• 6-point box end snugly fits hex-shaped fastener heads and resists slipping off while you work
  • Box end opening is designed to grip flat sides of fastener heads, not corners, to prevent round-off
  • 72-tooth ratchet gear needs only a 5-degree working swing arc
  • Open end is angled 15 degrees so the wrench can be flipped over to engage fasteners twice as often in tight spaces

I bought this wrench because I had just gotten a new license plate, and it had to be changed within 30 days in my state. I had nothing - NOTHING - to remove the bolts holding the license plate on. Naturally, I went to Walmart. I waited through three hours of traffic to get to the Aforementioned Walmart. Said Walmart didn't have the wrench I needed. What are the chances... Thankfully, Amazon came through, and I was able to get to my apartment office before they closed to receive the package that contained - A wrench! But not just any wrench - THE Wrench, one which could simultaneously untighten bolts and stave off the government's best efforts to ticket me into oblivion or put me in jail. Thank you Amazon for your benevolence. I shall cherish my Wrench forever.

If you have a Pentair CCP model pool filter, this wrench is a must have. It took me 10-15 minutes to remove the filter clamp on my first attempt. With the Tekton wrench, it took about a minute. And it saved even more time re-installing the clamp. I'm sure there are other wrenches available, but the Tekton is well made and has done an excellent job for this specific task.

This is the first Tekton tool I've ever purchased. I was a little worried that the ratcheting side would break, just because I've had some cheaper ratcheting tools break on me in the past. However, the more I've used it,the more confident I've become that it is in fact a very strong, very well made wrench. I used this to initially tighten some bolts holding suspension components of an SUV. I gave it my best pull with one arm's strength before finishing with a torque wrench to bring it to the correct torque specification. It's a quality item, and a good value. I would definitely purchase another Tekton.

It's a wrench ... LOL. And yes, it does what you think it will. I have recently updated some of my tool inventory with a set of ratcheting combo wrenches and the set I bought did not come with an 11mm wrench. So now I have one. Like the others I bought, these come in very handy in tight spaces where you can't get a socket or have limited movement to actually turn the nut to tighten or loosen. Great product. Would recommend to anyone needing to update their tools. It seems that more and more purchased items are coming in MM sizes.

This tool is a game changer! I had always fought the idea of "needing" a ratcheting wrench, but the utility of this wrench in avoiding the 3 times repositioning of a standard wrench at the nut (and the imprecision of lining up the nut correctly). Saves real time and conserves patience! Oh, and the quality/strength is great. The 72 click ratchet is very precise; love it. I still use a "work-horse" wrench to break a nut, but then switch to this as quickly as I can. Only negative is I shoulda bought the set!

I bought this to remove the oil filter adapter on my 99 Jeep Cherokee. This is a nasty job and this wrench made it possible. The ratcheting box end is 6-point and seems to be plenty strong. I had to use a 24" pipe over this wrench for leverage and was afraid the wrench would fail but it held tough and helped me get the job done. Note that the box end is not angled and the ratchet direction is not switch-able. If you want to wrench the other direction, just flip it over.

I've been using Craftsman tools for years (used to work at Sears hardware), but when working on rusted bolts I kept rounding them over. I decided to try a new wrench and WOW! These are so very much better than my Craftsman. I've hammered and pried on these to unstick rusted bolts and it kept it's hold and didn't round any over. I've since ordered others in the standard 10, 12, 14mm

This is a well made ratchet, very comparable to the GearWrench ones that I have. The reason I got this is that not many auto makers use 16mm nuts but the germans do for whatever reason. This is a 6 point not a 12, so it works well for the application.

The more I work with GearWrench the more I like Tekton. Better chrome, 6 point appears to be stronger with less chance of rounding bolts. Way better warranty and service. And 10 percent of what you spend goes towards the next purchase.

Oh how I miss Sears! It has become so difficult to find a six point wrench in town. However, what a homerun to discover one that is a ratchet style. This particular wrench is perfect for auto battery terminals.
