Perfect for hanging strings of Edison lights on my pergolas

Perfect for hanging strings of Edison lights on my pergolas. Very easy to drill initial hole then screw in the hooks. Holds the lights from their hangers with no sagging at all. I installed 4 strands of 50' Edison style lights. These hooks are exactly the right size & weight. The vinyl covering prevents any potential rust going forward .

Ceiling Hooks

we bought these to hang our string lights on our patio. We were pleased at the size, they are about 50% larger than average cup hooks. They are coated black so that they do not call attention to the fact that they are even there, with the black wire of the string lights. They are heavier than average cup hooks and can easily support the weight of heavy lights. they screwed in just like other cup hooks, smoothly with no problems. We are satisfied with them and will use them again if we hang more lights.

Absolutely perfect! Redoing a kitchen with dark cabinets & wanted black cup hooks that would not stand out like white or brass ones would. Also wanted the larger size so that mug handles would hang easily. Shipping was extremely fast and the price was very reasonable.

The right hook for my needs

These hooks were perfect for hanging string lights from my patio cover. Could not find the right size hook in any of my local hardware stores. Not only were these hooks the right size, they also came in a variety of colors so I could get something that would blend in with the cord from the lighting. They were easy to install and sturdy enough to to the job well.

I wish we had a bigger thread on these, for the same size hook

The thread on these are somewhere between a 8/32 and 10/32 bolt size. I purchased based on something that would thread into a "standard" drywall anchor. They are nice hooks, the best hooks I can find for the price. I have an old house, and everything needs an anchor (Lathe and Plaster).

Good cup hooks

I have a simple wooden shelf in our warehouse. We have a coffee maker there and I screw these hooks in to the bottom side of the shelf to hang all of our miss-fit mugs to get them off the counter top. I like them so much more than the metal ones because the vinyl coating protects the cups handles and are just nicer all the way around.

Patio Lights

Great for Chrismas lights

Worked great. I thought I would have many left over but ended using all 50 on my roof line. This hooks worked really well with icicle Christmas lights. I added a hook every 2 feet which worked well. The rubber/vinyl coating did not slip/move at all as experienced by another reviewer. I also bought the "Big-Reach" Pole Hook for Christmas Lighting and it worked well attaching my lights to the hooks without getting on the roof. I did have to get on the roof to attach the hooks to the roof line but shouldn't have to again if these hooks last.

Just what I was looking for!

Vinyl coating on all of these is very clean and consistent, which is surprising coming from such a bulk count item. Points of screws are sharp enough self-start, and they're strong enough for everything I've hung onto them so far, but probably wouldn't test it with more than ~25lbs, not because of a concern for the metal hook bending, but because of the screw possibly pulling out!
