Tied up my Costco Christmas tree
I bought this to tie up my overly large plastic Christmas tree from Costco (while in a large container bag). Ended up using only 2 straps to tie the top and bottom tightly to prevent the tree from expanding so I could shove it in my small closet in our patio. Worked incredibly well and guess what they give you two additional jumpers as a bonus. What a deal guys (a steal possibly). Hey Mary (AUGO) if you're making good money still all the merrier! (wow this became very Christmasy in February). The material is high quality and I was able to tie it pretty tightly without any slack or felt that it wouldn't hold. I'm pretty sure by next Christmas that this will hold its tension with no hiccups. Thanks!

These straps helped Save the Bees!
I'm guessing this will be one of your best reviews ever. I live in Orlando, Florida and I have two bee hives in my backyard. When news first broke about hurrican Irma, I went into panic mode and tried to figure out how to help my bees survive a hurricane. I ordered these ratchet straps so I could strap the hive boxes together and make sure the top lid was securely kept on. I also decided to use rope to stake the vibes into the ground. I didn't sleep a wink the night Irma came through. The winds were more intense then anything I had ever experienced. I kept saying "my bees are going to be destroyed!" every time a patch of hurricane force winds hit the house. The next morning I walked out into the backyard and saw two 50 ft trees that had been destroyed (one snapped in half, the other totally blown over) and tons of tree debris all over the yard....much to my surprise my bee hives were standing tall!!!! I couldn't believe it. These straps were awesome and so easy to use. That morning, the straps were just as tight and solid as they were when we first put them on. Thank you for helping to save my bees!! (I posted 2 pics, one is before hurricane Irma & the 2nd one is the morning after Irma.)

Ratchet Tie-downs
I have not completed my first use yet. Now I am about to trailer my new airplane home from Tennessee. Everything looks shipshape and is really snug. I really do not foresee any problems. Thank you so much for the speedy delivery. Okay..took wing off the airplane and placed it on a ladder rack made to the dimensions of my truck bed (and about a foot taller than the roof of my truck) and strapped it down. then placed the fuselage on my trailer and strapped the nose gear and the two main landing gear to "D" rings bolted to the trailer. Never a hint of a problem for the 170 mile trip. Thanks, these ratchet straps are absolutely great.

TIDY TIE-DOWNS
This is a very nice, strong set of Tie-Down Ratcheting Straps; comes in a heavy-duty plastic storage case, that can be hung on the shop wall, or used to keep the straps neatly stored in a truck's tool compartment, car trunk, or anywhere. Easy to use ratchet straps, with strong, coated hooks on ends. I can tie any load down, myself, when being the "gopher girl", picking up supplies, and ratchet makes the load snug & safe. Hubby uses one, wrapped around a tubeless tire, & ratchets it easily, to compress it and cause it to pop back in place on the rim; saves a lot of struggle with that chore!! I'm sure we'll find many uses for these strong, well made ratchet straps. Excellent 'buy' for what seems to be good quality. Will update review, if they prove to be otherwise. At this point, we love 'em !!!

Love these!
These ratchet straps are amazing. I had no problem with them. I am a woman and pretty used to my husband doing everything for me, but he is deployed and I had to figure things out on my own for a 14 hour drive to my inlaws, from GA to TX. I strapped down a roof bag and these babies kept everything in tacked. My brother in law had to give me a quick run down how to used a ratchet strap, but all i needed was to be shown once. These were so simple and amazing quality. Will last a long time!

Very useful and well made.
I now have two of these tie down straps in each of our SUVs. The straps are much longer than I need to tie down cargo in the luggage compartment of an average sized SUV. However, I figured out a way to feed the long strap in such a way that does not bind or hamper the release mechanism. Of course, the strap can always be cut to a shorter length. The longer length is necessary for tying larger cargo on a roof rack. Coated hooks help protect the vehicle.

I felt like a man using these
Just bought a pickup truck. So obviously the first thing I had to do was help someone move... These worked great! I've used ratchet tie downs in the past that are a pain in the butt. These are easy to tighten and release and they hold very well. I tied down a bed, bed frame, headboard, and a large tv entertainment chest in my truck. Just for fun, and to annoy my gf, I took a rough way home. Nothing budged. 10/10 would buy again.

Solid & Easy Smooth Action
Can never have too many tie downs. Perhaps it is punishment for owning a truck (which is hardly driven), but everyone needs assistance with a purchase pick up etc these are a nice easy add, the action works well no issues. Nite. Don't have a pickup, know someone with a pickup. Then buy them these for the next time you need to pick up a sofa and tv.

Strong straps, easy to use
So I don't know enough about this type of item to say much. However for someone looking for an item similar to this for whatever reason: I recently sold a lazy boy couch, thing weighed a ton. These were the straps they had to keep it from moving in the back of pickup. They had no issues keeping it in place. I was impressed after told they didn't run much $. One thing I was trying to figure out was were these the ones that tighten down, yes they are. It's two separate pr pieces. One 15' strap and a short (shorter than some ppl like, but works for moving items...) The hooks are covered in rubber so not to scratch metal. Last winter we had an ice storm that split one of our arborvitae & made it kind of spread. We will have to replace, but with one of these straps & creative wrapping I was able to pull it together enough. One issue I ran into was the strap was long for the moving of items via dolly. You can wrap the things really well, or buy extra straps that are shorter to solve. The ratchet strap being short is perfect for this type of moving. The slack rolls up and releases well. Not difficult to use. Instructions are easy. Ppl with exp will have no issues & new to a ratchet strap, you'll figure it out :) Shipped quickly. Hope there's some help in there. Peace

Don't Tie! Ratchet!!
I probably should have ordered a second pack (4 in each pack plus 2 bungies) but they sure did the job for me and my brother! Work SO much better than rope. No tying...just ratchet them tight. Covered a lot of stuff in the moving van. Totally recommend this product. Oh, and the price was right!
