These have been wonderful in keeping odors at bay in our shoe closet, especially with a teen in our midst. We just make a habit of putting them in our shoes as soon as we take them off. Great way to remove odors

I bought these to remove new car smell. I put all 12 bags in the car and within two days the new car smell was gone. Also, I smoke in my car. Periodically I put a couple bags in the car to get rid of the smoke smell. It only takes overnight for the smell to be gone (I had a non-smoker with a wonder nose smell the car and she smelled nothing). If you leave these bags in a small area for too long you will smell charcoal and that can be overwhelming. That just tells you how well they work.

These fit in my bowling shoes very well and keeps them dry inside.

I bought these to keep my bowling shoes dry after I put them back into my bowling bag. Usually they will have a musty smell as the moisture is trapped inside my shoes and bag. Hopefully they will keep nice and dry with no musty smell. I like the 100 gram size as these are pretty thick and fits like a log inside my shoes. This 12 pack will go a long way and I think I am going to give some away to my friends to keep their shoe dry too. The material used is good quality as well as the sewing. The Jalousie label also adds a nice touch which makes it not look generic. I rate this large bamboo 100 gram charcoal bag as 5 STARS!

These are fantastic, they do exactly as they say.

First off, don't expect a miracle. If your shoes already have a real bad smell, chances are, they are already overly saturated with bacteria/fungi that needs to be taken care of first before using these. May I suggest using tea tree sprays or any other antifungal/antiseptic type of product in your shoes, and only after tossing the shoes in the wash or giving them a good scrubdown? Although, I am reading some reviews from people who have immediately stuck them in very smelly shoes and still noticed an odor elimination, so really, whatever works for you. Personally, if your shoe odor is really that far gone, I would rather burn the shoes to finally free them from the demons that had possessed them, and start over again with a new pair. Me, personally, I would prefer to smell nothing in my shoes, or just the shoe smell itself, as in, never having been occupied by a single toe, lol. And so before I stuck them in, I used a shoe odor eliminator spray in my shoes and let them dry out beforehand. I use them everyday in my work boots to keep any mildew and other moisture-related smells at bay. Mind you, I store my boots in a plastic bag to avoid any dust or creatures crawling in them while I'm away (I leave my boots at work), so moisture was DEFINITELY getting trapped in my shoes. Now, when I come into work the next day, my boots are dry and completely devoid of any smell. Based on the usage of my boots, which is daily, walking / on my feet all day, I figured I would recharge them every week to keep it highly effective. However, I'd been slacking and completely forgot about it until I only just began to smell a very minor odor from my boots again, about 3 weeks later. So yeah, these can last a good deal before another recharge. I also use a pair in my backpack, as I tend to throw in all kinds of things that carry mild/moderate odors -- lunch, sweaty socks/shirts, dirty work pants, etc. With these hanging out at the bottom of my bag, odor does not linger. My nose is ever grateful.

They're like magic. GREAT value for the price

I have a dog (and one I sit for often) in my 950 sq ft apartment. No matter how much I vacuum and sweep up the hair, the smell would still linger. These things have been a godsend. I can tell the difference dramatically and also in the kitchen when I cook something with a strong smell or fry something. great value for the price

They really work!!!

If you have ever had a lingering smell in your car... this should take care of it! I drive for UBER and these come in so handy! These help to absorb perfume, natural scented oils, body odor, strong perfume scents, food smell and etc. People always complement me on how my car doesn’t have any smell. I air my car out between rides but these really help!!! I love that the sun reactivates them and that they are good for about two years!!! I tell people about them all the time! Great product and all natural! Which is so good to use when driving a lot of people around. Not having to worry about someone not liking any air fresheners or scents they may give off.

It actually works...yes, I'm as surprised as you are.

I'm gonna level with y'all. I bought these purely out of curiosity. I had incredibly low expectations. I though this whole "bamboo charcoal" thing was a bunch of BS. I'm happy to say. I was totally wrong. This actually works. If you put them in your shoes, for example, overnight, you can actually smell the difference (and 24+ hours just improves the performance). So there you go, a simple, reusable, product that actually works. It surprised me.

These are AMAZING! I had several pairs of sneakers and slip ons that had the worst odor, and after sticking these in them for a day, the smell went away completely. I love that it's a natural way to deodorize without having to use any kind of spray or even worse, chemicals. Loved that it came in a pack of 12 - such a great value vs. buying just a single set. I also keep a couple in my car to help keep any odors away.

even climbing shoes can't keep their stink!

these actually work, and are the perfect size to stuff in shoes with no concerns of leaking charcoal. Even my stinky climbing shoes have been tamed!! My running shoes were no match! I stuck the extras in a closet that has always smelled faintly of cat urine and the odor disappeared! Buy a lot!

These size bags are great and versatile

These size bags are great and versatile. I use it mostly for workout shoes and keep one or two in my luggage when I travel for my gym clothes. Lately, I used these bags to deodorize a refrigerator that had been off for the last couple months with good success. Kept it in for about a week and odors have been gone. The bags stink of course now but cleared up with being exposed to the sun for a couple hours.
