Excellent washing machine
I have been using this machine daily for just under a month now. I bought this washing machine based on the reviews and I can honestly say it has lived up to its expectations!! This machine is amazing, I don't know how I ever survived without it. I recently moved to an apartment building with no laundry hook ups. I bought this machine as I did not want to drag my clothes down 4 flights of stairs to the laundromat! It washes the clothes extremely well, however they do get a little tangled but that's not a problem. It is quiet. The hose to fill it up with water does not fit the faucet in my bathroom so I just fill it up with a bucket! The pump works very well to drain the water from the machine - I let it drain into the bath. It is light weight and easy to store - I store it behind the bathroom door. The spinner is fantastic and when hang dried, the clothes dry within a couple of hours! Overall a great purchase and I hope it will last me a long time!

My new favorite thing!
Simply amazing! I live in a tiny studio apartment with no space for a washer and dryer. I was carrying baskets of clothes to the laundromat every week, spending an average of $15. This portable washer has made my life so much easier! I have been using it almost daily since it arrived. It it very easy to move around because of its light weight. I set it up in my bathroom so it can drain into my sink or shower. I use the shower to drain the machine after my last load is done spin drying. The pump works really well but has trouble getting the last cup or so of water out. If you keep the drain tube low (laying in the bottom of the shower) and lift the machine up about 8 inches, the rest of the water drains easily. The machine washes very well and fast. The longest wash time you can set it for is 15 minutes. It has a normal wash mode and a gentle mode. You can fit about 5 shirts and a pair of jeans in one load. I try not to push it though. The spin dryer does an amazing job as well. It can be set to spin for up to five minutes. It sounds like a little jet engine and spins most the water out. I just hang my clothes up in the house and they are completely dry in a couple of hours. I definitely recommend this product to anyone that is sick of the inconvenience and cost of the laundromat.

Hard working little unit does the job
Very nice for a bachelor who only washes a small load most weeks. Even so, the wash load must be broken into at least 2 loads to spin "dry" (a damp dry, but a day on a rack finishes the job). The washer takes only 10-15 minutes to do it's work. I put the clothes into the spin dryer, pour a 5 gallon bucket of fresh water over them to rinse and then spin for 3-4 minutes. I usually finish 1-2 wash loads (and 4-5 "dryer" loads) in about an hour (except on sheets day once a month which adds 30 more minutes.) This little unit does the job just fine! I've been using it for 9 weeks and it's proven so far. Cheaper & easier than going to the laundromat! Update: I note the dryer will not spin up if it is slow draining the rinse water. You might have to manhandle it to tip out the water. It is also temperamental about a balanced load. It can only do one pair of jeans at a time. But it remains a tough, dependable little workhorse after 3 months.

BUY IT NOW! ** important information in this review**
Great machine. From my experience its washing is on par with a regular sized machine and it exceeded my expectations as far as load size. A shot glass works perfectly to measure out how much laundry detergent you should use, fill the shot glass 3/4 full and that is the perfect amount. A must-have accessory for this product is these floating lint traps. They work wonderful and without them you will have lint on your clothing. Make sure you order this along with your machine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HAJXP5A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Use both during the wash cycle at the same time. They work great. Another great accessory is the electric enclosed hang dryer made by Panda. I wish I had bought these products years and years ago.

easy to move around
Lightweight, easy to move around. It washes well and the spinner is very powerful. My suggestions are: do not put too much soap, it is not necessary . After your first wash, drain the water, and then fill the machine with water only again and let it run for a minute, and then drain again. That should help you get rid of the soap. If not, that means that you either put too much soap or you load is a bit big. In that case, just rinse it again. I do not run water while the spinner is active. I simply rinse my clothes twice in clean water in the same section where I washed them. At the second rinse I add softener. Then I drain the water and transfer clothes to the spinner. That's it. When it comes to items that are made of thin fabric, or are sensitive, even including men's dress shirts, always spin for two minutes first. Then take the items out to see if they are dry enough. If you let them spin too long, it might be a bit aggressive for the fabric. For towels I do five minutes. Make sure that you clean the lint collector regularly. My only problem with the machine is that by time it started to fail to drain properly. Looks like the pump is not good anymore. Do not overload the spinner. Just be patient and try to wash your laundry every other day, so it would not pile-up . That way you will not complain how your machine cannot wash a big load at once. :-)

I finally narrowed it down to a washer like this one with an attached spin-dryer
We have been on the road for about 2 years in a large rv, touring the country with our kids. Doing laundry for 6 at a laundromat got to be a real pain after a while. Lugging bags of laundry to the vehicle, into the laundromat and back out to the vehicle and back into the house in all kinds of weather, expensive to boot. So I began looking for an alternative. I looked at many, many different types of washers from the plumbed washer and dryer combos to the hand cranked, non-electric washers .I finally narrowed it down to a washer like this one with an attached spin-dryer, and shopped and compared reviews among those, of which there are several models available. So I purchased this one. I was hopeful but unsure as to how it would do. Out of the box the first thing I was surprise at was how very large the washer drum was. I got the impression from other reviews that these things are tiny. It is not tiny. I did my first load, and I was shocked. This little thing was amazing! I put it right in my shower stall, which is not large, but it fits perfectly. As other reviewers have said the cord is very short. We invested in a 6 foot heavy duty extension cord and it works just fine. I drop the shower hose into the washtub and fill it till the clothes are good and covered, add my soap, and start it agitating. It REALLY agitates. I was surprised by how strongly it moved the clothes around. I was equally surprised when I turned it to the drain setting how powerful the drain motor was. It drained the water quickly and efficiently. Again, I was surprised when I used the spin dryer at how good of a job it did. The clothes were just lightly damp when I took them out. You just take them soaking wet and plop them in the spin dryer, no wringing required. Half the load in two minutes, then the other half. It was very quiet in all its operations in my opinion. But how much can it actually wash? Here's what I just washed today in a larger load: 3 adult t-shirts 3 hand towels 6 pairs of socks 2 toddler shirts 4 toddler pants 4 pairs underpants Not bad eh? So to sum it up, for our family of 3 adult sized people and 3 littler people, I can do 1-2 loads a day and stay current on wash. A note to other rvers: We have a 50 amp rig. I ran this along with a furnace and 3 ceramic heaters on throughout the house as well as lights and various things charging, and no breakers popped.

Great Little Machine
I just received my machine today. It was packaged well and no damage. For those asking if it says on the box what it is, yes, it's stated "Della 5kg Portable Washing Machine. It was easy to hook up to my bathroom faucet. The hose slides right on and the supplied clamp holds it in place. I hooked the drain hose on the toilet. So far I have done 6-7 loads. I had to play with the amount of detergent to use and found that 1 Tbs works perfect. I wash my clothes, drain, refill and add about 2 tsp of fabric softener to rinse. I wash for 15 min and rinse for 6. I was able to fit a full set of quee size sheets, both fitted and flat, along with 2 pillow cases. As for the spin dryer, it will hold half of a full wash load,i.e. 1 queen sheet. I switch the water hose to the spin dryer and run water for 1 min. I found it better to spin for 10 min which means having to start it over as the timer only goes to 5 min. But it does get all the water out to a damp to touch. It is surprisingly quiet for a machine. It does vibrate when spinning so for those asking if it would bother downstairs neighbors the answer would be yes. Luckily I live in a 1 story apartment. The only flaw I found was the spin timer, I wish you could set it longer.

Very efficient compact washer
I bought a Della mini washer in August 2016 and it was great for several months. A few weeks ago the agitator function decreased greatly. It would barely agitate the water, and wouldn't move at all with clothes in it. It was disappointing, to say the least. I could find no troubleshooting information and the warranty had long expired. I decided to buy another Della washer and add the 3-year warranty. I was unable to buy the same model but this seems to be an updated model of the same washer. I bought this on January 5 and it was delivered today (January 12). Everything seems to be great. The agitator function is strong, the spin dryer is excellent and the pump is incredibly useful. For the price, this is an excellent washer. It cleans as efficiently as any standard washer and the spin dryer does an excellent job of removing most of the water. I use this in conjunction with the Sonya portable dryer and only have to dry laundry for a minimal amount of time. I am able to wash two pairs of ladies cotton pants or skirts and two blouses or a complete set of full sized sheets (top and bottom sheets, pillow cases) or three thick bath towels. I could probably add more, but feel like laundry may not be as clean if I did. My usual process is: - Fill the washer with water and laundry, add detergent and wash for a full 15 minutes - Drain water - Fill the washer with water again for a rinse cycle, add fabric softener and wash for 9 minutes - Drain water - Use spin dryer on half the wash load for 3 minutes - Use spin dryer on remaining road for 3 minutes I do not spin dry the clothes between the wash and rinse cycles. I did during my initial use of the washer, but find it's really not necessary. The second wash/rinse cycle really gets the job done. It is great to be able to do laundry from home again. For those without in-home laundry hook-ups, this is a fantastic alternative and is so much more convenient that going to a Laundromat. As inexpensive as it is, it might even be worth having on hand for those with full sized in-home washers/dryers as a back-up if the larger machine breaks down. ***Though the Della description and technical details do not mention it, this model does have a built-in pump.***

Super duper! Love this little giant!
Thanks to all the other reviewers, who helped me choose this washer. Honestly, I doubt I would have taken the risk, without the info submitted by other consumers. Because it's almost unbelievable that such a simple, light weight, inexpensive and compact washer can be so effective! I live in an off grid small cabin, and this machine is going to improve my life way beyond all expectation. I've used it only once, but I washed a lot of clothes: two fleece tops, two Leggings, two base layer bottoms, two base layer tops, three pairs socks, a dish towel, multiple underwear, and a few more miscellaneous items. I love the control to the user; I filled it using water from a rain barrel, some of it heated on a wood stove. The machine draws 260 watts when agitating, and 140 WATTS when spinning. Super! I get most of my power via solar, so I am careful with watts. You wouldn't believe the dirty water that came out the drain tube! So I knew it was working. (And I knew I should do laundry more often.) The spinner centrifuge gets the fabric almost dry. The items were dry enough to put away within a couple hours of hanging up near the wood stove - some within minutes. There are a few items I own that I can say truly improved my life, and this is one. I can't believe nobody in the U.S. makes these, but thank goodness for global trade. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Works great!
First load and I love it! Currently washing my husbands work clothes. I purchased the warranty due to mix reviews so I will happily update in the next few months how this washer is doing. We live full time rv with two dogs and my husband is a diesel mechanic.... needless to say we have a lot of laundry to do weekly! It fits in my bathroom but will be moving outside to our outdoor shower unit so it's not in the way but still protected. Filling it is a breeze however it could use more instructions on proper use. One thing I wanted to know is if I can use hot water. Things it can wash at once (4 costco towels, 4 wash cloths, 4 hand towels- spin cycle 2 towels at a time, hand towels & wash cloths for together)(5 men shirts, 5 boxers, 5 pair socks & 2 shorts -spin cycle 2) (king size flat, fitted & 4 pillowcases -spin cycles all together) (2 couch fluffy queen size blankets -spin cycle 2) after the spin cycles towels & sheets I placed on a piece of paper and the paper remained dry so the spin cycle works wonderful. You can fold the clothes right away but in 20 minutes hang drying they are completely dry. Water usage a full load would be equivalent to one rv shower.
