It was very good. I knew it would be good but I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted like homemade mac and cheese! I will buy it again.

Creamy and delicious

I liked this very much, its creamy and rich. I don't eat at cracker barrel but maybe I should. I recommend this.

Kids love it

This stuff is so creamy and good. My kids will gobble this all up when we make it. The packet of cheese is so good, they like to take it and squeeze it until every little last bit comes out. The flavor is sharp and very good. We continue to buy this.

OK..our entire family are hug fans of macaroni and cheese. For years I just cooked the Kraft in the blue box because with 5 kids....you have to be able to feed everyone and not break the bank!! I have my great grandmothers recipe for macaroni and cheese and it's the best there is...everyone I've ever made that recipe for...loves it and wants the recipe. In that recipe - it calls for Cracker Barrel Sharp White Cheddar Cheese, which if you've ever bought it - it's about $4.00 a block and you need at least 2 for the recipe. I was on Amazon looking for something, and this popped up as a recommendation. I decided to give it a try and got 2 boxes. I LOVE THIS MACARONI AND CHEESE!!!!! Now, I am so not a fan of the Velveeta mac and cheese...there's just something about it...to me it has no flavor. This Cracker Barrel Mac & Cheese definitely has flavor!! It's so easy to make...just boil water and cook the noodles, drain, then squeeze the cheese from the packet and you are ready! I've made this for my husband and 1 of our kids who lives for Mac & Cheese, and they just love it. Now we have the other flavors...just haven't tried them all yet. But they're all so good. My only complaint is this....I can't sit down and eat an entire box of Mac & Cheese by myself , so I usually have leftovers. Now my husband and son disagree with me...but I think it looses it's flavor. It is probably just me and my "flavor buds". It's not a deal breaker for me though...I will continue to buy Cracker Barrel brand Mac & Cheese!

Sticky, creamy goodness

I never thought I would review mac and cheese on Amazon, but this stuff is good! My friends joke that I'll try any kind I can find (true - even from a gas station deli!) and this is pretty good. The cheese sauce is think and creamy which is my preference. I also like the boxed kind versus the bag option where you "make" the cheese sauce (basically making a roux and then adding the cheese base). This version is just as good, less work, and doesn't require any fresh ingredients.

Way better then regular macaroni and cheese. Taste is great and the moms and dads will appreciate it over the regular KD

So far this is my favorite of all the "Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese kits" All the other ones, such as Kraft Dinner, and Velveeta just taste fake and/or are to sticky/thick. This has a great flavor and texture.

Best in-a-box mac & cheese

It ain't home baked mac & cheese, BUT it IS the BEST mac & cheese in a box. Add a little paco crumbs to the finished dish and it is pretty good!
