My old record player finally works.

I bought a second hand record player several years ago to listen to my old record collection. It was sold as like new, but I discovered the stylus was worn out and figured I'd been had. I thought a new stylus, if even available, would be hard to find and expensive like they were in the old days. I was going to throw it out, but decided to check Amazon first, since there's not much they don't have, and at a good price. These are perfect and super quick and easy to install. I can't believe you can get 5 styluses and a new cartridge for so little money. It's like have a brand new record player.

Acestar Vinyl LP record player turntable cartridge

I have a turntable for old albums and it started malfunctioning....the arm would "float" across the record. Had no idea why it would do that. Then the entire needle fell out onto the vinyl. Decided to give these needle/assembly units a try. They were easy to put in with small fingers. My turntable is working and sounding great again.

Woodogg perfect fit

Exactemently what I needed for my turntable. Slipped right up on that thang. Guys, if your turn table is 'busted', it darn well may be the needle. Don't give it to a second-hand store so they can sell it to me for 90 percent the cost. Boy, that's just sinning. Get these godsendifications, and play them jams. I play my jammies now like a scritchedy-scratchedy-bad-mammajammerino. No hassle, just a simple clip an' you good as grandma's house. 5 star, boys an' sea gulls. 5 stars!!

Great value, and Glad they worked out!

This review is for the Universal Replacement Stylus Needles. I have an ion TTUSB05XL player made in 2007. I ordered these since it was listed as a recommended replacement part for my needle. My unit was listed as one of the compatible turntables. I have now learned that the 2007 model is not included. It is a great deal for those devices it fits on, you get five needles, PLUS a replacement head. However, these did not fit my version. Apparently I have the year before they started using the universal needle. Not the products fault, but was extremely bummed it didn't work out for that record player. I do love the fact there are backups and so you’d be set for a long time. Every needle is wrapped individually with foam and has a cover to keep them safe. I don’t see how they would ever get damaged in the packaging. I did end up buying a new record player because my replacement needle has now been discontinued for quite some time. I am still keeping these needles because they do fit on my new Jenson player and I did try one to see if it worked. It did, and it sounded great. Very happy with how things ended out, I will be set on needles for a long time!

Super great for the money

These sound as good as the $20-$30 carts but cost way less and came with 5 stylus. I give the sound an 8, a little light on the bass and the treble. Really good in the middle. Easy fix with an eq.

Great value and sound

I was shocked when my youngest wanted a record player a few years ago. As we were packing him back up for school this year he said he was not taking it because it was broken. He had no idea that it’s common to replace the needle! This was a great value for 4 of them. They are encased so no sticking yourself when putting on - much better than back in the day. They were simple to put on and the sound quality was super!

Great price

Perfect, now my phonograph sounds brand new. I had a hard time swapping out the whole cartridge but was able to get it done. I think it should come with instructions but I found a youtube video to explain it. But I’m happy with the purchase.

Needed replacements because the needle that came with my record player broke wasn't sure were I could buy some I knew f.y.i sold them but it's way too far for something as simple as a needle replacement so thank God amazon has two day shipping. Love Amazon
