The plastic is thinner than other popular brands, and slightly more prone to bending/creasing. However, this also allows a tighter bond to the paper/card stock and it's easier to cut. Once used, the thinness of the plastic is less noticeable. 3 mil is probably more like 2, but I actually prefer it, esp. for the price.

I have been purchasing a LOT of lamination and was looking for a cheaper in cost product with high quality. I took a chance and ordered 12 boxes hoping this would work and while my order was split into two packages and one being delayed for weather, (I cannot figure this out, they left at the same time from the same place and one was delayed and one was not) anyway I tried one sheet out and to my excited amazment it worked the same as the product I was paying $20.00 for. This is great, I am usually skeptical when it comes to reviews as well but trust me this works just as well as the high end, high price product. I am very pleased.

I was reluctant to write about these, I thought that ALL brands had their problems until I tried these (yeah i know these are no names or cheapies!) but I grade these by the “static electricity” between sheets while I’m working with them. I have OTHER brands that I’ve bought that were also 3mil, and I had to resort to using drier softener sheets to keep the static down while separating them ( which btw works pretty darn good), then I have my name brand that rhyms with BOTCH... I thought these were the best, very little static while using them or at least minimal... then I opened this pack of Nuova Premium Thermals... just to see or keep my “on hands” consumptions equal (I keep about 1K of sheets on hand), so I checked them out. Well i read about others who complain about the thickness, I say “read the package and maybe check the heater on your laminator... too hot can make for ripple and humps, And so I measure my lam sheets “side for side” So heres the technical stuff... before heat sealed (each side = 0.0025~0.003” - thats 0.0060” combined) this folks is 3 mil laminate sheets” (6 mil ~ 0.0055” laminated) btw 1 mil = 0.001” while 2 mil = 0.002” and 3 mil = 0.003” and so on. (1 mil is exactly 1 x 10-3 inches. In SI units 1 mil is 2.54 x 10-5 meters.). So I have to say that with these I’m ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating them. No static, nice and clear, seal great and not too stiff like 5 Mils. I will say that I use a high volume 12+” wide sealer and it can run at “higher speeds” so I do WATCH MY HEAT level of the 3 mil sheets and I always let them cool just for a long second on the exit tray. My grandson scribbles on these type of sheets with crayons and markers and it’s absolutely no problem... well depending on the “build up” this can produce it to smear for a minute. Overall I feel this brand so far is my “best of the best”, again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I am so pleased with this purchase especially at the price at bulk. Great savings! These are just like the more expensive 3M brand ones I had purchased at Target. As a teacher, I laminate everything and I am thrilled I found these ! I would not hesitate purchasing them again.

I have now bought about 800 of these lamination sheets. I do TONS of laminating for my classroom at home and at school. Our school does not have lamination devices or services, so we are on our own. the quality and ease of use on this product is flawless. I have never had a sheet wrinkle or get sideways in my laminator. They are typically far less expensive than many other brands. I will be a repeat customer for all my school and home needs.

I'm a teacher and do a *lot* of laminating since my school's laminator has been broken for 4 years. I've tried just about every brand sold on Amazon. These sheets work perfectly, don't stick to one another like some other brands, and they're affordable. I bought the 3 mil version because I use card stock for my materials, but if you use lighter weight paper, I would recommend the 5 mil sheets.

This product is worth the little extra money you pay for the 3 mil thickness variety. Make sure you have a laminating machine that is designed to do the 5 mil pouches, though. The results are very, very professional, thick, sturdy, and good enough that you can trim small things *without* having a border of the laminate to keep it together. The difference between 3 mil and 5 mil is quite noticeable. I have a supply of both and never use the 3 mil because it's just not sturdy enough.

These pouches worked perfectly for me! I have used about 60 pouches and all have come out clear with no bubbles or warping. I do not see any difference between these and the Scotch brand that came with my laminator (except being much less expensive than the Scotch). If they had gotten mixed together I would have no way to tell them apart, before or after the lamination. I use these for school activities, and the thickness is perfect for what I am doing. They are thick enough that a regular sized piece of paper stays upright when you hold it up from the bottom. It doesn't roll or bend. Very pleased with the product and the price.

As a beginner laminator, (is that a word?) I'm not sure how relevant my review is, but this was a great deal. I bought an inexpensive laminator by Scotch, these pouches, and I'm pretty much laminating everything. My kids artwork, schoolwork, doodads, bookmarks, you name it, It's pretty addicting. And really easy. I'm not sure why I didn't have one before. I taped a cute piece of laminated artwork my daughter did in 1st grade on my stainless steel fridge. Kind of fun.

I bought these to laminate the world! Lol, at least it feels that way when you're a teacher. These laminating sheets look and feel exactly the same as Scotch Brand. They are 3mil and have held up all year to my students. Np peeling at all. I laminate then cut.
