Lovely colors and work great

I really wanted colored ones so I could easily tell which cables where which. They work perfectly and they feel sturdy, I prefer a rough feeling over soft, I feel like the latter doesn't have a good grip. So this is just what I needed.

Exactly as advertised

I use these to keep my various computer cords organized. These are good for smaller and shorter cables. A larger diameter cable or anything over about 8 feet (2.4 meters) is too bulky for these to hold well. For instance, the computer power supply for my laptop has a large wall cable and a smaller cable from the power supply to the computer. Both are about the same length, 6 feet/1.85 meters. These work fine for the smaller computer cable, but the larger wall cable needs about a 9 inch double-sided strap. You can fit this around both, but there's only a little more than an inch of connection on the larger cable, and the grip sometimes comes loose. These are ideal for phone charging cords and similar items. They hold well and are not too bulky once in place. The different colors are useful if you want to "catalog" the cables, but I have only about three cables where I match the color with the function.

Great quality, Great Value

I bought the 50 pk., 5 pieces of each color (black, red, yellow, blue and green). For the same amount of money, others are selling half the quantity. Also, these are a great value because they are well made, durable, and easy to use. Multiple colors are useful for color coding (see below). If color bothers you, as it did me at first--I wanted all black, know that when the velcro is wrapped around the cord, the color is not as obvious because it is not as visible. The velcro material is super soft and the velcro loops are not sharp. Velcro pieces are well manufactured so there are no sharp edges and are cleanly and precisely shaped (no random manufacturing marks, no hanging pieces, no mishapen pieces). The velcro adheres easily to itself (which surprisingly is not true of all velcro). I have been using these for everything from organizing cords to attaching things to a wheelchair and more. HINT: First attach the velcro piece onto the cord (loop the tail around the cord and pull the tail through the hole, then wrap the velcro tail around one complete time to securely attach it to the cord) and then wrap the velcro tail around the organized cord. If the velcro is unwrapped, it will still stay attached to the cord, which is helpful if multiple cords are unwrapped at the same time. HINT: They can be used to color code items for easier reference. Place the same color velcro on each end of the same cord of, for example, a DVD player, one near the back of the DVD and one at the opposite end of the cord, presumaby near the plug. Since the DVD player is now identified by blue velcro, when you go to the (hopefully now organized) cords at the surge protector, you can easily identify the DVD cord because it is identified by blue velcro. If you don't want to use 2 full pieces of velcro for identification, simply cut a small piece of velcro off of a velcro tail and superglue it onto the cord at the back of the device and use the remainder of the velcro piece on the other end, presumably near the plug, to organize the cord.
