This is the First Order Snowtrooper Officer from the Black Series 6" line, from The Force Awakens movie. I got this Snowtrooper Officer from a brick-n-mortar store for retail price, and it is very nice figure. This Snowtrooper Officer is a figure based on the FO Snowtrooper with an added red-orange pauldron that makes it looks awesome. It follows the First Order stormtrooper design, but the helmet design is different and it better resembles an Iron Man helmet design. A single black slit goes at eye level. A gray line follows the contour at chin level with two ports placed at opposite sides of the chin. The armor at the torso looks similar to the original trilogy snowtrooper and like the original trilogy snowtrooper wears only shoulder pads, bracers and shin guards. Large pouches are placed at both sides of his belt. The cape hangs from the waist and it is made of plastic, but it is very flexible. The overall paint of this figure is OK on this mostly white figure. Articulation: - Ball-jointed head, hinged neck - ball-hinged shoulders, ball-hinged elbows, ball-hinged wrists (inward hinged wrists) - ball-jointed torso, - ball-hinged hips, swivel thighs, double hinged knees, and rocker-hinged ankles. As with other armored figures, this one hides the articulation very well. The articulation at the shoulder it limited by the shoulder pads, but it can move the arms up to 90 degrees. The elbows bent past 75 degrees, but not quite 90. The legs can do a split up to 90 degrees. This figure poses well, specially with its blaster rifle in both hands. Accessories: - Blaster Rifle - Backpack The snowtrooper can handle the blaster rifle two handed, but if the figure is firing sideways, which is OK. The design of the backpack is very detailed, with detailed panels and lines on the sides, but very clean at the back. It is the painted white, with the details on black and gray. This figure hits all the bases, bringing the new and hinting to the past. And it is very fun to pose.
