Works for my 25 month old boy
It works great for us! My boy can sit there and pee, and the little shield in the front sends all the pee down into the potty. He doesn’t need to aim, and so far no mess! It removes easily and can rest on that hook, but be aware of the dimensions- it’s a tight fit between the tank and the wall at our house, and it barely fits there in our bathroom (pic included). It’s held up fine, but we’ve only been using it a week so far. It wipes clean easily. A note on ordering: the default “ordered with” stool wasn’t a good fit for us. Think about the size of your kid, because kids potty train at vastly different ages (and heights) in different families. Our fairly standard looking potty is 16” off the ground. We tried a 6” or 7” one-step stool, and it’s not enough to get him up there independently. We had to go back and order a taller 10” two-step stool later. We will see how that works when it arrives!

Truly awesome
I have tried all sorts of potty seats and chairs. I found ones I liked with my daughters but they wouldn’t work for my son. This one is awesome because it actually attaches to the toilet seat so it won’t slide around and drop my baby in the toilet. It takes a little getting used to on attaching it properly on my oval toilet seats but it is well worth the effort. The pee guard is high enough that I don’t have to worry about “pointing him down”. And the seat ring goes down far enough into the toilet that the pee doesn’t sneak out under the toilet seat. I just rinse it and hang it in the shower after he pees. It is a little bulky so it won’t fit in the tight space on the side of my toilet but the bulk is necessary so I don’t count that against it. The edges of the pee guard are NOT rough like I read in some reviews. And the price is great. An amazing find for my 17 month old that wants to sit on the potty by himself like his big sisters!

Perfect
So far this is a really great potty seat for my 3 year old. Needs no installation. Goes on and comes off easily. Stashes on the side of the toilet well. My daughter was not intimidated by it at all when she first used it. The raised lip on the sides are great for her to grab and pull herself up. I would highly recommend this seat. Will most likely buy another for her at her grandparents house.

Best potty seat we have used in 17+ years!
I have 7 kids aged 2-18. My youngest are 2 year old twins who are potty training. We have had so many potty chairs and rings over the year. This is my favorite! It fits securely without sliding in the toilet seat. The contoured design makes hesitant little people feel secure and not like they are going to fall in. I do like the handle/seat back on the. Back of it, but wish it were like and inch or so shorter in th lowest height as it is a tight fit to hang it on the side of the tank by my wall. That being said, I love that it has an attachment to hand on the tank. I highly recommend his seat!

LOVE IT - Using for 10 month old
Bought this for potty training/ practicing elimination communication with my 10 month old daughter (29 in. 18 lbs.). It's perfect for her! It is easy to put on and take off, my daughter can sit on it without assistance, the high front prevents her from peeing on the floor, and it is easy to clean. The handle that helps secure the seat also acts as a backrest, which is really helpful for my daughter. I would highly recommend this item.

Great for boys too!
I spent way too long reading about potty seats to replace our baby bjorn potty, and am so glad to say we love this one! We needed something good for a boy, not too uncomfortable, and small enough for his little 2 year old body. This one exceeded my expectations, I didn't see the need for the handle but am so grateful for it since it makes the process of potty training a little easier! It also works as kind of like a back support if need be. The handle couldn't be pushed in all the way to fit our shape of toilet (round not elongated). Which is fine it still works great. I like the little side lips where he can hold for stability without touching the actual toilet. The pee guard does it's job and is easy to clean up after, just have to be careful with boys and teach them to point down because we have had some close calls when he tries to lean back ehile peeing. I would recommend it, for boys or girls, especially at the 12.99 I paid (that's a steal!). We did buy 2, one for home and one for the car so when we visit family

Excellent
I should have bought this one first, we started out with the cute Minnie Mouse potty that makes noise and caught her attention. However, because it's on the ground she constantly stands up and sits down and likes to slam down the lid and push the handle to hear the clapping. Also, with that potty after the first time we took the seat off to clean the bowl part it never went back together correctly. I read the reviews on this potty and decided to give it a try. My daughter loves that she is sitting on the real potty and the seat is much more comfortable. She can lean back on the handle, it's easy to remove and store, and easy to keep clean. Don't be fooled by all of the ones with lights and music, simple is definitely better.

Potty training success
We really like this seat for potty training. My child was not one of those done in 3 days success stories. Potty training in our home has been an ongoing process for over a month, it was gradual and slow. This seat was a great part of why we've finally had success. We originally started with a standalone potty but that didn't go very well. I think my child was getting distracted and wasn't connecting waste elimination with this plastic chair in the middle of the room. So we decided to get a toilet seat. This fisher price one fits great over the seat and is contoured so the child can sit comfortably. Once we fit the seat on the adult toilet my child finally started to make the connection to going pee and poo on the actual toilet. Initially my child would sit just sit on the potty for extended periods of time and this is where that comfortable contouring and dual handle/ back rest came in handy. There is no fear of falling in or getting angry red marks from sitting on a sharp rimmed seat for an extended period of time. The handle/ back rest is also really convenient and makes it easy to remove the seat and store it so the adult can use the toilet. All in all we have really liked this seat and it has been a huge part of our potty training success.

Great Potty Seat!
So much easier than cleaning out one of the potty seats that sits on the floor. I wish we made the switch sooner. Fits great on our toilet and nothing seems to bother him about sitting on it. We also haven’t had any problems with spraying/peeing out of it. He hasn’t been able to climb up to sit on it by himself yet, so I can’t add to the ease of getting on or off since we lift him on to it. Overall a great, stable seat for training toddlers.

Perfect fit for toilet and doesn't slide around!
I usually don't write reviews but I felt it was necessary since I have been looking for a potty and or potty seat for my kids for some time now. I purchased two potties, a seat and a seat with a ladder. The potties were ok but not really working for my son. He has special needs and is four years old. The potty is a bit small for him so I wanted something to use on our toilet. The seat with the ladder was the worst purchase ever and I would not recommend those to anyone. They don't sit properly and pinched my daughters leg. Another seat we purchased was very small and moved around so much I thought they would fall off the toilet. I figured I would give this seat a try because many of the reviews were so positive and mentioned how it does not slip or move around. Well they were 100% right and it is worth every penny. I have an oblong seat and it fits perfect, doesn't move a bit. My son can sit on the seat, hold the sides and feels very comfortable with it. He even sits without me having to hold him in place and he does not freak out because he feels safe and secure. Another key point to make is the pee guard for him is the best. It is high enough so he doesn't pee all over and its not so obnoxious that my daughter can sit comfortably also. I can honestly say for anyone looking to buy a great seat and unsure which to pick this is the one. Seriously. And it even comes with a handy hook to put on the side of the toilet and you don't have to find a spot to stash the seat not to mention it is right there when you need it. I can't believe I am so passionate about a potty seat but those reading this will get it because you my friends are in the same boat as me haha.
