Good-looking, a pleasure to use, great price

Very cute and practical multi-use cocktail glasses. They were perfect for serving sidecars, after dipping the rims in lemon juice and sugar. I also plan to use them for martinis. The shape at the base makes them easy to handle. They are stable enough, with just enough weight in the base (though once you tip one far enough it goes all the way over -- makes sense given the shape). Definitely recommended for entertaining. I ordered 3 boxes; all 12 glasses arrived intact. The price and ready availability helped earn these 5 stars -- nice to feel I could easily replace any that break. I also got a kick out of seeing this exact glass in a trendy local bar.

We had two parties at our house so far and we served martinis in these glasses. They look very stylish and have that "cool" aura around it in the way they look, when you hold with your hand, and in their shape. A very well made glass set and I highly recommend it. Also, I researched a lot before buying these. If you calculate $ per glass, this set gives us the most optimized value from $, look, and quality perspective. Great value for the money. All glasses arrived intact and there are no issues with the finish. I am sure we will continue to enjoy these in many more parties to come.

Great stemless option for martinis!

Over the years I've really began to hate glasses with stems - they take up a lot of room and sometimes feel unsteady when you place them on a table. I am kind of a klutz and sometimes I misjudge the distance from the end of my stemmed glass to the table, and end up hitting the table with the bottom of the glass and spill my drink. I don't even have to be drunk to do this, it just happens. We've all been there (maybe?). I love stemless glasses not only because they eliminate that problem, but because you can stack them in your cabinet and it saves on storage space. I also really like the look and feel of them. I have stemless wine glasses as well, and both my husband and I prefer them. These glasses arrived very snugly packaged and intact. They're made of a nice, thick glass that does not feel brittle and is great quality. I've used them a few times now and they are a new favorite.

Easy to Use, Easy to Wash, Easier to Brag

Love these glasses! I bought them to have for a New Year's Party, and they were so chic, my guests were lining up to have me make them a fancy cocktail! Best of all, they clean just fine in the dishwasher (I do prefer to hand wash mine--for that extra attention-to-detail sparkle, but the point is that you don't HAVE to do that like some other Martini glasses.)

no tipping over

I was looking for another style but saw these and took a chance. Libbey is usually very reliable. I like them. The major benefit is that after one or two of my Lemondrop Martinis (at home so no drinking and driving), I don't knock over the glass. It's much more stable, in my case, than the glasses with the tall, thin stems.

Almost perfect

First thing, my glasses all arrived whole. One of them has an imperfection, a smooth glass bump on the rim that must have come from the forming process. It's not worth returning the whole set and running the risk of breakage on the next shipment, so I can live with this imperfection. The glasses hold 200ml (about the same as a standard Martini glass) and they are much sturdier than stemmed Martini glasses. We are very happy with this purchase.

Great Product and Great Value

We ordered these for a cocktail party that we hosted at the beginning of the month. Initially this seemed like too good of a deal: a dozen glasses, made in the US, and for a bargain at <$2 each. Well, the glasses arrived safely in immaculate packaging and we were/are very satisfied with the purchase. These feel very sturdy and have a nice weight to them. They aren't light and don't feel cheap. The glass isn't perfect, but you'd have to be looking pretty closely to pick out the imperfections - something that no one is probably going to do once you've served them a Manhattan or two in one of these glasses. The weight is concentrated in the base, but they feel pretty well-balanced in my hand and none of our guests had anything but positive remarks. The fact that they are machine washable is a plus, but these are such a good deal it hardly matters. 8.25 ounces is more than enough volume for our cocktails, but I imagine that will vary by customer. It seems to be comparable to the size I'm served at our local establishments. They hold a chill pretty well, but would probably be best pulled from your freezer just before serving. These are very stylish in our opinion and don't have the look or feel you might expect for the price. Before I purchased these from Amazon I found similar glasses (including some from the same company) in the local box store, but the price wasn't quite as good and they didn't have any sets of 12 in stock at the time. The packaging was excellent, so I wouldn't pass up on this deal. A rare unqualified 5-star rating for us.

Great Glasses, reasonably Sturdy

Feels pretty nice. Good and heavy glass base, which should make them really hard to tip over. They look very classy. Not quite as heavy as I had expected, but I really like them anyway. Would buy again. Good value for the money.

Cute Glass and Good Value

I ordered 2 dozen of these for a martini event I was doing for my office, everyone loved the glasses and they were a huge hit! They were happy that they were being served in a real glass instead of plastic, people commented that they enjoyed not having the long fragile stem of a traditional martini glass. With that said, if you are looking for a delicate martini glass...this is not the right choice for you. This is a durable, throw in the dishwasher kind of glass. I was a little freaked out after reading the reviews that the packaging was not great which resulted in broken glasses upon arrival because the were to arrive one day before my event. But to my surprise that problem has been visibly fixed! I could tell that the boxes had been opened and each glass hand wrapped in paper, the box resealed then wrapped in bubble wrap. Thankfully this was done because they arrived in a gigantic box, with no bubble wrap - no broken glasses I am very pleased with my purchase.
