These cheaters are high quality. Included in the box was a tiny screw driver & black cleaning cloth. These cheaters (2.50 power) are way better than the ones offered at our local dollar store. Do yourself a favor and get these. Hinges have a spring which probably won't snap if hyper extended. My head is huge and the fit is excellent. These are damn good cheaters. Caveat: of the four, one is tinted for sunshine or outdoor use. Did not try those ... we'll see.

I've recently had to confront an aspect of getting older - my eyes aren't quite what they used to be. I read a lot for both work and for personal enjoyment. My eyes haven't deteriorated very much, but enough that it was very obvious when one of my coworkers had be try on his pair of low magnification reading glasses. I promptly bought a set for my self, but since they aren't something I wear constantly for normal use, keeping track of them got to be a pain. This multipack fit the bill. Yes, the lenses and frames are all plastic, but they do exactly what I need. I keep my "good" pair at work where I need them most, but these others are scattered between my car glove box, night stand by my bed, and my personal desk at home. I haven't had much use yet for the sunglasses, but it's nice to have the option if I want to sit outside when the weather is better and read a book or magazine. They are light weight and comfortable to wear. I've also found that I prefer this lower profile style as I don't need glasses to look at my computer monitors, so it's easier to position these so I can look through the glasses to read from a piece of paper and then look over them to read my computer screen.

I have ordered these a few times and continue to be happy with them. They last a reasonable amount of time before I replacement them - usually due to scratches that occur with normal use. I don't use the sunglasses set often, but it can be handy when sitting outside, on the beach or at the pool. They are fairly lightweight... I use the lowest strength - 1.00. I had lasik surgery... and as a result my regular sight is 20/20 and my reading strength dropped dramatically... I was usually the 2.00 before. In any case, I am sensitive to glasses that feel uncomfortable or heavy on my nose and these are very comfortable. In my opinion these glasses are definitely unisex... and are not flowery, bright or fancy in any way - all are slightly different color - but simple. They are truly what I would call "functional" in every way. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Ever since my eyesight drastically changed from a 20/20 to a I-can't-read-a-thing in my book or the monitor, I have become an ardent fan of low-cost reading glasses. I don't see the point paying the big bucks, especially since I would, sooner or later, sit or step on them any way. However, it has been a luck of the draw - sometimes you get what you pay for, or even less. That is why, I have to say, that I am impressed with these new glasses. I have had them for about a week and can describe some key assets that make them stand above the crowd of competitors. The frame feels sturdy, and the spring-hinges are robust and flexible. I like the fact that it is on the narrow side, which allows me to easily look into the distance above my glasses without having to take them off (fantastic while driving and checking waze/google maps at the same time, or going on a walk with the dog while checking out the latest news on the phone). The glass quality, although plastic, is really clear, and stains have come off quite easily so far with an all-purpose glass/screen cleaner (I use Screen Mom if anyone is looking for a good quality, natural cleaner that works for computer screens too). It may not earn the top ratings in the looks department, but a. it is not bad if you don't mind the narrow look, and b. reading glasses are a very pragmatic thing for me anyway, where function and comfort overrule style quite easily. All in all, great product that is exceeding the quality of others I have tried - and I have tried a lot.

To be honest, this was one of the best buys I have ever made on Amazon. Bold statement but true. You can't beat the price, and the quality was top notch and they look great. I've bought so many Foster Grants for $20+ each at airports and drug store just to lose them or have them fall apart 2 weeks later that I couldn't stand the thought of buying more. But I can't read without them, so they had become a necessary evil in my life. Then I found this deal on these Gamma Ray Readers and my life is changed. Not an exaggeration. I had a pair in the car, a pair in my bag, a pair at my desk, and a pair on the night stand. After several months I have only lost one pair - and since they only cost a couple bucks each - so what! The pair in my bag often ends up in my coat or jeans pocket and so far have held up perfectly. No issues at all. No bending or scratching. Also came with a nice note from the manufacturer so I felt that if I needed customer service I would get it. So - if you need reading glasses, and want somethings that is stylish, but not costly - these are what you want.

Here's the thing. I learned at an early age that you get what you pay for. I've learned at a later age that sometimes you get more than you pay for, especially on Amazon. This is one of those times. To be frank, I haven't always cleaned them the way I should. Sometimes my shirt, sometimes a paper towel (big no-no for plastic lenses). Months later and not a scratch to be found. I don't like the brown bottom pair, so they're my work and kitchen pair. Dropped repeatedly - not a scratch to be found. The best thing about these is the hinged arms. They flex in EVERY direction including up and down, so they fit level without those uncomfortable wired pad thingies, even on my warped up head. I WILL buy these again (at some point - they take a beating).

Four pairs of reading glasses for $11, so only $2.75 each. That is quite a bargain, especially when you consider the quality & stylishness. I think the lens are plastic, so lightweight, which is nice because my other reading glasses can feel heavy and leave marks on the bridge of my nose. The frames have springs in them, so they have plenty of give when you remove them. I broke two pair recently (another brand), that didn't have the springs, while removing them off my head, so I now look for springs in the frames. The seller also included a cleaning cloth and a small tool (tiny flathead screwdriver on one side & tiny Philips screwdriver on the other side) for repairing glasses when the screws in the hinges come out. That was a nice, thoughtful bonus, which I didn't expect for this low price. The glasses arrived safely in individual plastic bags in a cardboard box, so everything was fine. I do like the design of these reading glasses. I haven't seen any others anywhere like these. Very stylish & unique. Two tone and kind of an odd shape. The only downside is if you have a rather big melon-head like me, these glasses are a bit small. I kind of wondered if that might be the case. Not a problem, but something to be aware of. Overall, highly recommended.

Really high quality readers! I've used readers for 10 yrs, last year I bought the computer gamma ray glasses that block painful PC light so when my readers all recently broke, I saw these and decided to order. WOW! The clarity is super, even though the power is the same as my old glasses, these are way better! I see as well with these 1.50 power Gamma rays as I do upstairs with a 2.00 power pair of drugstore readers. I will be buying gamma ray readers for my husband and I in future!

I had Foster Grants wire frame glasses which were pretty good. They were 1.25, but they were always loose so I was always bending them and they finally broke. So I went on line and I seen four pair for $9.99. The Foster Grants were a little weak for my eyes, so I bought 4 of each strength and the 1.50 was perfect for me. My friend Ellen uses the 1.75, I also got 1.25's, 2.25's and 2.50's.I love these glasses because of the springs on the side things that go over your ears keep the glasses from moving even when you are bending over to look at something, You also get 3 different colors and a pair of sunglasses. Now I got 16 pairs, if anyone comes over and needs reading glasses I have them. I hope this helped. Rocky

I purchased these because of the reviews, but was a little skeptical since several people complained that they fell apart shortly after receiving them. At their current rate of less than $3 each, I was willing to give it a shot, and I am glad I did. I ordered 8 pair and could not be happier. I have them placed throughout the house cause I kept losing my last pair. These are built very well and have survived multiple drops from my head. They also include a slightly tinted pair, which works great when reading outdoors. I just ordered another 8 pair, but still have all 8 from my last order. UPDATE 2/2/2018: Just ordered another 4 pair and can't believe that the original one's I purchased are STILL going strong. Not a single pair has ever broken. Bow I have one at each table/coffee table in the house, one in the car, my travel case, camping gear, golf bag, bathroom, you name it and I probably have a pair there. So thankful that they built such an inexpensive, quality pair of glasses.
