Flash works great with my Sony gear

Finally no more AAA batteries. Flash works great with my Sony gear. May buy another one. I use the Godox X1 trigger and I have never run out of battery on the flash. Recycles super fast too. Check out the Youtube videos on this one.

My go to speedlights

If you are a Godox user, this speedlight will be an excelent addition to your gear. I own three of the V860iis and I have used them in multiple photo shoots with out failures. Missed fires will ocur when your focusing is off. When using an xpro trigger, make sure you keep it at least a foot away from your speedlight.

I love this flash for my a6000

I love this flash for my a6000. It’s easily beats my old speed lights I’ve had in the past. I shoot profesional skateboarders and I would highly recommend this system and triggers for off camera flash

Excellent Speed light!

I can't get the battery to run out! It seems to last forever. The reachable Li-on Battery that comes with this flash is so much better than AA Batteries. It's been my go to for events. I shoot full time so its important for me that my gear works and doesn't crap out on me. This speed light is very reliable. Sometimes if I shoot too many shots too quickly I need to wait for it to cool down. No biggy. I own 2! I can also adjust this pumping the ISO and decreasing the flash output. This flash renders excellent colors especially when bouncing off the walls for a softer light effect on the subjects. I use this flash alongside the Godox X Pro-S Trigger. Together these are unbeatable for the price. I just love the results. I compared this to other flash systems and for the money this has been the best bang for the buck. My go to modifier is a 36'' Rapidbox by Westcott when shooting wireless. I touch up my photos using Adobe Lightroom for colors, and Adobe Photoshop for skin. I have the R2 Trigger by Flashpoint as well. I like the Godox Trigger better. It's much easier to use and the screen is more legible. I can just click on the button associated with the Letter. It's a much better system than its predecessor.

All is cracked up to be..

I've only used this a few times on some jobs and it preforms very well. I'm using it on my Sony a7riii bodies. I'm not sure I'm seeing what I get in the EVF. I may have read something about the TTL mode not providing a true rendering with these bodies but as an event photographer the battery is all it's cracked up to be. Recycle times are 1-2 seconds. It's heavier than my last flash but not too bad even with a heavy 24-70 G Master lens. Not having to swap out AA batteries often or wear a pack on one's hip is wonderful. I have yet to use it manually and will report back!

fast and powerful rechargeable speedlight

I have been using this light for over a year now. It works flawlessly in all scenarios. I have now replaced all my name brand flashes with Godox products and have zero regrets. The li-on battery has enough to last me through a whole event or wedding. It also works great in a softbox in the studio. The recycle times are better than my previous AA powered speedlights. And no more messing around with all those batteries! I have read people having problems with a plastic shoe, but I have multiple of these and they all are still in perfect condition. Highly recommended!

great light

I love this light, its pretty much a all in one for a small production. Perfect for a main light as well a fill and back light. I love the fact that I can use the lithium battery over AA. It seems like the flash last for ever, shooting events justs became great, I don't have bring a ton of battery with me. The power and light quality from this flash is bar none. A perfect compliment to any professional photographer, the only thing that would make it better is to have a modeling light.

Fits the newer Sony hotshoe

Still relatively new but bought this for my A7Riii and in testing it works quite well. Easy to program and lightweight. Everything as advertised - for the money, it’s hard to beat!
