Works as advertised
Many of the critical reviews say that these sleeves don't work, but that seems always to be when tested with building entry or other RFID card systems. These are intended for use with contactless payment credit and debit cards, which are the ones you'd be worried about. I tested these sleeves with several RFID-enabled credit and debit cards and at several stores, and the sleeves always blocked the ability of the reader to scan the card, no matter how close I put it. Without the sleeve, the cards were read with no problem. So I conclude that these sleeves do work for contactless payment cards. I didn't try the passport sleeves, because US passports now incorporate their own protection (according to the Dept of State) and don't need them. Aside from doing what they're supposed to, they're small enough to fit in the card slots in my wallet (although they're a bit bigger than an actual card). They don't feel like they'd hold up to a lot of use, so if you use a card a lot, you'll probably at some point have to put it in a new sleeve.

Easy to use in my favorite wallet
Traveled with an RDIF wallet that made removing cards and license stiff and difficult; I missed my Coach wallet I've used for 5+ years because of its efficient design. Finally, these sleeves let me have FDIF protection AND my favorite wallet. The envelopes do fit in my slots, which are wider than my cards to begin with. Even with the sleeves on, RDIF chipped cards are easy to remove both from the slot and the protective sleeves. Yes, it will mean an extra step at point of sale, but worth it to keep my favorite wallet and have data security. In the photo the front two slots are a state license, and conventional credit card in their sleeves.

Easy RFID-protection for credit cards and passports
I’ve been using these sleeves for a few months now and they’ve worked out well. I use them for all my credit cards, my passport and there were enough left to give some to family for their credit cards. The material seems to hold up well and now I’m much less worried about my credit card information being stolen by scanners like it had before I bought these. It’s a worthwhile purchase for the peace of mind, especially if you don’t use a RFID-blocking wallet or purse.

Versatile Protection
They do the trick. I tested them with an RFID reader at work and it was unable to tell that my card was there. You get a lot of sleeves for the cost but what I like most is that there are different styles. I have two different wallets that I carry depending on what I’m doing and for one I need to use the side entry while with the other I need the top entry. Had the pack not come with so many in both shapes, I would have needed to cut some open. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01LDBA28O/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_27

Nice and thin fit in my wallet perfectly
Nice and thin fit in my wallet perfectly. I gave some to relatives and friends and they were pleased. These are good protection but be aware of people around you at machines and banks... because once your card is out of these sleeves!

Gave these the hardest test I could think of, Black Hat Security Conference...
I don't always leave reviews but this one indeed deserved one. I decided to give this product a test at one of the hardest testing grounds available for this kind of product; the Black Hat Security Conference, in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a White Hat Hacker/Security Engineer, I'm always looking for and testing products that will help myself, but more importantly, my family, friends and others in the world that do not walk on the same roads in the technical world as I do. Have no doubt that there are people out there that are very driven and very good at stealing your information and in the cases of credit cards, passports and IDs they are getting to where they can do it without you ever realizing it until it's too late. The days of having to steal your wallet and/or purse to get this information is long gone. It still happens but that isn't the preferred way for the "smart" criminal. These days it is simply bumping into you. At Black Hat it is made a point to try and get all the information you can and everyone walking into the conference area knows this and for the most part comes prepared. My first morning I came with just a prepaid credit card with $50.00 (I wasn't willing to risk too much on an unproven item) on it in the Alpine Rivers credit card sleeve and went to rfid scanning specialists to see what would happen. I asked them to try and get all they could and not tell me if they were successful or not. After 90 minutes of talking to these folks and others I went back to my hotel and checked. The money was still on the card and no attempts had been made to try and access the account in any way. Next I took the same card with $50.00, a chip and tap enabled debit card to a bank account where the bank knew what I was doing so that account was limited with its funding and a chip and tap enabled credit card from a major credit card company who also knew what I was doing and sent me a card with limited funding available. Each of these cards was in the Alpine Rivers credit card sleeve. I went back to the conference and again approached rfid specialists. It was the same deal, I hang out for an hour and a half then go back to the hotel. I checked and nothing was done to any of the accounts again. Next I took the $50.00 prepaid card and the debit card out of the sleeve and left the credit card in the sleeve. I went back to the conference, back to the rfid specialists and within 5 minutes I was getting alerts that both those cards were seeing strange activity. The credit card that was still in the sleeve was not giving me any alerts. I hung out for the 90 minutes and went back to the hotel. The $50.00 prepaid card and the chip and tap enabled debit card that were NOT in the Alpine Rivers sleeves were breached, money had been removed and account information taken. The chip and tap credit card that was IN the Alpine Rivers sleeve was perfectly fine. That evening I started the real test. I took the test credit card out of the sleeve and put two of my actual credit cards in sleeves and went back. The test credit card was getting hit just by walking around within minutes and my 2 personal credit cards were fine. I went back to the hotel, checked and as before the card not in the sleeve was breached and the cards in the sleeves were safe. I went back the next day and did the same thing as the evening before with the same results. I decided to go all in (pun intended for this conference being in Vegas. Excuse the cheese ha) and that afternoon and evening I carried my credit cards, debit cards and passport with me but they were all in the Alpine Rivers sleeves. Being paranoid I went back to the hotel several times and nothing was wrong with any of the accounts for cards I had in sleeves and I was confident the same was to be said for my passport information. Now almost 2 months later I can say that nothing untoward has happened with my identity or any information that resides on a passport and no financial issues have occurred with any card that I had in the sleeves while attending the Black Hat conference. The folks that attend these conferences are driven to get the data residing on these items. The majority now do it for the purposes of helping stop thieves but there are always those that are on the nefarious side. They go to the conferences, walk down the same streets as you, shop at the same stores, go to the same movies and the list goes on. The Alpine Rivers RFID blocking sleeves impressed not only myself but many others at the conference. I use them daily as do my family and friends. I have and will continue to recommend these to people with full peace of mind. I trust them to the point that the executives in the company I work for are all getting these so their items are protected especially for travel. Thank you, Alpine Rivers, for distributing such a great product. Thank you to those that took the time to read this lengthy review but I wanted it to be worth reading as evidence of the effectiveness of these sleeves.

Perfect Size RFID Blocking Sleeves
I am very pleased with these RFID Blocking Sleeves. They are the perfect size for my debit cards and they fit perfectly in my wallet. Hopefully I will never know whether they actually work to block RFID readers.

Buy these now, or pay later!
Alpine Rivers makes some fantastic, effective, RFID blocking products. I recently reviewed their RFID-blocking money belt. For those who don't need the waist-pack (which includes a pack of these in the belt), look no further. These pouches will offer the same protection, at lower price, and will fit right into the wallet / purse / murse you carry today. Some things are SO convenient today. No more pulling keys out of your pocket to open or start your car. (For some, no more keys at all.) You don't even have to take your credit card out of your wallet anymore. A simple tap is all it takes to process a payment. Guess what? While you may never have to take your credit card out of your wallet, a thief doesn't even need to take your wallet out of your pocket. A simple tap, brush, or even just pass in close proximity is all it takes for a thief to take money out of your pocket -- digitally. RFID is something I actually spend a lot of time thinking about. And something I've lectured about. As a technologist, and frequent traveler, one of the most embarrassing things that could happen would be to fall prey to RFID credit card or passport "snarfing". In fact, even most of my transit passes from various cities are "tap cards". It's convenient. But also really dangerous. While I have already invested in an RFID blocking wallet, and even an RFID-blocking passport cover, those are expensive, and the options are limited. This package comes with several thin credit card, and passport-sized RFID-blocking pouches. With these, you're protected regardless of wallet you carry. It did my own tests using several passport and credit card RFID scanning apps for Android, and both the money belt and the pouches were 100% effective in blocking signals -- even from my transit passes. The pouches are made from a tear-resistant material, and fit any passport (yes, your passport is "bugged"), or any credit card. This product pays for itself by keeping your money in your pocket. In my book, that's a good thing. I discovered these RFID-blocking sleeves through a promotion encouraging honest reviews. I did receive a discount in order to test this product, but my opinions are honest, unbiased, and in no way incentivised. My hope is that this review will help other consumers make informed purchasing decisions.

With all the scammers trying to cheat people out there I would highly recommend this!
I tested it with my rfid chip security doors at work and when my card is in the sleeve the door doesn't open and my card is completely protected. I use these on all my credit cards and passport. These can be used everyday, I've used one for my everyday bank card had it for a few months and very little signs of wear but no rips or tears. 10/10 would recommend

It works!
Quick Shipment. Love the look of the product. Snug fit. Easy to put passport/card in and take out. RFID blocking works perfectly. Recently tested it with a hotel room key card. With the key card in the product, the door did nothing when I touched the card to the access point. I was only able to get in with the key card out. Thank you.
