Great Camera! Portable with high quality pictures
We recently went on our honeymoon, and I was in the market for a new digital camera, as I was worried about dropping my phone. This camera is phenomenal- it takes incredible pictures, but still fits easily in my pocket. I used it with a 64gb card, and maybe filled it up a quarter of the way with about 2000 pictures. I know a few people who have been pick-pocketed during vacation, so I wanted a way to be able to quickly offload the images. The wi-fi feature was phenomenal, I was able to upload the pictures every night to keep a copy in the cloud. Can't recommend this camera enough!

Took some getting used to, but is great
I love this camera. I think we had to adjust to each other (not saying a friend can't just pick it up & use it); at 1st the auto focus used to jump around & then the pics would be blurry. Now it adjusts quickly & seamlessly. The zoom is awesome for a point & shoot. I took a picture of a small bird in my neighbor's tree at 100x zoom & it turned out crystal clear!

I love Canon. This camera is very easy to use ...
Bought this camera for my wife. I have previously owned 4 other Canon cameras. I love Canon. This camera is very easy to use in point and shoot mode. Very simple operation, just turn it on and shoot. It powers up and is ready to shoot in just 2-3 seconds. My pocket Nikon probably takes 20 seconds to start up causing some great shots to be missed. The zoom lense on this camera is incredibly powerful for a pocket camera. You do not need digital zoom which I disabled for improved clarity. Absolutely love it. So does the wifey. She wont let me use it. Lol.

Big camera quality in a small package!
This camera is my latest in a past series of pocket size cameras from Canon. I've been satisfied with every one. This camera can be fully automatic (which is of no interest to me), or can be adjusted in many ways. The printed manual is quite good, and the easily downloadable online manual is wonderful. I adjusted many things to my way of taking pictures, and couldn't be more satisfied. This camera, obviously, can't compete with my Canon Rebel T6S, but the Rebel can't fit in my pocket, and it costs much more. The other night the moon was at about 90%, and I didn't have my Rebel with me. I braced myself, zoomed out to the full limit, and was able to get a pretty detailed image of the moon to share with my friends. Yesterday, we did a few selfies, and the detail in our faces was remarkable. I imagine this camera is quite good being on full automatic, but with a bit of patience reading the manuals, I was able to produce a camera which takes care of a high percentage of my needs and wishes. Here are a couple of autumnal shots I took while walking around the neighborhood. I was also able to get some very good night shots recently of homes with elaborate Christmas lighting. I'll probably take a few thousand shots with this camera before looking for another small Canon.

Good Bang for the Buck
I bought this camera for a trip to Florida I did in July. I wanted something small, that took good quality images, and had a decent optical zoom lens. The Canon Power Shot did all these things. I used it all over Miami, the Everglades, and the Bahamas. It also has very good battery life. A lot of pocket cameras have poor battery endurance. Not this one. I only have one minor complaint about the camera. The buttons/controls are very small on the back. It makes it a little difficult to change settings. Canon could have reduced the sized of the screen and made the controls bigger. But I consider it a small inconvenience. It's still a great camera. And it's only a couple bills. It's a a good price for what you're getting.

Great traveling camera
Great traveling camera. Easy to carry in pant or shirt pocket. Only missing feature is a panorama mode. However, I overcame this by taking sequential overlapping shots and using stitching software to create a panorama shot. But this couldn't be done in the field in real-time to email to family and friends.

Loving it so far!
I have had this camera for a few weeks and have loved it so far! The zoom is great! My pictures have come out crystal clear, even when my kids are moving as I take them! It is certainly not a professional camera, I have one of those too, but is great for travel! I bought this camera primarily to take on vacations when my other camera is too big and bulky. The size of this one is perfect and the features are great for what I need! I have figured out how to post pictures to Facebook from the camera which is a cool little feature! My friends have all asked which camera I have after seeing those pics as they have come out so clear! So far I love this camera!

it's just that good. I used to drag around my NIKON DX ...
I would gladly pay $500 for this camera if I had to, it's just that good. I used to drag around my NIKON DX when inspecting homes, but after Hurricane Harvey hit my hometown, I decided I needed something a little more compact, durable, lighter yet good enough to provide me with HD quality photos in all conditions. I love the blue tooth capability considering I take on average about 250 photos a day while inspecting homes. The batter life is outstanding, and I have only noticed a drop in battery life since the temperature dropped to below 40 in the Houston area. Other than that, this camera is very easy to use, and feels very sturdy and well built for such a small camera. The camera is only 4" wide, which is great for carrying around, but if you have large hands or you are used to larger camera's, like NIKON DX's, it will take some time to get use to. Think of it like going from an iphone 7 plus back to an original iphone. Highly recommend purchasing this camera.

Great Camera to own.
Amazing picture quality on full auto. Even better setting it custom. Video is great too but I usually use my sports action camera for that anyway. One tip: never use digital zoom on any camera. Same goes for this one. I turn it off asap when I get cameras anyway. Enjoy; it's definitely worth it. If you want more optical zoom go for to sx720 with 40x, but grab a small tripod because shake free and "virtually" shake free are two very different things when shooting pictures lol

This camera never ceases to amaze me.
This camera never ceases to amaze me with outstanding features and quality. Wide screen or normal 4x3 aspect ratio for video as well as regular photographs is available in the 'settings.' I am a documentary photojournalist and occasionally I need to sneak a video segment in a location where I am not permitted as a professional videographer. I merely set the video to 4K and shoot. I look like a tourist merely shooting home movies or photographs. I was quite surprised when I incorporated a video scene shot with this camera into the edited footage shot with a $6,000.00 4K camera. It matched the other footage well enough that not one critical viewer noticed a change of cameras. I would not recommend using it to shoot an entire video for broadcast but for those hard to get situations it is really great.
