Great for the office!
Bought for the office over a year a ago. It's been making 1-2 pots every day M-F. I picked it out because it took the large "bucket" style filters (which are cheap!), and because the opening in the top of the glass carafe was big enough to fit my hand in to clean it. Auto shutoff works great too. We buy 5lb bags of Starbucks and grind the beans fresh one pot at a time, so we're moderately discriminating in our tastes.

This Mr. Coffee works GREAT!
This Mr. Coffee replaces a BRAND NEW Black & Decker coffeemaker, which replaced a 33-year-old Mr. Coffee coffeemaker that finally bit the dust. (The Black & Decker coffeemaker never completely emptied the water reservoir when it brewed a pot of coffee -- it always left a cup and a half behind. I discovered this when I brewed my second pot of coffee -- and had a cup and a half of water overflow from the reservoir onto my kitchen countertop. Brewed several more pots with the same results: 12 cups of water IN, 10-1/2 cups of coffee OUT. The engineer in me cannot overlook this egregious defect.) Anyway, this replacement Mr. Coffee coffeemaker works GREAT! I've only brewed five (always full) pots of coffee so far, so I can't attest to the coffeemaker's durability. But the coffee tastes good, and all the controls work perfectly and just as described.

Definitely satisfied with it!
Been using this bad boy for about a month now, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. My last coffee maker was second hand gifted to me, and had lasted YEARS in my possession. It was time for a replacement, and I am completely content with my new coffee maker. The user interface is fairly easy to navigate, and the programmable delay brew option is PREFECT for my early mornings. Would purchase again if needed.

Look Ma No Drips!
I bought this to replace the same model that had stopped working. It lasted long enough that I thought it was worth re-ordering. On my first pour I noticed a fix to what I had considered a maddening flaw. I could not pour the last one slow enough to make it not spill. The design of the lip was just somehow wrong. I had taken to just pouring my cup standing over the sink. On my first pour with this new pot and everyone since, I am delighted that this issue has been resolved.

Second purchase....
I bought this coffee maker years ago in red, and decided to get another one when too many grounds were getting in the pot. This is an excellent coffee maker for the money. Timer always works. We keep it set to strong, and always make a full pot. Be careful with how much water you put in! Even though there are slots in the back so the water doesn't get too high (it runs out the back) it's still possible to put too much water in so it overflows the pot. I don't like that I have to purchase filters on top of the coffee filters, but it's a small thing.

We love this coffee maker!
We LOVE this coffee maker! We had a keurig that gave out on us, so we got this. We like having the option of coffee strength! And we like being able to program it so that the coffee is ready when we get up. We won’t go back to the keurig. Oh, it doesn’t come with a reusable basket for coffee grinds, so you’ll need to get one. If this review is helpful please hit the helpful button.

Good machine.
Very nice coffee maker with water filtration filters I use mine with MR. Coffee reusable gold filter. I brew a pot and later clean out filter and don’t have a issue. Comes in plain brown mr coffee box not in retail box as shown. The other reviews with overflows look like they have either to much coffee in filter or they are reusing one time use paper filters that are clogged with to much or old coffee grounds.

Lovely Machine of Dreams
There are a lot of fancy coffee pots out there, but this one does just what I need it to do; make coffee. I have a Keurig, but the cups are really expensive and the coffee comes out tasting weak, anyway. I just wanted an old fashioned, pour hot water over ground beans coffee pot. My husband bought me this one because I can set the timer at night so that I have a fresh pot ready for me in the morning. That's one of the best feelings, ever. Both that he cares about that sort of thing and the smell of fresh coffee in the morning. We bought ours in March and brew one or two pots a day. So far so good.

Great Product!
I’ve waited about three months to review this coffee maker. I really like it! I brew about 4 “cups” at a time (I think one cup is about 6oz?) and it brews in less than 5 minutes. The biggest reasons I picked this coffee maker out of the dozens I looked at and read reviews for were because it’s programmable, it’s Mr. Coffee brand and it has an auto shut-off. Plus the reviews are pretty good. Once I learned to make sure the basket was in correctly, I was golden! (There was one morning right after purchase that I brewed coffee right into my counter, but that was definitely user error—check out my photos to see how to place the basket in the top.) The “back” label on the basket is hard to see, I didn’t notice it until a couple days in! My only big “complaint” is that I don’t taste a noticeable difference in the “strong” brew strength. I also notice it doesn’t brew less, so I’m not sure how it’s considered stronger. My favorite features after using it every morning for about three months is the programmable feature, the auto shut off (though I wish it was more like 3 hours and not 2), the pause to pour (pauses mid brew when you pull out the carafe), the digital display and the quick brew time. I wish the clock were back lit but that’s not a deal breaker. I would buy this again as long as it lasts! And I’ll come back to update my review if something changes!

Great even for coffee snobs
We are coffee snobs, to be sure, and usually use a cone-filter coffee maker. But when the coffee maker busted after just one year and I realized that was the trend for the last three fancy-brand coffee makers, we decided to give Mr. Coffee a try. It is excellent! Makes great coffee, the timer works well, and my favorite feature is that this design keeps the coffee warmer for a longer time.
