Great blender for the price
This is the best blender for my Bullet Proof Coffee. I had to find a blender that accommodates hot liquids for the coffee I drink. I add Brain Octane Oil and Organic Ghee Butter to my Bullet Proof coffee which needs to be blended. Perfect froth and blending. The plastic container that comes with this is over 20 oz. which prevents a 20 oz drink from splattering over the sides. Love the ease of disconnecting the lower portion to clean. Very powerful.

Best under 200 dollar immersion blender
This is *better* than the next best (reasonably priced) immersion blender (the Breville) and costs a bit more than half what the Breville does. I've owned both. My first Braun lasted me 10 years, my first Breville lasted 5, the "others" that I've owned turned to junk in less than a year. I give the blender itself high reviews, the carafe ...like all the carafes that come with immersion blenders...sucks...you might as well throw it away now. Instead of the carafe I use a 50 oz stainless steel milk frothing pitcher...this works, doesn't spill and cleans up nicely whatever I'm making (pesto, garlic/olive oil/parmesan puree, smoothies, hummus). The whisk attachment is great for whipped cream or egg whites. I've owned the more expensive Brauns and the weak point is the plastic drive gear...if the more expensive units had metal instead of plastic drive gear, I'd buy those...but they don't...and the extra power is not needed (but the 350 watts this puts out makes a BIG difference over 200 watt immersion blenders for thick stuff).

The Magic Kitchen Tool - love it in stainless steel and black
Love this blender - it makes preparing soups a breeze. I had an earlier iteration of the Braun hand blender that was white plastic and this is definitely an upgrade in terms of how well the stainless steel part washes and how powerful it is. I also have a Vitamix but I find a hand blender indispensable!

this is a GREAT item. I did a lot of research
Well, this is a GREAT item. I did a lot of research, and thought this was the best for the money with the amount of power. I am using it to blend protein powder into homemade coconut yogurt. Smooth and wonderful. Lots of power, easy to clean. High enough to make sure it can handle soups in large pots. Great item. Just bought one for my daughter I loved it so much.

Great product!
All I wanted was an immersion blender by itself. I already have a small food processor and a Nutribullet, so I didn't need a blender to come with all these fancy gadgets and attachments. I just needed something that would blend hot food so I could make soup! (Because ladling hot hot hot liquid into my small food processor or nutribullet made absolutely no sense to me). This was the only brand of immersion blender that was priced well, got decent reviews, and didn't come with a load of extras that I didn't need. I used this immediately after I received it to make potato leek soup and I am very happy with my purchase.

Great power, chops up ice for a wonderful smoothie!
I bought this to replace my Cuisinart hand mixer that stopped working after 2 years. I have LOVED this new Braun mixer. I use it every day to make a health drink and I love how it completely chops the ice and mixes every bit, but it is SO EASY to clean. I haven't tried it for margaritas but I am sure it would be awesome. For years we used a Magic Bullet for our daily drinks (we make 2, one for me and one for my husband) and it was such a pain to clean and we had to replace the gaskets, etc. Now, I just rinse off the metal shaft and hand dry it. Nothing could be easier! I used it to make cauliflower soup with bacon the other night and it was a breeze. I started with the slower speed since I was trying to chop up whole pieces of bacon, then went to the faster speed to finally chop and mix the soup. I even added chunks of cheese and it all got blended so well. Also to note, it is not very loud, at least compared to the magic bullet.

Great product for small hands
Great product for small hands. Easy to use with hands even with a little arthritis developing. This is our second Braun. Tried a Cuisinart, but had to come back to this one as it is much easier to operate with just one hand, leaving the other hand to hold the bowl or cup. Machine is nice looking and well built. Also easy to clean and take apart. We are happy with it.

Easy Peasy Blending
After reading countless reviews of multiple products, I finally landed on the Braun and glad I did. First, the attachments click into place rather than screwing in. So, they are secure and the two push button release is easy to use, even for weak hands. Second, it is powerful. It beats egg whites quickly with the whisk. I used the blade to coarsely puree soup in the pot. It is ideal for that task. No more need for pouring portions of soup into the processor. I had that soup to the desired texture in a few moments. It feels quite substantial. It is so easy to use and clean that I can see it becoming my go to appliance.

Replaced a Bosch, what a difference!
This Braun Multiquick 5 is replacing a beloved Bosch Mixxo that after 8 years of service simply wasn't working as well as it should... well I'm glad to say I should have upgraded sooner! The Braun Multiquick 5 is heads and shoulders above the Bosch, even when it was new. The massive 350 watts powers through everything, even ice, with ease. Does a great job making smoothies without the hassle of dragging out the blender. The anti-splash design of the blender head actually works. No more having to make sure you have it completely submerged before or during blending. Just go at it and watch it devour everything you throw at it. Attaching and detaching the different heads is much easier than the older Bosch. The noise level is fine. It's quieter than 99% of handheld mixers by a long shot. I haven't had a use or need to whisk anything, so I can't comment on how well it whips things. Since it is corded I no longer have to worry about keeping it charged (huge plus!). Hot or cold, it works great and well worth the price tag. Made in Poland (see attached picture) and the quality shows! Couldn't be happier with this immersion blender.

Just perfect for pureing food.
This blender is great. I use it everyday to puree food for my daughter with special needs. I think it will last longer than the last one I owned. I can't remember the brand but this one is more powerful and a bit easier to clean.
