These are compact and functional. I use them for appliances that only turn on when they are plugged in, like an electric grill. These switches enable me to keep them plugged in, but turned off until I want them on. The switches themselves move smoothly and snap into position. The plugs fit into the outlet snugly. Nothing bad to say.

Exactly what I was looking for to turn the power off and on at the plug instead of having to pull and plug in and out of the wall outlet while adjusting an automatic turntable. The turntable starts rotating automatically whenever the tonearm is moved toward the platter. Great for playing a record, but difficult when making adjustments or changing and aligning the cartridge. Much easier to just reach down and click the switch each time adjustments are made than having to wrestle with the plug which is in a hard to reach spot. This switch can be used with any device that does not have it's own on-off switch. I can already think of a few more uses around the house. Soft glow light on the switch toggle indicates when power is on, goes out when off.

I liked these plug in thingers for use behind the couch because I can plug in phone chargers and laptop chargers without bending the cords of the chargers to excessive degrees. I also like that direction of unplugging a cord doesn't pull this socket out like some other wall taps. They are low profile enough to fit between the couch and the wall without too much of a gap. Nice and cheap too!

I have issues plugging ac adapters into wall sockets because most of them are fatter than a normal plug, so when you use those side-by-side 3-outlet adapters, you can only get 2 things plugged in. This design lets me get 3 things plugged in, and has helped me clean up extra extension cords that were under the desk and getting tangled in my feet. They are bright orange, so thats good and bad, depending on where you want to use them. They are solid, and feel/look like they will last forever. 3 of these were less expensive than a 2-pack of similar devices at my local hardware store.

These on/off switches are so handy that however many you think you need, double the order because once you get them, you will rapidly find more applications for them! They are well-built and work perfectly. With these, there will be no more having to reach for the power cord to pull it out of the wall socket, just flip the switch on or off. Great during Christmas or anytime of the year!

These switches are great!!! The main one I use is to turn on an overhead light. Before, it took two hands to reach up and plug in the light's cord into an extention cord, but now I can just flip the switch with one hand!!! I have been using the switch daily for over a month and it still has a nice, firm click, same as when it was new. The build quality seems good, plastic is thicker than I was expecting. I wanted to get the grounded plug style, but those are much more expensive. The non-grounded aren't nearly as versatile, but they are cheaper :). Overall, I highly recommend these switches!!!

I needed an all in one solution for my Christmas Lights (outdoor) and saw this no Amazon. After comparing it to others it seemed like a slam dunk. I needed 5 outlets, and outdoor rating and a good price and this met my needs. My lights are all LED so the wattage is very low, well below the rating of the outlet. All I can say is that it worked perfect and is built very well.

This item provides 5 outdoor outlets for your use. As others have indicated, all outlets are open and therefore any outlets you are not plugged into should have a "cap" put on them to prevent water from getting into them. There is a minor issue with mounting the unit (if you need to). The design does not provide for secure mounting to anything...I had to use several plastic zip strips to secure it to a post. A redesign to allow screw mounting of the unit would be nice.

I have a light in an odd position, which has a tiny switch, which is challenging to access. I wanted a switch that could attach to the plug, which happens to be at counter level. TA-DA!!! This is the perfect solution! Things I did to make the project a success - Frist I removed a decorative wood faceplate that stood out too far from the wall (a typical plate is what you want, low profile). I loosened the screws which hold the plug socket (mine were just a bit too recessed). After that, my sockets were perfectly flush with the faceplate. Then I plugged in the switch; still looser in the socket than I wanted (no problem, there is a classic fix). I then, ever so slightly, splayed outward the prongs on the switch, plugged it in... perfect!

I have this in my kitchen for random small appliances that I don't use at the same time but don't want to have to juggle plugs for...vacuum sealer, can opener, etc. I love that the sides swivel, as it helps keep the cords from jutting out into the open area, since this is on the backsplash with countertop under it.
