Subtle, Wonderful Flavor....

Once you go pink, you'll never go back! I never realized that regular salt was so harsh until I tried pink salt. The flavor is mild and subtle. It takes more to achieve the same "saltiness", so there is less room for error (over-salting). I use this stuff in everything and it makes everything I prepare taste better. People comment on the flavor all the time.

Large crystals and resealable pouch.

Salt is salt. But this product has pink crystals mixed in with the white and makes it a bit unique. Also the crystals are a bit larger than what I find in stores and they grind easy and to whatever coarse level you set the product on. The pouch that it comes in is also resealable. This is an excellent value purchase.

This is an amazing amount of course pink for the price

This is an amazing amount of course pink for the price. At Savory spice shop it would've costed me 100.00 to order this much. Amazon is awesome, the other guys pirates!!! Plus the other guys gave me a really cheap bag, it's like a junky sandwich bag. These are nice heavy duty bags, both are resealable but these have the nice zips, the other had one of those VERY tiny zip lines you mess around with for 5 minutes.

I know it's wrong.

It's definitely a bummer to pay for a product mined by slave and child labor. It's just the way it is. No matter what brand you buy, there are no himalayan salt mining operations that don't violate these basic labor rights. Sea salt is contaminated with plastic. This salt contains properties vital to human health and sorely lacking in the western diet. I must be selfish and choose the best for my family's health. I am deeply sorry for participating in this, no matter how tiny my part.

Great Salt!! Amazing flavor!

I absolutely love this salt. It is advertised as pink Himalayan salt. It is definitely pink (or so my wife tells me...I am color blind) and it is salty although not as salty as table salt or kosher salt. It is a milder salt and has a very slight hint of something else I can’t quite pin point. This salt has turned me into a bit of a salt snob. I sometimes carry a small amount in a small baggie so I can have it while at work or traveling. I love this and will use it forever. Or until my cardiologist makes me stop.

Perfect Size and Color

Love this salt. I've ordered salt before and gotten a mix of very large and fine salt granules. These are the perfect size for my grinder. The salt has a very pleasant taste and color. I will definitely get this the next time.

Freshness of Himalayan Salt

I like it because it was fresh and has a crisp taste. It taste wonderful on soft boil eggs, any kind of salads. I especially enjoyed it on broiled New York Strip steak. I don't have to use much. Now with kernel popcorn popped, with little butter and a little Himalayan salt ~ wow, it's so good.

I wanted to try Himalayan Pink kosher salt. I had some at a chef friend's house and really liked the distinctive flavor. I have high blood pressure and have an iron-clad NO SALT in cooking policy in my kitchen, both my cooking and my hubbies, since he has mostly taken over the cooking since retiring! I have spent the past 40 years perfecting the ability to cook without salt and still have delicious foods, palatable to all! I do use table salt; in fact I adore salt! I crave salt! Hence, I wanted to experience this salt. This was the best buy with the best reviews on this site. I am glad I bought this and read all the reviews! This is a fabulous buy for the quality of this product!!! It is very course and packaged well in a re-zipable package. It is very clean and fresh! It tastes divine! I put it into a pepper grinder and grind as needed! I indulge myself in a tad of this as needed at the table. It is very potent; a tiny bit will do the job!!! Please be aware of this! It is much stronger than any other salts, so a tiny bit does the trick! I highly recommend this product and this seller; great service and product!

Great Quality

This bag lasts a while! I made this purchase about two months ago and have yet to refill my shaker! (we have a family of 4 and dont hold back the salt!) Doesn't dissolve quickly (as it shouldnt). I've also added this to essential oil room sprays. I will definitely purchase again, whenever this bag runs out!

Fantastic product

I have used this product to make a sole. Sole, when prepared properly, contains over 80 trace minerals that the human body is craving in today's fast-food world. Even eating 5-10 servings of produce daily is not enough, since the soil has been so badly depleted of minerals. Sole will help you tremendously, on the inside as well as the outside. Better to pay the grocer than the doctor.
