Lifesaver

Great storage bag and follow up customer service. Here in Puerto Rico we were hit very hard by Hurricane Maria and tomorrow, Nov 20th 2017, we mark our 60th day without electric power in over 50% of the Island. After the hurricane we are having heavy rains and mosquitoes have thrived. The Aedes Aegipti carry Dengue, Zika and Chicungunya. Your Mosquito Net has been a lifesaver, probably literally.

We purchased 2 mosquito nets and we love them.

We have a Tentsile Trillium hammock in our backyard and we wanted a big nice mosquito net. We have the Timbuktoo mosquito net hung from light-weight chain off of a tree branch. It came with a hook and a carbiner and small adjustable cord that resembles paracord. We are using the carbiner for this application. We are using clothes pins to clip the netting to the edge of this hammock which is a 13.5 foot triangle on all sides. We have material hanging down on all sides so this netting is generous in size. We like the finish-work edging and it is very nicely made. Since this is netting we know to be gentle with it and we are careful not to snag the material. We also bring the nets in at the end of the day. Our second Timbuktoo netting hangs from the beam of the pergola to surround an Eno hammock. It is a little big (okay, a lot big) for this particular application but the kid in the hammock loves it. It not only works to keep the bugs off of her but works as a sunshade as well. This is a very nice looking, soft, mosquito netting, with nice spread of the fabric. The netting came packaged neatly it its own travel bag. I have not tried to put it back in the bag yet. I suspect it might take a minute to learn how to get it back in the bag. This would be great to take on vacations and such. The bag would fit neatly in a suitcase. I would not hesitate to hang this from a ceiling and surround a bed with it. It would look lovely and it should fit beautifully since it went around our big hammock. I would treat it kindly though as the netting is a fine close weave. If I would hang it in a kids room I would explain that it isnt to be swung on tarzan-style. When we laid in our hammock we could see the mosquitos flying around the fabric looking for a way in and it protected us very well all evening. Later, when a gap in the netting was created due to kids moving around in the hammock it was very easy to see the mosquito against the backdrop of the white netting bobbing around in there with us and we could kill it easily before getting bitten. We think the Timbuktoo Mosquito Nets are a success for our application.

I purchased this for my granddauther to hang over her bed. I also purchased fairy lights that hang with the netting so that it would look not so much like a mosquito net but more like a room decor feature. The netting is fairly sturdy and fine enough that it keeps most bugs out (they live in Florida). It drapes beautifully and she loves it! It is large enough to fit over a king size bed though she has a single. The netting was easy to install with a simple hook in the ceiling. We did find a ceiling stud to put the hook in so no fear of it pulling through just sheetrock. This is a nice product and would recommend it to anyone who was looking for one.

We purchased this to protect our bed from stinkbugs. We were tired of sleeping in fear as the bugs flew around the room. This covers our king size bed and has two openings. One on each side for easy access. We just have to pull it back and tuck it behind the headboard when we make our bed because we have two dogs and one cat that jump on the bed. As long as we tuck it behind the headboard the pets do not get caught in the netting. It attached easily to the ceiling and we were careful to position it away from our ceiling fan. Does a great job as a barrier to those rotten stink bugs.

Great buy!

Purchased 2 nets and am so pleased with them. I have a Californian King bed and I thought the net wouldn't fit properly, however, adjusting the height, the net covers the entire bed and still drapes to the floor. Perfect! Ease of access from both sides is wonderful - especially in the middle of the night trying to get out of the bed, half asleep! Does come with a hook to hang above the bed - suggest a stronger hook perhaps? Have replaced mine. In our climate in summer, the weather is super hot so love to sleep with no blankets or sheets with windows wide open and have had to spray my room to get out annoying mosquitos / bugs, then stay out of my room to not breathe the chemicals! With the net, oh... bliss. I don;t even care about the bugs, or trying not to turn the light on so they don;t come in my room. Love it! So pleased with my purchase.

BEAUTIFUL

This canopy looks BEYOND AMAZING over my bed. I love that it has the ribbon accent to it. It also stays up at night. I just push it out of the way so I don’t roll over it ! But it is quite large so I’m sure it would fit over a king size bed just as well. My bed is a full size. I also included the size of hole it leaves if you end up moving it. If you’re installing alone, I recommend screwing the piece in just a tad and hanging the canopy to see if it’s the right place before screwing it in all of the way.

Balcony view with new mosquito net

Finally got the mosquito net up for summer. The carabiner clip is part of the kit and made it easier to hang. Best thing is that I can see clearly through the net, since the mesh is so fine, I am able to enjoy my balcony view. Plus, keeps the buzzing bugs away.

The net is great!! We live on an island and I actually bought it more for lizards than mosquitos -- the little things climb onto my bed at night sometimes, and freak me out a bit. I don't mind the lizards, it's just not the sort of thing you want to be woken by. It was very easy to put up and I love the two entries -- they make it much more usable than a single entry would be. We have a king sized bed and it fits perfectly. The finished edging is great, too, as it helps it remain in place. No more lizards on my bed at night nor any mosquitos -- which we do have enough of, being an island. I will be buying another one for our other bedroom, and we're even thinking about taking a smaller one to the beach with us. Good call. Very happy w/our purchase.

Feel like a princess, get this canopy!

I am not a handy person, but this canopy was very easy to install! It's very light weight and comes with a portable storage case. It's a very simple and clean canopy, of good quality. The "mosquito net" quality initially made me wary: however, it's a very fine netting that still looks elegant. I have lights hanging behind my bed, and the canopy in front of them creates a subtle and soft glow. I love this canopy, and 100% recommend it!
