I loved how it turned out

I purchased this to do for my terminally ill husband and myself. I loved how it turned out. It is beautiful. The directions were easy to follow and I am so happy that I have this keepsake after my husband passes.

Better than we expected!

The molding process was a little difficult, but that's our own fault (we let some of the liquid mold between our hands so our hands were fused together inside the bucket lol). I was nervous that it wasn't going to come out well because we were a little rough getting our hands out of the mold, but we carried on and it came out amazingly. The detail is so fine my husband's small scar on his hand is visible, along with every wrinkle and crease and it is amazing. Highly recommended!

Great Product...follow instructions

This is as easy as it comes, follow the instructions and you are golden. Practice the pose/position you will target ahead of any mixture and if dealing with young kids as I did, ensure they are seated comfortable. Those with kids know that trying to keep a kid still for 2 mins is a hearty challenge. Note: If doing multiple hands ensure the clasp is tight as I had to spend additional time getting the mold out the minute crevices that results from my kinds not holding their hands tightly together.

This is a great product. Easy-to-follow instructions. They recommend having an additional person to dictate instructions and/or give a helping hand. My wife and I casted our hands, and we found that we didn't need any help.

Unique and Personal Keepsake

I have been wanting to do this forever but had no clue where to start. Then I came across the Luna Bean kit. This is seriously one of the most exciting mementos I have made yet. The casting was done of my daughter and two grandsons. I am in total love with it. I only wish I knew about this when my mother was still with us. The process itself is not hard. Read then read again the instructions. Watch a utube video. That will help put the process in perspective. I highly recommend the kit to anyone that wants to create a unique keepsake or gift for someone. You are actually casting a special moment in time. Defienetly going to do this again. I made a sign for my big sister for Christmas using her little girl’s hand (4) and her little boy’s feet (8mo). I cannot freakin wait for her to open this up tomorrow!!! The feet are a little imperfect because he was wiggly but the rest is gold! Secured the hand and feet to the wood plank with gorilla glue epoxy.

It's the best memento anyone can have

I ordered it for my dear friend who was at the end- of life care and her husband. It's the best memento anyone can have. I ordered another one with a same day delivery- i want to do it with her son also, hopefully it'll come before it's too late. I'll definitely buy more for friends and family! PLease don't hesitate in getting this product- you'll never regret it. it's easy to use and instructions are very clear.

Awesome

It came out so nice I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. The details are so sharp. It was a little messy but fun to do. You need to do this in a timely manner especially when mixing the first part for the mold, once it starts turning from violet to pink and then to pale pink things move quickly but it's doable. Mixing the plaster is easy once you pull your hands out lol. The mold is good for 24 hours if covered and put in fridge if you don't have time right after to do it. Peeling off the rubbery mold was easy but something that should be done carefully. I spray painted it after it dried.

Keepsake dear to my heart!

I bought several of these for Christmas gifts this year for my family. We helped my Mom and Dad do theirs tonight, and it turned out better than we had ever hoped for! The detail this cast gives is amazing. All of us were really stunned at how lifelike and even the smallest detail was captured. I cannot wait to do the casting of mine and my husbands! The directions for use were very easy and simple to follow. I don’t think we could have messed this up. Highly recommend this keepsake! My mom said it was the best present she has ever received.

My dad is home on hospice and my mom wanted this to cast their hands. She tried it the first time and it set up before they could do the mold. The instructions say to mix in a bowl and then transfer it to the bucket where the hands are inserted. We found mixing the product right in the bucket was better. After watching some Youtube videos and reading some more we contacted the company and they quickly responded sending us a new bag of molding mixture to try again and gave us suggestions for success. We used distilled water at room temperature and that seemed to help slow the transformation during mixing allowing my parents enough time to get in place. We made sure to remove the miscellaneous pieces before pouring the casting product in. After mixing it, we poured only enough in to coat the mold by turning the bucket sideways and rolling it then we added more, tapped the bucket to bring the bubbles to the surface and repeated until it was topped off. We filled to the rim of the bucket which created a flat level platform for the hands to stand with stability. After removing the molding from around the cast, we made sure to put a small fan on it for several days. We are happy with the detail of the results and service from the company and would recommend the product to others.
