Looks and works great, easy install.

I highly recommend. Got the flag one as you can see in my pic. I did spray it with Poly first just to make sure it didn’t rust, and it actually came out looking nicer than original, just make sure you have clear poly. At least 2 coats on front and one on back. Pop the 6 plastic rivets, these are reusable, I bought new ones in case I damaged them and didn’t need a single one. Once those are removed lean the grill forward. Put top of screen under lip of grill first, then rest bottom of the screen on the metal frame in front of the radiator. It fit perfect. No cutting. There is a notch pre-cut out of the bottom for some wiring harness in there and it lined up perfect. Push the grill back, plastic push pins back. Think it took 5 minutes and the look speaks for itself. Had a 2 hour drive in traffic yesterday with 80+ degree weather in stop and go traffic, and noticed no temperature change at all from the usual. Love it! If you dont want to spray it with poly, no worries, if it did rust its super easy to install a new one and cheap enough to replace every few years.

The screen fits perfectly. I was a bit concerned based on one of the reviews on this site, but I think that person did not realize where the screen sits behind the grill. The screen fits perfect, the hole lines up perfect. The screen sits on top of the bottom clips and wedges into the grill. You can install without taking off the entire grill if you like. Extremely pleased, looks great at a great price point. Installed on a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited

Looks Great, Easy Install, Will fit double grille Sahara!

Easy to install. Remove pressure push pins holding the top of the jeep grille in place, gently pull the top of the grille slightly forward and release the tabs holding the bottom of the grille in place on the drivers side ( I left the other side attached ). Slip the grille insert in behind the Jeep grille and push everything back together. You’ll have to wiggle the insert a little to ensure it seats all the way down and the provided notch is in the appropriate place. It will be snug - it’s supposed to be snug - that’s what keeps it in place. I have a 2017 Sahara Smokey Mountain Edition with the double grill (came with the glossy black inserts in the grille). I was concerned that the tabs on the back of the grille unique to the Sahara models That come with the black or silver inserts would prevent me from using this item without some modifications - but it fit perfectly once it was seated fully behind the Jeep grille. It required no cutting or modification. It is a tight fit which is great so it won’t move. The notch in the grill fits perfectly over the connections. Love it! Looks great and provides the needed protection while allowing sufficient airflow. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

Gives Jeep grille a much more finished appearance.

Very easy to install, perfectly sized to sandwich between Jeep grille and radiator surround so it stay's in place. Hides the ugly radiator and everything else behind the grille, yes you can see through it but it shadows the backgound so it's not visible. Also keeps larger insects and debris out of the radiator. I was concerned about restricting air flow for cooling, however it has not been an issue yet even on mid 90 degree days. I your radiator is full of bugs it won't be as efficient either and this grille insert does great at keeping the bugs out. I put some polish on it before inserting and the bugs easily wash away.

I am very pleased with this item, it looks nice and seems to be good quality. I was a little unsure about the installation but literally Youtubed a video just to get an idea before I tried it. It is so easy, literally my 5 year old could have done it. It consisted of popping about 8 pegs out that hold the grille on and sliding the grille screen behind the grill and putting the pegs back in. It honestly took 2-3 minutes and I spent more time watching the YouTube video tutorial than it took to actually install it. It is amazing how something that seems like a low key addition (black grille guard) actually makes a big difference in the appearance of the front end of the Jeep. It makes it look finished and high end. I worried about how sturdy it would be considering other options using zip ties which seems cheap. This comes with no fasteners and literally seems to clip in to place on the bottom and snaps in to place at the top. when you push the grill back in place to put the pegs back in to secure the grille, it holds it very securely in place. It does not seem like it will rattle or jostle out of place. I think it will give decent protection against small rocks and debris which was my major reason in getting this but it also really makes the front end look much better. I am very pleasantly surprised with this item and it costs half the price of the grille guards you find in the Jeep parts magazines.

2015 JKU Sport

Have an automatic 2015 JKU Sport. Not my style to rig some gutter screens, super glue and zip ties behind the grill. Also not rich so not gonna spend a paycheck for a mesh insert. It arrived today taped between two pieces of cardboard. Once I cut the tape and removed the cardboard I found it was somewhat mishaped from shipping. Kinda wavy. Layed it down on a towel and was easy to straighten it back out. Popped off my grill, slapped it in and put the grill back on. Did not have to cut anything or modify anything. Pretty happy with it, looks good.

The look and value!

What I loved about the grille insert is that it can fit and customize into any area. (I didn’t have to though). I placed it into my stocked grille, then I upgraded my grille to the grumpy/angry grille and was concerned that it wouldn’t fit right. Well guess what, it looks great just as well.

Good value grill insert

Looks great. We will see how well it holds up but it seems like a decent guage metal. Paintjob seems ok. Time will tell how it well it resists corrosion and wear. I was honestly impressed by how well it was packaged to avoid any bending. It came in a bubble wrap sleeve inside of three boxes. Installation took less than 5 minutes. I took the top clips off, and without removing the grill, dropped the insert in and bent the grill back slightly to have the top part of the insert fit in the groove. Popped the clips back in and done. Now I have a nicer looking grill. I looked at other options that looked better with larger perforations but they were more expensive and required taking the grill off, cleaning it, gluing mounts, and zip tieing the insert. There are small gaps that a zip tied product would probably hide but I can live with it. I'm pleased with how this looks considering I was done installing in about the same time it took me to open the package.

Fits 2016 Jeep Wrangler 4 door perfectly.

This came super fast and looks great. It took me 5 minutes to install on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler 4 door JK. There's 6 pins to remove and you just drop the grill insert in. The notched out piece goes on the bottom right (as you're looking at it and holding it to insert it behind the grill) It's cut out to fit around the connector on the bottom right of the inside of the grill. I will amend this post in a little while once I have it on the Jeep for a while and see how the temp guage looks in the hot Florida sun....

Looks and fits great!

Looks and fit great. Super simple install and I believe it will work just fine. Some will have smaller holes but this one has just a bit bigger openings so there should be no change in operating temp. I did have to bend mine a bit to fit the contour of the grill better but it was easy to do. I was nervous it wouldn’t be cut out for the temp sensor in the front since the picture doesn’t show the cut but mine did come cut already. I’ll see how well the key hole lines up when I get around to ordering my hood lock but it looks perfectly centered.
