Quick answer is, I recommend this. Longer version..... A lot of tools for the money. Quality, not the best but far far from bad. Will hold up under moderate use. Very good value for what you get. Angles are relatively small but usable.Same with dividers and compasses. Compasses (2) will draw out a 10+ and almost a 12 inch circle if you're careful at full extension. Will hold any pencil or most pens as the holder is adjustable. Extras such as eraser,lead,pencils. Protractors and ruler to 6 inch. Angles are marked in CM as well as inches.So are the rest of the measuring tools. They are small with graduations to a bit over 2 inches even though they are a tad bit bigger than that. Oh, pencil sharpener also. Good small sized kit with nice closable pouch. Consider this a great starter set and add to it as needed.

Good Job Mr. Pen

The quality is wonderful. I like that the majority of the compass set is made of metal. Obviously the joint parts are plastic but, still really good quality. I bought this product to use in my math class and also when I am in a mood to draw. I also like that the company includes a small note and that it made by teachers who work with intercity youth.

A very good value for basic student drafting tools

The set of drawing and drafting tools was exactly as described and should be very useful. These are definitely sized and designed for young students and my primary interest was in obtaining a basic compass that had a pen holder designed for markers or pens. The included compass suffices for that purpose but I will have to use it carefully and it is limited to small circles. The knurled knob to secure the pen is plastic. Bottom line this is a good value and as expected but aimed at school kids, as it is advertised.+

This is a wonderfully thought out set

This is a wonderfully thought out set. The set contains an array of tools for helping beginner geometry students with an understanding of the basics in angle measurement and general form. While I purchased these for myself in my art studio for quick form work, I am also using them for instruction in both art and geometry with my great nephew.

Great Kit for the Price!

I'm very into Bullet Journaling and got a bit swept up in the mandala phase that's sweeping the BuJo fandom. I wanted to get a compass but also needed a new clear ruler for my journal as I lost mine. This kit had both so I grabbed it since it was definitely affordable. Great choice on my part! Everything is great quality, and you get so much for so little. Plus a little mustache sticker. ;) I recommended it in one of my BuJo groups as soon as I messed around with all the pieces. :)

My granddaughter needed a protractor for her class, I got her a so-call protractor with a plastic compass from Walmart which was not much help in her geometry class and cost almost as much as Mr. Pen's 15 pcs kit. I bought this 15 pcs compass set on Amazon (a kit I have not seen in more than fifty years) for her. She told me everyone in her class including her math teacher was impressed and wanted to know where she got it. This kit is the real deal.

Everything in one place when needed

Great set of handy tools, I use my set for drawing and sketching. The tools are perfect for outdoor sketching sessions, they store nicely in a zipped carrier bag and I always have what I need for my measuring. While drawing at home I use the tools to refine my sketches and while drawing portraits and landscapes. The dividers are perfect to get things like eyes and noses the right size and in the right place. The extra leads and pencils are a nice and useful touch. This set was purchased to replace my misplaced dividers, and has proven to be a must have on its own.

A+ set from a math mom!

I purchased this for my daughter because she needed a good quality set for school. Sure, with back to school you can find sets like this for a few bucks. But, they're not for serious math students. This is a precision set and the measurements are highly accurate. Nothing worse for a good student than doing all the work and not getting the right answer because their measuring instruments were not right. This is a nice set with all the pieces you need for Geometry. You may not know how each compass works or which protractor to use, but the kids will learn in school. Each of the three compasses are for slightly different purposes so it's nice to have the equipment you need instead of having to rely on that $1 compass found in the back to school bins. The protractors are study and the precision measurements make doing homework easier. Having the extra pencil and a nice sharpener is a nice bonus, same with having the right size led refills. You can tell this set was put together by people who know what good students and teachers expect. While it's more expensive than some of the cheap packs you can get locally, as a mom who has taken advanced level college calculus and high-level science I'm glad I found this set for my daughter. I was thinking of buying the various pieces separate, which would have been much more expensive. This will be a great set for her in Geometry this year and as she moves up in math and science.

Exceptional value, excellent quality, great company!

I bought this specifically for a book I was reading. I needed a compass, a straight edge and a pencil. This particular set seemed to be everything I needed, some new things I can learn about, AND a pencil sharpener and eraser! That's the actual set. Additionally, I got a " metal precision bow compass". What???? This is a rather awesome "bonus"! I'm sending a set to my grandsons who will be thrilled with these tools. Good purchase, and worth twice the price.

Extremely impressive, well-conceived set of high quality at a great price. I was surprised at how sturdy the compasses feel even after playing with them a bit. All the products seem like they will hold up quite well over time. And the completeness of the kit shows that a lot of thought went into its development. Well worth the money!
