Good priced simple, durable, easy to use garden plant protection!
I found this mini greenhouse easy to assemble, and I used it for a cold frame for my garden starts. I am old, and it was lite weight enough that I could readily move it around. I live on a windy coastal hill so I used a few stakes and a rope to keep it safe. I plan on using it again this this spring for transplants and this coming summer to also protect older plants from cold marine air, or from too much rain fall. I especially like the full zippered front that can be opened out of the way for access. I am pleased that the company is letting me get the parts to repair the damage from too much snow being blown on top of its storage area. I plan on purchasing another one this spring.

Surviving wind and snow so far
So far working great. My husband is using these over his seeded vegetable bed. He is using heavy duty stakes and extra dirt piled around the edges. In the past 3 weeks the cloches have survived one wind storm and two snowstorms with 2 to 3 inches of wet snow each time. Lettuce and radishes have sprouted. This is Colorado, however, so plenty of bad weather can occur before our May 15 last frost date.

Very nice!
Wow.... this is very nice, given the low price. The instructions weren't very good, but even so it went together quickly enough. It's surprisingly sturdy too- I wish it had at least one more bar across the middle, but that's nit-picking. I'm very happy with the purchase. One thing... Even in mid December it got quite toasty and humid inside- so you'll need to open the flaps to vent it some days. Also, I used some long edging stones to anchor the bottom flaps nicely... bricks would work too.

Seems like an excellent value so far.
I purchased two of these and received them a few days ago. The assembly instructions are basically just a photo with the various pieces/joints labeled with letters, but it wasn't difficult to figure out and I had them both assembled within just a few minutes. I have a few vegetables in my raised garden which are still blooming and producing, so I thought putting one of these greenhouses over the plants might help prolong production a little bit longer before it gets too cold for them. One of my tomato plants had a branch sticking out that didn't seem all that strong to me, but nearly pierced the cover of the greenhouse as I was putting it over top of the frame. My fault for not being more careful - but just pointing out that these are not all that heavy-duty and will need to be attended with some care to keep the covers from being torn. I think they will be perfectly adequate for my needs and I'll be more careful going forward to ensure I don't get tears. I've checked my plants the last few days and have found that these greenhouses are holding a nice amount of heat. It would be awesome if the design was updated to incorporate a small vent or two, but for now I'll just roll the doors up and down to allow for some airflow each day. We haven't had any inclement weather yet and temps have only gotten down into the 30s, so I can't say how well these will hold up when conditions become more challenging. So far, I'm happy with my purchase.

Nice size. Sturdy tubing. But needs to be framed around bottom.
My yard is a wind tunnel, so my grandson built a frame around this greenhouse to hold it down. It is of course a light weight greenhouse. It's portable you understand. My yard is small and it fits perfectly. With the flaps rolled up, I can still reach in to the back rows of vegetables. Tubing is strong. But to tell the truth I don't think the shell will last for 2years. But that's ok, if it doesn't I can replace it when the time comes. Would I recommend it? Yes. A good price. Easy setup. Tasty veggies.

Great product, good value
Delivered promptly. Sturdy construction. Easy assembly (we did use duct tape to secure the joints, not that it needed it). Nylon web reinforced poly cover fit perfectly and zippers function smoothly. Fit well in our raised garden bed. It's light so we secured with straps (it can get windy here). I'm thinking of buying another.

Perfect size for flower gardens. Really helped out the daffodils and hyacinth.
The past few years we've had really weird weather in February through April...warm, then freezing, then hot, then freezing again...and our flowers were paying the price. We only had daffodils one year out of the past four and the hyacinths didn't bloom at all. This year, with this greenhouse to cover the flower bed, we were able to keep the bulbs from re-freezing and dying, so we had a great display of yellow daffodils framing blue/purple hyacinth. Next year, we're going to plant some annuals in the house then use the greenhouse to transition them to the other flower beds and get a jump-start on summer colors.

Great product and great value
I love the fact that the plastic covering is reinforced. I looked at the reviews for other similar mini greenhouses, and the plastic covering sounded cheap. This seems durable enough to last many seasons. I like the fact that there are lots of zippers so you can easily reach inside. I have placed it on top of my raised bed, and it is plenty big enough to protect a number of my early spring plants that are frost sensitive. It was easy to put up once I figured out that the plastic connectors are numbered. I didn't' notice at first because the number blends in. It should be easy to disassemble for the off season and then re-assemble. When windy, the whole thing blew off, but it didn't hurt anything and it was easy to put back into place. Then I discovered I could tie the frame down to items in my raised bed, and this holds it down very well. I tied mine with sturdy twist ties, and attached them to my wire gopher baskets. The frame could also be tied down to sturdy stakes. The only minor suggestion I have is that the little ties you are supposed to use to tie open the front are way too short. When I want to lift up the front panel for access or ventilation, I use clothespins, and I clip the clothespin to the tie instead of using the ties to actually tie anything.

... together a lot of shipped kits - garden products like this one
I've put together a lot of shipped kits - garden products like this one, a full double-shed greenhouse, a lot of furniture, indoor and outdoor. I've never had a kit go together as easily and intuitively as this one- great job whomever designed this kit!!! As far as the use of it goes, it is really well thought-out with dual flaps that tie up with sturdy ties so you could open one or both sides as needed for ventilation and direct sun, or leave the flaps closed to provide "partial sun" or "dappled sunlight". For the cost, I find it a really great deal for my needs. I agree with the other reviewers that it is not built for high winds, but that is to be expected for tubular metal and a portable cloth greenhouse for starter plants. It does have bottom rails so you can stake it down with rope, garden stakes, etc, but it won't be sturdy in a high wind. If you want that though, you will have to pay multiple hundreds of dollars for a real framed greenhouse, most likely. For the cost, my limited time to put this together, and for my starter plant purposes, this is an amazing value. Thank you!
