I actually bought this for my uncle, who was in the hospital and unable to speak. Specifically because of the large stylus and his arthritic hands. Sadly he passed before getting to use it. However, it has been adopted by his 12 y.o. grand-daughter. She uses it to doodle, work math problems, practice handwriting, etc. This comes on the heels of about 5 of the standard versions being in my family. I use mine to doodle and do math problems on. But the real workout comes from nieces children (5 and 3). They each have a board and use them fairly consistently for doodling. We've found them to be a handy little gadget.

I bought this to add to my collection of toys for grandkids and highly recommend it. Pros: the four drawing pencils are multi functional, they have different writing tips and transfer like designs on the sides The pens clip onto the corners and are self storing The colored background makes this more interesting than the black and white version I bought last year, marking it more fun to draw on This is light weight, it goes into my bag for restaurants This is so easy to use for a toddler Cons: none noted so far I will update my review if this product doesn't meet my expectations for durability As an online shopper I rely heavily on reviews left by others when trying to decide what to buy so I try to leave useful reviews for those products that I feel strongly about. Please let me know if you find my review helpful. Thanks so much

Just bought another one. Everytime my son gets invited to a birthday party where I don't know the child this is our go to gift. Everyone likes it. Just had to buy another one because my 2 year old lost his personal and he was fighting his older brother for his. They both love it. The two year old scribbles on it constantly and can clear it off himself. My 5 year old draws pictures, does math problems and like to write out his sight words to practice. First toy I pack for a road trip!

Great drawing tablet! I bought this one to replace a cheapo version I bought. I wish I had just paid the few extra bucks and bought this one to begin with! Bright colors and easy to see. The 4 writing styluses are chunky for little hands and fit nicely on the board. I kind of wish I could attach them to the board with a string or something, but they are large enough that I always end up finding them anyways. I would definitely recommend!

My two year old adores this. It keeps him busy for long periods of time. I like how easy it is to erase, because he can clear the whole board with the push of a button versus having to use an eraser, where he might miss spots. I thought the LCD might get damaged with him banging on it with the pencils occasionally, but it hasn’t. I recommend this product over other traveling drawing boards for little ones.

This thing is great. Got my 3 year old to drop the crayons, markers, and pens he's been writing on all my walls and furniture with. He loves erasing it almost as much as he enjoys drawing on it. The extra cover is nice for a little shock absorption on the corners but it's still not going to withstand someone stepping on it or bending it. The case does not increase the stiffness of the whole unit. My 8 year old loves using it too and will do math on it sometimes too.

My four year old loves this thing. We take it everywhere and everyone that sees it comments on how awesome it is and wants to know what it is and where they can get one (you're welcome). It really is so great! My daughter got the original boogie board but this one is so much cooler with the multiple colors and the different "pens" you can securely store on the board.

Great product for the toddler that loves to draw, easy to grip makers and colorful screen. Wither you child uses a I-pad or other touch screen product they pick up how to use the pad and reset mechanism. My Grandchildren love drawing on the pad, show you their work and then make it disappear, they think they're magician's. Great product , Grandparents tested and approved.

We've been using this for a couple days so far. I'll update my review if I notice any issues. So far it seems pretty durable. The yellow pens on the corners are just a little tough for my 2 year old to remove, but I'm sure they'll become easier with use. My 2 y/o takes this into restaurants and uses this in the car. It's nice to keep her entertained and the perfect size to be portable. It's incredibly lightweight. We've had fun trying different objects on the screen. So far, a plastic top has been the most entertaining. But she'll grab cups and plastic utensils... anything she can to see what kind of pattern it will make. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is a great product for in a car, airplane or anywhere you want your little one to be creative and not make a mess. We don't let our 3 year old use tablets or such, she will get enough exposure to consumer electronics over her lifetime, so this is a nice compromise. Our Boogie Board has kept working great, but we don't let leave it in the car to cook or let our daughter have unlimited access to it where she may get rough with it. The different colors really make this LCD writing board stand out, most others are just black and white.
