (i.e. lifted up and down with the air movement). It shaded well and so far so good. At the end of the day, I helped with the take-down. The oversized buttons worked great and even allowed my 12 year old daughter to release the corners and collapse the legs. In the past, pushing the little springy buttons pinched fingers and broke nails. Not this time. The collapsing frame and joints were beefy enough to fold up without warping. The wheeled carry bag was reinforced and had compression straps at the lift points. It felt robust and I had no concerns that the carry bag was going to tear during loading into the back of my SUV. Admittedly, the whole unit is heavier than others I've had but the wheels worked great so I barely noticed. Truth is that I'd expect better quality to also be a bit heavier. For the record, I paid $150 with free shipping from Prime. This is a Sale price but it is the same as anyone else that is going to buy one now. So here's my bottom line. I love this canopy and would buy it again. Actually, I would even do it again at full price ($180).

It was easy to set up the Pop Up with one person ...
It was easy to set up the Pop Up with one person took about 5 min. Appears to have lots of good thought to it, lots of velcro straps and joint protection. The only suggestion to the manufacturer is to add middle velcro straps to the center spreader between each leg to add more tension and support so you don't get that water droop in the middle eave like so many others do. See photos attached. Lastly, you do get 8 stakes but I haven't had much luck with these type- would recommend that the manufacturer upgrade to stakes that allow you to tie off on a stake head vs this type. This type of stake tends to bend, not punch through even small rocks, and will rotate easily if the soil is loose or you don't have it hammered all the way into the ground. At the very least recommend buyers upgrade to a more stable stake with line tension. Overall though it looks like a good stable Pop Up with added features to help you and to make it stable.

Thoughtful design and quality construction
Have previously had two cheaper versions of 10x10 popups. All of the annoyances I had with those prior popups have been resolved by Core, resulting in a popup that's easy to set up, easy to take down and store, and that provides a cool, comfortable and well-ventilated shelter. Here are the noteworthy features: - Starting with the bag: very sturdy, full length zipper, secondary zipper that allows the unit to be compressed after the bag is closed, plus two compression straps that further reduce the size plus take the stress off of the zippers while stored - The canopy and leg adjustment spring loaded pins have plastic housings and buttons around them--no more bruised thumbs from pushing the end of a metal pin - Fabric attaches to frame with wrap-around velcro tabs on the corners--takes seconds to attach. Secondary attachment points with associated strain reliefs on horizontal frame members and roof peak frame members. Fabric at peak reinforced also. - Well-designed vent. Vent held open with semi-rigid (think foam rubber covered in nylon fabric) posts that compress for packing but hold the vents open. Vents also have mesh in them so no bugs/debris falling into center of tent - Fabric is sturdy and seems to be fairly reflective--tent is comfy in direct sun and no heat buildup under peak - Reinforced tie-out points come with cords and tensioner fittings - Fabric has good dropdown over eaves and then is taken down legs with reinforcing tensioning straps that attach to posts--seems to do a good job of relieving stress at the corner, which is where the fabric on these things seems to fail - good options on adjusting height of tent--I use this to shelter my smoker when the weather gets bad and I can lower the canopy and get the stakes out if a blow comes up. Smoke from the smoker goes up and out the vents with no problems. - No problems storing this with the fabric on (make sure it's dry): drop the canopy, push legs together and turn upside down. Fit bottom of bag around feet and wrap bag around assembly. Flip upgright, zip the main zipper, squeeze, zip compression zipper, clip and tension compression straps. Took less than 3 minutes the first time. Negatives: the stakes are pretty minimal. I grabbed a set of 10 of those red Y-shaped aluminum tent stakes for about $8.

This one doesn't leak!
I used my new Core canopy on a stormy 4 day camping trip last week. It rained 8-10 inches during the trip. The canopy did not leak a drop. No bellying of water around the edges/lower rails like other (cheaper) canopies I've had. Stable in the high winds with the guy ropes supplied. This one is worth the extra cost. It made the time sitting around camp much more enjoyable. Excellent product!

Beach BBQ's, No Problem!
Our family has struggled to find a sturdy 10x10 tent that can withstand offshore winds in Hawaii for BBQ's. After going through tents from Costco, Sports Authority, and Walmart - through various brands, we settled on this "Core" brand tent (never heard of it before). We're glad we did. Not only has it withstood an entire year (12+ times) of usage - where our Costco tent broke in 4 times, it still feels like new; the easy (no pinch) locks, the top, the bag. We're happy with our purchase and even if it broke, would happily purchase it again. Make no mistake, it was more expensive than any of the tents we've previously owned and thought about it (a lot) before purchasing it, and are glad we did. Icing on the cake, they shipped it free w/Prime to Hawaii; albeit, likely not a concern to most Prime members. Highly recommend the 30lb weights if using on the beach, or in wind gusts 20mpg+. P.S., easy to setup; though 4 people are obviously easier, my wife and I were able to setup in 5 minutes.

Rock Solid Canopy
First impressions: this thing is solidly built. The materials appear to be very high quality both with the metal frame and the canopy itself. Some 10'x10' canopies aren't truly 100 square feet but this sucker is big. I was little nervous because there was only one other review offered at the time of purchase. Sadly so many canopies are flimsy and I wanted something that will last. I only pulled the trigger because by all accounts CORE seems to make a top notch product. Setup is definitely a TWO PERSON JOB and so far we've only got it done in as quick as 12 minutes (not the 2 minutes as advertised). Personally, I don't mind the extra effort if this canopy works and works WELL. We live in FL and go to the beach often. I'll report back in a few weeks with an update on how well it's holding up. Good luck canopy shoppers! Update 06/04/2016: I've now used this thing 3 times on the beach and once on a pool deck. I can honestly say that this is a truly excellent canopy. Time will tell if it'll last but so far so good. Everyone that sees it up close remarks how well built it looks. The one additional comment that I have is that lugging the canopy bag is going to require some muscle. It has wheels so it's slick to roll on the sidewalk but going through sand is going to take a little work. Personally, I just threw the bag on my shoulder. It's not super heavy but it's far from lightweight. At the end of the day, I'd much rather have the heft than something weak that'll fall apart. This one is rock solid!
