This thing saved me a heck of a lot of time. Works wonders especially when you buy those oversized privacy screens and you need to add grommets.

Great addition to my toolbox

This is really a handy tool, repaired a vinyl sign same day I recieved tool and grommets, worked great. Wish I'd had one years ago, would have saved me some work!

Absolutely love this item! This is designed for more of a heavy duty use. I have used it for a ton of towels and it is perfect. Two items I have noticed that are relevant no matter what Grommet Punch you use. You must match the grommet size to the project and pay close attention to the hole size you create to insert the grommet. I have had a great experience making the hole a bit small and stretching it over the post. Too big it will fall out and too small the grommet will have fabric over the hole. You are in control of the pressure and you must press hard, the user is bending two pieces of metal, I tend to press the base of the handle against a hard surface while I am squeezing the handle. I was able to feel the grommet set in to each other, almost a clicking feeling.

Great tool for grommets.

This is the best tool for punching as well as putting the grommet on.It beat the old system which is manual.put grommets on a 40 foot tarp in about q hour and thirty minutes.38 grommets in all..

Works well!

This is a good tool - especially for the money. It works well. I used it on "coroplast" material - the corogated plastic material political yard signs are printed on. The grommets punch through the material, so it was a once step process to install the grommets. One other point - A few early reviewers stated that the included grommets did not include both sides (they were missing the "washers". I got both sides of the grommets. Honestly, at the price, you can't ask anything more. If you are using it for a commercial application, you obviously want a bench-mounted tool with a lever. For anything else, I strongly recommend this tool.

Must have

Absolutely awesome! I've used grommets before, but always did it with a hammer and all. Never again! This tool is great! I put homemade skirting around our RV this fall, and this tool made it so much faster.

Good, sturdy product

Good, sturdy product. It's punched 500 grommets so far. (As an FYI for those who might be new to this sort of thing, these punches to do not punch holes in fabric. Be prepare to cut the whole by some other means before placing the grommet.)

Love, love, love this grommet punching tool. Perfect size, 3/8", and easy peasy to use! Exactly what I was looking for and had the hardest time finding! Highly recommend this product. Soooo much easier than the typical grommet tool kit that requires multiple steps and can't be done overhead, as I needed it to place grommets in canvas already hung up and couldn't get down.

Works very well

I wanted to add grommets to my decorative flags to hang them from the top rather than use a flag pole. Worked perfect. Well made.
