Saved my marriage

This solved an argument between my wife and I. Sometimes I do the laundry and sometimes she does. She wanted 1 hamper so that it was just one trip to carry it to the machines. I wanted 2 because I didn't want to sort clothes right as I'm trying to put them in the machine. Enter the Home Double Laundry Hamper. I'm happy because we can separate dirty clothes as we put them in the hamper, she's happy because she can carry all the clothes in one trip. The hamper actually looks very nice as well and includes a lid. Thanks BirdRock for saving my marriage :P just kidding. Seriously though we do love this hamper, you can even take the bags of laundry individually if your heart so desires.

Very nice hamper

Very nice looking laundry hamper, the 2 separate bags are nice. The laundry bags are held up with velcro straps in each corner, time will tell how that will hold up in long run, maybe replace with a folding/popup laundry bag. update 1/19 replaced laundry bags it got old having to velcro them into place each time. So i replaced them with following from Amazon 2 Pack - SimpleHouseware Mesh Pop-Up Laundry Hamper Basket With Side Pocket. Fit great drop in/out

Awesome Hamper!

The price for this hamper put me off for a long time, but I finally decided to just purchase it. I am so glad I did! The black is true to color, and is made of good quality material. There was no 'manufacturing smell', rips, or tears. It comes with the hamper, 2 mesh laundry bags, wooden divider, and detachable lid. There is plenty of room for clothes, sheets, etc. It is a little bigger than I expected, but saved more room than using 2 hampers. The only thing I don't care for is that the mesh bags are held in place with velcro tabs. I would have preferred hooks for easy, quick removal but it's not a big deal. Piece of advice - the wooden divider goes into the slot, NOT the lid! Took me a solid five minutes to figure out what I was doing wrong :p . If you found this review helpful, please give it a smile!

This is the one!

I can’t say enough good things. It’s amazing quality. It’s super sturdy and holds its shape like it doesn’t collapse yet it does fold completely flat. The fabric is nice and thick. The lid is magnetic so it closes itself and stays closed. The interior bags easily detach and have handles for easy carrying in and out or washing. We actually use this as a combination trash and recycling bin. It looks super nice in our kitchen. The trash bags also fasten in nicely! Absolutely a great buy. I will be buying again for an actual laundry hamper. Love love love!

No more clothes on the floor!

Love this hamper! Granted anything would have been better than the pile of dirty clothes on the floor overflowing from my laundry basket... so I admit the bar was pretty low for me. I would say it's medium-ish size with two bags. Quality seems nice, at least on the visible parts. Assembly is a breeze. The color works great for my room. My only nitpicky gripe is the bags are secured in the hamper with these Velcro tabs that run through a loop and stick. You have to use them so the bag doesn't fall to the floor. It's kind of a pain to take the time to loop and unloop all of them every time you take a bag out or put one in. For someone lazy like me, snaps would have been better. Not worth taking a star off, but worth mentioning. All in all I'm more than satisfied and would definitely buy this again

I am currently in a college dorm room and as many know, it's quite crampy, so I needed something organized to put my laundry in because most of the time it ended up on the floor and honestly looked quite unsightly. Visually, it looks great. It has a nice, modern, contemporary look and feel. It is sturdy and came clean and smelled fresh. The set up was incredibly simple and the directions were helpful, which you only need if you can't figure it out by looking at it. The hamper comes with two mesh bags that are secured in place via Velcro. There are two handles on the side of the hamper to make it easily movable. The lid closes completely and opens easily all the way back (it does not stand up on its own so do not expect that but it is velcroed in the back and doesn't fall off when opened). Some reviews mention that the top comes off when opened fully. I have not had this problem. No components were missing and I didn't even have to complete the first step because it was already done (I didn't have to put the bottom board in myself nor zip the bottom myself, only slide in the divider, velcro the bags, and velcro the lid). The item came clean, fresh, with all materials, and looked brand new. At first I thought that it was quite expensive but I believe that it is well worth the price and would highly recommend.

The Perfect Hamper For Me

Absolutely love this hamper. Because I have a small laundry room, I don't have the option of hiding away unsightly baskets. This is the perfect choice, if your laundry has to be in your daily living space. Much sturdier and heavier than I expected. As you can see in the picture, it can hold my 12 pound fur baby on top no problem. I think it's constructed mostly of wood. Definitely smelled like it, when I opened the box. I plan on getting more of the colors, to sort my laundry before that dreaded laundry day. Liner is moderately ease to remove. Super nice, if you're like me and HATE touching dirty laundry. For the price, this hamper is worth it!

Nice hamper that won't do your laundry for you

It does it's job. It was exactly how it was pictured. It's very well made and makes the bathroom look great. It has a nice flat top to put things on the hamper when it is closed. Unfortunately this hamper does not do laundry or put clothes in itself (see picture).

but I love it that much

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a laundry basket, but I love it that much, so here I am. I purchased one at the Container Store that was $90, and once I got it home, it was ok, but I felt guilty for spending that much money on something you throw dirty clothes in. I've recently moved into a new condo where storage is a premium, however, the bathroom is pretty large, which is why I decided I needed something that was publicly presentable. The quality of this hamper for $35 goes way beyond the price. It's attractive, stylish even, and very sturdy. I love it.
