Good strain relief for making drop ceiling light figures.

I used these with brown lampshade cord and a ceramic socket to make drop ceiling light fixtures for some grow lights. I made a hanger to put over some buckets that I grow seedlings to transplant into my garden. Using these in combination with the items described below made for quick and inexpensive drop ceiling light figures (~$6 all together).

These sure do relieve the strain on the gland

These are great, the do exactly what they were supposed to do. They were a little difficult to get over the wire I had which had a fabric cover, but I made it work and these things work great. I tested them by pulling pretty much as hard as I could and they held their ground. I don’t know what I’ll do with the other 44 of them, but it isn’t like I spent $1000 on them, so I can stash them away or throw them out or play poker with them or whatever I would like, I suppose.
