I bought one set to try before I bought my second set. Parts looked high quality and the hardware was better than the brakes I removed. Worked very well. Huge bang for your buck. Now my car trailer has 4 brakes. Very happy.

Fit perfect. Inexpensive considering how heavy the box is and it's shipped from China. I can't understand why anyone would replace just the magnet or shoe when you can bolt on a complete backing plate like this so cheaply.

Great product

These brakes replaced a pair of 12X2 standard 5 bolt Dexter 023-105-00 (LH) and 023-106-00 (RH) brakes. I needed to replace all 4 brakes on my tandem axle 5th wheel. I wanted to start it right away and not wait for an online order so I found a pair at a local trailer parts store for $86 each. I got them and replaced the brakes on the front and began looking for another pair online. The next closest pair were $59 each side then I saw these. For $65 you get BOTH? Not Dexter by name anyway but worth a shot. So I installed 2 Dexter last weekend and these yesterday so I can do a legitimate side by side and I tell you there is virtually no difference. Same quality of materials and build, same heft, same brake pad thickness and texture, same connection, same everything. For $65 a pair I figured there would be at least some inferiority to the Brand name and there was none. Installed them, spliced the wires, adjusted them then did a check with the break away brake which locked them up perfectly and a check hooked to the truck with the trailer off the ground and it worked just like the Dexter brakes on the axle in front of it. I am tempted to go ahead and buy 2 more pairs and keep them in the shop for the next brake change in a few years. I am mad I wasn't patient and ordered 2 sets here to begin with because I ended up paying $180 for the front axle and $65 for the rear.
