That's a little thing packs a punch! I'm a seasoned bouncer at a bar in downtown Dallas, and I've had this on me for about 2 months now. I can tell you from experience that just pressing fire and letting the "crack" be heard is enough to ward off most aggressive people. I will say it's a good idea to ditch the little cheap holster it comes with though. Go to a gun store and find a pistol magazine holster that fits instead, as they are much better built. Had a co-worker do a controlled 2 second burst on me before considering it for use, and it put me down quick. I'm 6'1" 220lbs and very athletic. The light on this thing is right at about a good 180 lumens and enough to disorient a person in the dark from about 50 feet away too. I got one for my girlfriend to carry in her purse and it takes up no space at all. Warning: these will not work through thick clothing!!! They seem to go through a t-shirt every time, and some light sweaters, but they aren't going to do much to a person dressed for winter weather through clothing. Ladies, this is a great self defense tool to keep handy. It will fit in a clutch purse realatively well if you're out on the town, or it fits into a jacket pocket very well. Just get in the habit of storing it in the same direction so you can access it faster and more reliably when seconds matter. The last thing you want to do is be caught fumbling around in a defense scenario. Overall great little defense tool, and I plan on buying one for everybody I work with/care about. I wasn't given any incentive for this review, just honest opinion of the product.

HONEST REVIEW, I'M OPEN TO QUESTIONS.

Im surprised the promptnes in wich i received my product, i got it as a guft for a friend that has to work until very late and couple of facts about tge product. 1. Is very compact, this makes it easy to hide in a pocket. 2. Has a built in flashlight, very good to disguise it as a such while walking on dark places. 3. The powerful sound of the spark is extremily intimidating. NOTE: please be aware that this product is a self deffense type of weapon which used lightly or not taking it with the resoinsability that requires it could cause permanent damage, it is not a toy and it might be fatal in some cases. THANK YOU for taking our security as something important, i will highly reccomend you as a seller.

Best one i have found

This is awesome.. i seen a bouncers review so i bought one for myself.. i do alot of errands alone, i exercise and go to the store, take my dogs for walks.. now i feel safe, i hide it in my bra in small, has a very loud sound, scares everyone everytime i play with mine.. i plan on buying one for my daugther whom will be moving out on her own in feb.. i recommend this..

Easy to use

This is my second stun gun. I bought it to replace a different one that I misplaced. Compared to my old one, this is way better. The form factor makes it easy to switch from "off-light-stun" modes, and then once in "stun mode", move your thumb up just and bit and you are ready to zap. Much better design than my old one. I bought this for use when walking my dogs since sometimes stray dogs will run up and provoke us. This one is so easy to use one-handed. I also love how the charging prongs slide out of the unit. (With my older stun gun, I often would misplace the short little charging cord). I cannot really comment on the stunning and stopping power of this, I don't really want to test it on someone unless required. One area of improvement would be to have some texturing on the side. I suppose if you are jogging with it, the sides could become a little slick from sweat.

Works Great!

would recommend this product to anyone looking to be able to defend themselves in an emergency situation. I bought mine a year ago and today was my first time using it against someone who was high on drugs that tried to rob me of my car. I was able to quickly access the stun gun and turn it on. I used it without hesitation and it took down the suspect within seconds. The suspect remained stunned until police were able to arrive and handle the sistation. This item will be effective if you use it in areas that a person may be sensitive in for example I used my stun gun on the suspects neck area which obviously hurt enough for the suspect to let out a loud scream and then visibly shake, and fall to the ground. Overall this product is very well made and very effective!

STUN GUN PROTECTION

Stun gun arrived on time. Small enough and compact to fit in my purse and hand. Discharged only once in air as practice and check gun working condition. Hopefully will never have to use this stun gun but good to have as a single female.

I ordered this because you can never be too safe. And the area I live in has a pretty high crime rate. Love the color and size of it, it can fit perfectly in your purse/pocket and hand. I tested it out and it sounds scary! Hope I won't have to use it, but I am very impressed. I also love that it comes with a little case. Can't beat it for the price, either. UPDATE: After it died and I charged it for the suggested amount of time, it never turned back on. Not really upset about wasting my money, but I would really love to have a working taser so I can have some peace of mind. Will look for a better, more reliable one :/

Very pleased

I purchased this for my 15 year old daughter. She will be driving soon and I want her to be able to protect herself if she needs to. It does seem like it would knock the crap out of someone but I have not had a volunteer yet. Small and compact and easy to charge. We are both very happy with it and shipping was fast.
