As described. It went together beautifully, all parts were included. My husband, who does all the construction here, keeps saying it is well engineered and was easy to put together. Because of the allen wrench it took 3 hours. He says that regular screws and screw drivers would have cut that time in half. I have it fully extended in my sewing room and it is great. Thanks for a well made product.

I did a fair amount of research before I bought this table, and I bought it from US Amazon even though Iive in Canada because even with exchange and potential duties, it was still cheaper than buying it on Canadian Amazon. (Lucky me the border dudes never even blinked and waved me through! I ordered the table very late at night on Nov. 7th, and it arrived at my parcel receiving depot just over the border in Washington State today...November 10th...without Prime and with free shipping!!! I dropped everything to go and get it. Thanks to your reviews I was careful to inspect the parcel for damage. A corner of the box was ripped but I couldn't feel any damage to the tabletops so I brought it home. I did take photos at the receiving depot just in case. A word of caution: this sucker is heavy. If you have any back or muscle issues, please get help loading and unloading. After my husband hauled it up two flights of stairs into my craft room, I was pleased to discover that the manufacturer seems to have taken all your concerns about damage to heart and protected the contents with large chunks of styrofoam and reinforced the corners with rigid board. It took me an hour-and-half to assemble it on my own, but only because I had to take time to dig out my diamond file to try to remove a burr on a receiving thread for one of the legs. A little elbow grease and I got it. ( Waiting for a replacement was not an option!) Instructions are straightforward, half the parts were shrink wrapped to a board and clearly numbered accordingly as per the instruction sheet (the other half was a big bag of same size screws) so there was no issue identifying what went where. I would highly recommend the use of a drill to install the thirty-six baby screws required to connect the table top pieces. This is one awesome table, solid and heavy as a rock, and very stable. The only suggestion I would made to the manufacturer is regarding the wheels, which is to wrap the hard plastic rollers with rubber to protect hardwood floors and to facilitate smoother rolling. So far I don't see any floor scratches but I might be concerned if I use it for years and there is wear on the rollers. Then again, if I get a good ten years out of it and have to visit my local hardware store, so be it. All in all, I'm exceptionally pleased with this product, and quite delighted that I took a chance on it. And come Christmas dinner, I have room for some strays.

The sewing machine platform is easy to adjust. The drawers are woven cloth like material and have covered cardboard bottoms that you insert. These also have a tab attached for easy removal. I don't recommend you put anything heavy in them. I put just a few light items in them I need for sewing. I put a few small trays I use for sewing items in the small shelf under the adjustable shelf. It is easy to slide around if need be. It does provide extra room for quilting or large items that you sew. For the price, I'm very happy with it. It didn't take a long time to put together and the instructions were very straight forward and easy to follow. The screws were sealed on a cardboard holder and numbered. They even put plastic shims in most of the holes making the screws more stable and thereby making the product more stable. They even supplied an allen wrench for those. Some of those screws also have bolts. You get a boxed end wrench for those. The bottom feet are large and they screw in. They are rubber and easy to grip. They are adjustable to about an inch out. The black parts are metal with smudge proof paint. The left side addition is easy to raise and lower and it provides needed extra space for sewing. My husband was happy with the directions, parts and supplies. I'm happy with having an adjustable sewing table that looks good and is good quality.

The table is very sturdy with storage. Assembly was easy and Studio supplies all tools except the Phillips head screwdriver you'll need to do the zillion screws that connect the side extensions. A drill would be easier but be very very careful. This is heavy duty coated particle board which means...it's chipped wood, to much pressure could cause the area around the hole to crack rendering to big to hold the screw. Joann's Fabric sells a flimsier one with no storage and no adjustment on the height for $298.00 and yes people actually pay that because it is often not on sale and disallowed from coupon assistance. I had one and it would tip over when long heavier fabrics hung from it. I am sure this one won't do that. Happy crafting y'all!

Can without one of the wheels but one phone call and a full package of wheels arrived in 2 days. Otherwise, and this table is exactly as advertised. I love it for my sewing room. Lots of space when I need it and it folds up nicely against the wall when I don't.

Nice and sturdy, but a little time consuming to put it together. It's not difficult, just a little awkward trying to tighten and screw everything in. When assembling, I would recommend waiting until the fold down shelf is attached before flipping the unit upright as it a pain to try to attach it from underneath.. The drawers have a tendency to tilt down and once they're full, I can see myself probably spilling things. I'm fairly tall at 5'9", and I see that I will need to get a shorter task stool than I already have for this. I do love that the shelf can be raised or lowered easily. Mine arrived nicely packed with no damage at all. I consider this to be a good buy, and I'm glad I did it.

The wife is loving this so much, I had to order her a second one. Currently she's running her serger and hd singer a lot with batch work. The machines were doing a lot of bouncing on her tables, so I tried out one of these under her serger to see if the 1/2" mdf would be heavy enough... It was, she asked for another for the hd machine. These are highly capable tables, assembly was easy enough, just need a Phillips screwdriver, I'd avoid assembly with powered tools, it is only 1/2" MDF you're going into. The legs are sturdy steel and have threaded glider feet for levelling, and gliding across carpet when you want to move it. With the shelf at the bottom, there's no risk of knee bangs. Now, this is a crafting furniture, not an industrial work bench. For the moderate to light production work with a home heavy duty sewing machine this will do the job.

My wife has wanted a sewing table for a while, for her quilting work, but wanted one where the sewing machine would sit flush with the table. She has three different sewing machines, each with a different height requirement so this really fits the bill. Simple to put together, kudos to whoever came up with the idea of having all the screws in one blister type pack and numbered. You don't have to go searching for the right bolt. The table top is a textured plastic type laminate. (Think formica) The rest is particle board (ugh!) . Everything lines up as it should. The only additional tool needed is a Philips screwdriver. I did make one minor alteration; every threaded nut and bolt was treated to some blue Loctite thread locker. Since this table will see a lot of use, and I did not want anything to loosen up, I added the thread locker. I do not recommend the red, since you have to heat or impact the bolt off. Sturdy legs with adjustments to keep the table level. The drop down extension is handy and has an under table support. However they could have used better hinges. We will see what happens after some use.

I'm very pleased with this table. Mine arrived with no damage or even scratches so that problem has been resolved. Some of my parts were defective but I called Studio designs (they have a website) and they send me new parts. It's wonderful-no backache while cutting fabric! Folds up and I slide it over to the wall. I use the shelf underneath to put my rolled up cutting mat and the baskets for the current project I'm working on. Putting together was pretty easy, parts were labeled well. I thought I had all the parts but some had bad threads. I'd take it down a star or more but they sent me the parts and it's a perfect table for me. Worth the wait.

I recently bought two of these for my workrooms because I wanted something that folded just a little smaller than the similar Sullivan tables. So first of all, I paid US $123 per table. I think that is just *slightly* high for the quality of it. I would even go up to US$150 per table if I had to because I usually need multiples and like things to match, but I see them being sold on here for US$ 248 or more and that is insane for these guys. The frame of the tables is just a bit less robust than the Sullivan tables that have the same shape with two shelves instead of a shelf and a wire basket like these. The wheels are probably the smoothest operating that I have ever had on these kinds of tables. They glide across my workroom floors like nothing at all instead of the rattled chatter of other plastic wheels. The locks on two of the wheels are fine, but they still move a bit because the table itself is so lightweight. The basket drawers are held in place by very functional and straightforward brackets that, because of the way the table is assembled, can be adjusted for tension and ease of opening. I don't know that the baskets will be more than random catch-alls up here, but I can totally see them used for storage in a home sewing or crafting situation. The divot that holds the swinging leg in place is a nice touch. Instead of just being a bracket that stops it it is actually a kind of pin that sits into the swinging leg and holds it in place. That is nice. It came with all the pieces and hardware you need to assemble it, but they are really tight with any extras. With the quality of manufacturing here, there should really be one extra of each screw, bolt, and nubbin so that you don't have to improvise when threads aren't cut right or are out of whack otherwise. But they include *only* what you need, so if there is a problem *you* have to deal with it. I'm handy and have a workroom of parts and pieces, so it doesn't bother me, but I can totally imagine other people really finding it frustrating. The nicest thing about this for me is probably the color. The table top is a sharp white with just a bit of gloss and the body is a good grey and silver. Much better looking than the Sullivan tables or JoAnn's tables with similar configurations. I think if I were to recommend this to anyone, it would be for folks who have really tight spaces and still want to sew and craft. Otherwise, you will probably ultimately be happier with the Sullivan table rather than this one. But this one looks better and folds smaller, where that one is slightly larger folded and a little flat with its slightly off-white top and matte black finish on the frame. Either way, though, this really should't run more than US$150, so pay what you want, but more than that just seems really, really off for a table that is just *fine* and looks good but isn't particularly sturdy and durable.
