I've been using a 24" monitor, so you can imagine the difference. Crisp, clear images with beautiful color. This monitor is ULTRA THIN and very sleek! Looks great on the desktop and provides edge-to-edge screen surface. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased this monitor through Office Depot locally, for an older 2012 model HP Elitebook that I use for software testing/coding. The screen resolution on this HP monitor is phenomenal. I am extremely impressed with its display, and recently made another purchase of 2 of them for my primary work PC's docking station. I've owned several different home PC's and various monitor technologies in the last 20 years, and this is the best looking display I've ever purchased, to date. Update: 5 months later I have three of these monitors connected together on the same PC and the video quality has been perfect since the purchase date. I haven't had any issues with color or brightness, and they are still the best monitor purchases I've made to date. I've never owned an Apple PC or Apple monitor, and I've seen other reviews hold the apple displays at a higher bar. That being said, I am not looking for a better monitor, as this model has already reset the bar standard for me.

This is the second HD monitor that I've purchased and I'm immensely satisfied with my purchase. Unit comes packaged in a secure box with plenty of styrofoam cushioning. Included is an HDMI cable, power adapter, and power cable. Set-up is extremely simple and took less than 5 minutes. I LOVE the color scheme of the monitor. Matches my mostly Apple set-up very nicely. This monitor actually looks like a product Apple would produce. This monitor's colors are so rich in comparison to my MacBook Air screen and my other monitor I've owned. I'm not a graphic designer or photographer, so I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly how good it is, but as a frequent computer user, it looks pretty dang nice. Monitor is pretty bright out of the box, but the on-screen menu is easy to use and finding the brightness setting was a piece of cake. Just got done watching some YouTube on this monitor and by golly it's a beauty. Again, I don't have much I can compare it to, but compared to my MacBook Air Screen, it's gorgeous.

Nice, bright, crisp display with a lot of customizable features available, if you want more control. If you're not into all that, just plug it in and use the default configuration. The edge-to-edge display (on 3 sides) is a very nice aesthetic feature. The only thing I can say on the downside is that the quality of the sound from the built-in speakers is disappointing, But I have a separate speaker system, so it's OK. I would recommend this monitor based on its visual quality, but also recommend separate speakers.

I had some issues with making this order happen because customer service wasn’t very nice to me but I am very happy with the monitor itself. Easy to hook up to my laptop (and it comes with an HDMI cable so I didn’t have to buy an extra), clear picture, larger than expected, and practical for me to use. I like to pair it with my laptop because it’s much easier for me to keep multiple tabs open, etc. I also don’t have a TV in my house (shocking, I know) so I use this in conjunction with my laptop to make the screen bigger for streaming video. It does not have its own speakers so you’ll have to rely on your laptop for that but the pictures itself are really strong. I also like that it has such a sleek look to it. Definitely appears much more expensive than it actually is.

Just the thing I needed to save my sight while post processing photographs on my Surface Pro 3. While my Surface Pro 3 is a great device, the screen is sort of small when it comes to post photography photo processing. The HP 27er produces large clear images and its screen is matte so there is no glare, no eye strain. It works for me. I highly recommend.

This monitor is absolutely amazing for the price. Next to a 24" screen, it looks huge. The user interface is superior as well, for example you can set one of the physical buttons to brightness and change the settings with just a few buttons. This is important if your lighting conditions change between daytime and evening light. The frame itself is beautiful; the bezel is thin; the back is clean and bright meaning you can use this in a variety of settings and especially great in an open workplace. It's not as vivid as a $500 screen, but with max contrast it looks incredible considering this is roughly one third of that cost. Highly recommended.

Clear crisp image, extremely thin monitor. looks space age. I checked it out at Best Buy first (frankly I would've bought it there, but the employees were so busy they ignored me and I was like "this is why Amazon is winning," and I walked out of the store and bought it here). I am using two monitors now, so I needed to buy an extra cable, but if you are just using one you just need an HDMI cable. Really a stunning monitor.

I cannot express how happy I am with this monitor. Its the perfect size for my application, and the speakers aren't "horrible". For the money, I don't think there is a better monitor you can get. The viewing angles, the color accuracy, and the SUPER THIN bezels are worth way above this price range. I got it on sale around Christmas time for like $130, and its bound to be on sale for that again. I've had this monitor for over a year, and had zero problems or complaints. It integrates well with my MacBook Pro, and is fast enough to play games on (I play League of Legends and the Witcher 3 mostly). If I could muster one complaint, its that it is not VESA compatible. Honestly, this is not really a big deal for me, but it would be a nice inclusion. My roommate has the same monitor, and he actually purchased two of them. The first one he damaged while cleaning, but loved it so much that he bought another one. As a disclaimer: he damaged it by using glass cleaner on an LCD, which is a sure-fire way to damage the panel. Its thin, like... really thin. I doubt its more than ¼" thick from the ports up. This is a nice aesthetic, but not completely necessary to me. I also have the 27" version, and I'd say save the $40-$50 and stick with this 24" version unless you REALLY need the extra space. The 27" starts to get really pixelated, and the bezels are larger.

As a budget pc gamer I was looking for a couple monitors that would provide a good experience for 1080p 60 fps gaming. TLDR: Buying 2 of the 24” models has done that for me. Refresh rate As stated in the product specs, these monitors have a max refresh rate of 60 Hz. This is perfect for games like Wolfenstein or Mordor: Shadow of War as these games are more cinematic and high refresh is less important. If games like League of Legends or CS:GO are more your style then you might want to look at gaming monitors if you want to have the best possible competitive advantage. However, at this price point you will still have a great experience. Brightness When playing games with dark areas like Skyrim, CS:GO, and PUBG, it’s important that to see well when an in-game area is dimly lit. This monitor allows you to do that. Contrast Along with brightness, you also need good contrast in order to distinguish enemies in dimly lit areas. With the on-board settings on both brightness and contrast all the way up and in the Nvidia control panel for my graphics card having the brightness at 50%, contrast at 47%, and changed the color range from limited to full and it should allow you to distinguish enemies and objects well. Viewing angles This monitor has great view angles which can be attributed to the IPS display used. This makes it easy to use in a dual or triple monitor setup as the color representation is accurate at every angle. Connectivity This monitor was 1 VGA, 1 DVI, and 1 HDMI port. This is perfectly fine for anyone that has a device with HDMI output as an HDMI cable is included in the box. However, some people such as myself, might need to purchase an additional Display Port to HDMI cable if they want to run two displays and their device has multiple outputs but only one is HDMI and the others are Display Port. Anti-glare The screen has a matte finish. This makes it great to use in any lighting environment. It’s still easy to see the screen when there is direct light reflecting off it. Consistent manufacturing. As I said, I bought two of these monitors and they both display colors the same if you have them at the same settings. This can’t be taken for granted because there can often be differences that cause colors to be displayed differently and it can be quite annoying.
