Works as expected.

So far, I have only tested this for US products and USB devices being used in the US (tested at home to be sure that it worked) and in Italy/Spain. Everything worked as expected, though the plug was a bit hard to insert at times. I will test it in Thailand this coming winter. If it fails, I will return to edit this review. Otherwise, you can assume it successfully functioned.

This thing is great! I am from.America, and I bought this converter for a trip to Spain and France. It was perfect- small, one simple piece (no parts to loose accidentally) and with extra usb ports and one full plug! I was able to fast charge my phone with it's actual charger plugged in, as well as hook up a friend's phone and portable charger. Worked superbly, and when i forgot it on one of the outtings, i didn't really like the different one a friend had bought at Target- neither did they.

I love this charger, would definitely recommend it to any who travels, especially in Europe. Its great cuase I can charge my apple watch and Iphone at the same time wake up and evrything is good to go. I just honestly use it for the USB slots on the side, but you can plug something into the front and use it. The only downside to this is the European plug is the hardest one to get out if you dont have finger nails. Like I use keys to get it out and for me the Europe plug is the most used one. All-in-all though very good would recommend.

Does the job

Initially I rated this as 1 star as I thought that I needed to have angled prongs for Thailand, although I did not end up needing them since all places we stayed at had US prongs, and now I read that the angled prong adapter is never needed in Thailand. I also could not get it to work in UAE because I did not realize that I had to retract the third prong by hand in addition to using the knob, must have been tired. In summary, I had no reason to be unhappy with this product, it does the job.

Useful tool when you are traveling like I do!

Since I got a new job which requires 50%+ of traveling, therefore this little gadget would be super beneficial to me. This plug has all you need when you are on the go and anywhere you go, this can serve you very well! I’m really glad to get this universal plug. The plug is quality made too, it’s not a cheaply made item!

Great choice

Had to get some last minute supplies for a trip to Europe from NYC. Ordered this and it came on time (pretty quick). This product is easy to use and also includes a USB slot to make my charging life easier for things like a smartphone. It even came with basic instructions. Even without instructions I was able to figure out the proper slots to use. I like that it's compact and has different types of plugs.

So great to use!! Has been working wonderful for me in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. Will be taking it Southeast Asia later this year and Europe next. Lightweight and smallest adapter I’ve seen.

A good all-in-one charger

I received my NEWVANGA Travel adapter in anticipation of a trip overseas. I haven't gotten a chance to try it outside of the US yet, but I have tried it around my house. I've been charging my iPhone and iPad off of it at the same time and it's held up well. It doesn't get too hot while charging and the USB ports area nice added touch so that you can charge more devices off it at one time. The adapters on the back of the unit seem pretty solid. I'll get a chance to give them a whirl once I take my trip, but so far, the US prongs work well. I'll continue to use this adapter at home even when I'm not travelling as a good power adapter to charge my devices.

Works great in Europe and USA

I bought one of these for a trip to Europe. We used it in Greece and Ireland (2 different plug types) without any problems. I really liked how I could plug my cell phone cord into it so I didn't have to carry around the plug for the cell phone. My husband has also taken this to the Republic of Georgia. He had no problems there either. We currently have guests from Russia visiting us, and they brought their hair dryer with them but no adapter. We were able to plug this in a standard US outlet so they could use their hair dryer (even though I offered them my own). I ordered another one of these too give them when they go on the next leg of their vacation.

Two USB ports a super bonus!

Bought for a trip to Ireland from the US. Worked great. Having the two USB ports on the side was a great benefit. My wife and I were able to plug in our phones and then use the main port for charging the laptop or camera batteries. Doesn't down-regulate voltage but that is clearly spelled out on the vendor page. Nearly all modern manufacturers of electronic equipment are completely voltage agnostic so that didn't matter to me. Obviously if you are using a motor induction type of appliance and expecting this to work on higher voltage systems, you've been warned!
