- New improvement: clearly printed on the female header connector, more precise and easier to use the wire
- The Uno now uses an ATMega16U2 instead of the ATMega8U2 chip. Faster transfer rates and more memory
- Control using ATMEL ATMEGA328P chip
- 100 percent compatible with the official version, for Arduino Uno R3
- We have always cared about the customer experience and improve the product function details

Great little board to learn programming on!
I Bought this, with a relay board, for my first Arduino project. I wanted to try my hand at some some Lionel Train automation. I come from a QuickBasic background and I've tried to lean C/C++ on and of for 20-some odd years and always gave up because my ideas were larger than my skill level. This little board was just what I needed to give it another go. Because my project was limited to a few digital inputs and outputs it allowed me to learn the concepts of programming in C without my first projects growing way out of hand. A one-hour Youtube video, and the Arduino reference in-hand and I now have some fairly complex sequences that I could not have done without a microcontroller. The best part is I'm nearly done polishing the code and it's only day 3! This is a great way to learn fundamentals quickly. I'm going to have to get a few more of these. I'm hooked! For mounting, I just cut a wood base to be screwed under the layout and hot-glued the PCB's to it. Works like a charm!

Well executed knock-off.
Works just like my authentic Arduino, for my uses I haven't seen any difference in performance. I am not using it with any shields or other add-ons, just the main board. Very happy with the purchase.

Fantastic Arduino Uno R3 clone, works great, great price
I've built numerous projects on this Uno and it works great. It's put together very nicely, soldered well, etc. It's a really great price for us hobbyists trying to save money. If you're considering an original or this one I'd say pick this one up because you'll save money and it works great. You even get the USB cable with it. I've tried a number of different Elegoo products and they all seem to be good quality.

Best "cheap" Arduino Uno clone I've found so far.
There's plenty of other, more in-depth reviews, so I'm just gonna hit a couple highlights: This version has the 16U2 interface chip. You don't have to track down and install sketchy CH340 drivers. It looks like a genuine UNO to the programming environment. It has the removable "DIP" package 328 processor. You may not need it, but it makes it possible to program your own chips and install them elsewhere ... or you can replace it if you fry the processor. The headers have the pin assignments printed on the outside, as well as on the board. Same as a genuine UNO, and very handy. They just work. Unlike some of the ultra cheap boards with 50% success rate I've bought and regretted. And they don't try to pass these off as "Genuine" like some of them do. I feel that these are the best option if you are buying a clone.

Highest quality of boards! Side pinout labeled view. The best ive used in the Arduino world !
Board Info BN: Arduino/Genuino Uno Uploaded sketches and tested basics. Looks and feels higher quality than other Arduino brands. You can tell they are doing a great job on designs. Everything is labeled perfectly and packaged like professionals. Double anti statics bag protection and sturdy box. If you are looking for high quality and a very fair price then Elegoo has very good deals to make electronic design available for the world without sacrificing quality or cutting corners. My wife asked today if I had a favorite brand to buy electronics from and this is the best quality for the best price around. I've tried other kits. Won't name them all like SunF.. and they just lack quality. This is definately what your looking for if new or starting to learn Arduino. The design and side labels of pins make it very efficient to prototype on.

Works great
This is actually my first Arduino and everything went pretty smoothly. I was able to load sketches on it and I also used a L293D motor shield with it to control some DC motors. This is the card I use to test any new sensors I get to make sure they work. The only issue I have is my 2007 iMac can't send sketches to it. However, my 2013 MacBook Pro works with it with no problem. Actually the 2007 iMac can if I hit the reset button at just the right time after hitting upload. I suspect the 2007 just doesn't have the right drivers for the serial port. However, as long as you have a more recent computer than a 2007 iMac you should be good to go.

Inexpensive, works great.
Great little Arduino knockoff. Apparently it comes preloaded with the Blink sketch because the onboard LED wired to pin 13 was blinking when I plugged it in. Pins are printed on the headers, which is a nice touch. Also comes with a snazzy USB cable. I immediately went out and bought two more as stocking stuffers for young nerdlings in the family. I don't think you can go wrong at this price.

Worked for a bit - Updated
It worked, I was able to prototype a circuit, i connected it after transferring circuit to nano and it would not load anything, not even blink. Using Port : COM3 Using Programmer : arduino Overriding Baud Rate : 115200 avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0xe7 Update: Customer support worked with me through troubleshooting process, eventually sending me a replacement. There is always a possibility of manufacturing defect, but its rare to get great customer service - 5 stars.

High quality and a good value
I have an older Arduino Duemilanove that I tinker with. I recently had to mount it in a project, so I needed another Arduino, and I decided to try this one. After recompiling some of my projects for the Uno, the Arduino app installed and ran on this board without any issues or problem. I like that, like my old Duemilanove, the ATMega chip is socketed and replaceable. Even though, I've never had cause to replace the chip, I find it nice that it has the option, where the new Arduino Uno has a surface mounted ATMega chip, and not as user friendly to replace.

Super Cool and Super inexpensive.
Had a chance to use it over the weekend. I own the RP-Zero, RP-3. I had never used an Arduino, and decided to try one, so I ended up buying this one for its price considering Arduino is open source and this is a clone of the UNO R3 specs. I haven't had any issues yet, and have had no problem programming it with the Arduino IDE. The default COM port seems different than what the Arduino uses, but it's no big deal once you make the appropriate change in the IDE. I love it!
