Love this well made kettle!
Very excited about this kettle. Love that it has a lid so I can dry out inside it. Also, there was a review about how well it holds heat; it is true. I boiled water for tea. Poured more water an hour later, and water was still steaming! Then 2 hours later, water was still hot enough for me to use to boil eggs...water for eggs reached boiling point in less than 2 minutes! Also, the included tea infuser was so much better than one I bought in a tea shop; no particles leak out of this one. Extremely happy!!

Love the lever that holds the whistle spout closed
What I like the most and made me decide to buy this one was the feature where the lever that holds open the pour spout automatically closes when you let go. This way, you cannot forget to close it when it is on the stove and not hear it whistling when the water boils, which I often did with my other tea kettle. The only thing I don't like about this one is that the lever is in the way of the filling hatch and it's difficult or impossible to fit it under the pour spout of my water dispenser. This was solved by dispensing the water into a pitcher, jug or large measuring cup and using that to fill the tea kettle directly on the stove, which is not that inconvenient, and since it is water and I have to use containers for other purposes all the time anyway, it's not like I'm getting a container dirty, so it's not that big a deal. This kettle is also quite heavy compared to the old one, due to the several layers in the bottom, so at first, I would think there was more water in it (if I didn't look inside) because of the weight. All in all, it seems to be a nice kettle, very heavy and sturdy and well-balanced; the plastic on the handle means you don't need a towel to pick it up when the water has just boiled, like the old one my sister was using on her gas stove which was all stainless (I bought two of them, one for her, one for me). In her case, it is more similar to the one she was using before, apart from the plastic on the handle. Mine has allowed me to stop using the old kettle which I would sometimes boil dry because of forgetting to close the spout, which is a good thing and the main defect the old one had, which was mainly a defect in me.

Nice, sturdy tea kettle
This is a nice, sturdy tea kettle. It heats the water quickly and retains the heat well. I have a glass stove top and the kettle covers the burner element which is a plus to me. 2.75 quart size is great for making lots of pour-over coffee! One small drawback .. it is a little hard to empty completely, but that is a minor quibble. This kettle replaces an Alessi, which cost several times what this one cost .. My husband and I both like the Willow & Everett better. One thing that almost stopped me from buying it, was a video showing the tea kettle whistling and boiling .. with steam apparently coming out from the lid area and enveloping the kettle! Didn't look to comfy to handle .. but that's not a problem if the lid is properly seated!

Gorgeous kettle that’s easy to maintain , heats quickly and stays warm
Super good looking kettle. Love the gentle whistle. Very easy to maintain and clean. Hot water stays warm longer in this kettle than any other we’ve owned. Only concern for someone with bad hands is that when full, it could be heavy. But otherwise the extra weight adds to it’s beautiful finish and superb efficiency.

... kettle for almost 2 weeks and so far I love it! It has a nice
I've been using my new tea kettle for almost 2 weeks and so far I love it! It has a nice, flat bottom which works perfectly on my smooth, glass topped stove. The tea kettle is beautiful and well made. I look forward to many years of using this tea kettle!

Looks great, great quality and boils water fast!
I purchased this in April 2017 and wanted to wait until I had used this for at least 6 months before I wrote a review. This kettle looks great, is built like a tank and boils a cup of water in about 2 1/2 minutes! That is almost as fast as a microwave and without the negatives of microwaved water! I am a happy camper! It is more expensive than most but after going through several cheaper teapots due to rust on the inside, I decided to try a higher quality teapot - this one delivers and not even a hint of rust! I typically empty it fully after every use and make sure it is dry before putting the lid back on but will admit that I have forgotten to do so a few times - STILL no rust!

Great product, beautiful and functional.
I don't normally write reviews, but this is a product my partner and I enjoy in our new apartment. We have both spent hours researching tea kettles (both electric and stovetop). We ruled out electric tea kettles because they all contained plastic, and out of all the stovetop ones, this product was reasonably priced and beautifully designed. It's sleek and simple, and not tacky looking at all. In terms of aesthetic, it fits beautifully with all our stainless steel pots and pans. The removable top is easy to pop out to fill in water and snug once placed on the kettle. The handle feels great and is not hot when the water is ready to boil. The clasp to pour water is very sleek and delicate to press and the water pours out smoothly. (I'd make sure to press this on and off gently so the water doesn't spit out in case you close the spout closes quickly. (Be careful when filling it the kettle very full, the water is ready to pour at the slightest tilt!) The whistle is sleek and gentle as well (not annoying at all). I haven't used the tea infuser yet as my boyfriend and I sometimes use different teas. Thank you for the beautiful and functional product. We are so happy to have this addition to our home!

The kettle is of heavy construction with a very comfortable handle. It seems to heat up so much ...
Every so often you have a company that is just head and shoulders above the rest. This is that kind of company. A stellar product, a stellar company, and very fast shipping, what more could you ask. We will think fondly of you each morning, and on the cold winter nights. Oh, and incredible customer service! A must buy and we will be telling all of our friends. The kettle is of heavy construction with a very comfortable handle. It seems to heat up so much faster than past kettles and whistles loudly! We are so happy with it!

It's one of those quality items that you are glad you have for it's functionality and good looks
Had the kettle for a couple of weeks now. Keep it on the wood stove and after it whistles, I put it on a trivet on the wood stove to keep it hot. It's one of those quality items that you are glad you have for it's functionality and good looks. The photo shows the kettle sitting on the metal trivet.

and functions well with regard to heat-resistant handle and easy one-hand pouring
Esthetically lovely, clear and vocal whistle that one can hear from just about any part of the house, and functions well with regard to heat-resistant handle and easy one-hand pouring. I've searched for a tea kettle that would suit my needs and wants and this one meets all. Happy with my purchase and highly recommend!
