Nice product, bad packaging?

Normally I don't bang a product because of its packaging but with this one, packaging is important due to the shell's fragility. Maybe I got a returned set - two sets came in bubble-wrap and one was wrapped in some sort of cellophane - shells loose and banging around in the box. Anyway one of the shells was cracked (only really needed 10 so I'm not returning them). Good news is these are really nice shells and very uniform in size. All were just about 4" wide and have very nice color. Would buy again in a heartbeat, but would probably buy extras in case of breakage. I'm giving it 5 stars because the odd set probably wasn't in its original package. Would recommend to friends and family.

I ordered these shells for a project I was working on. I am using them to make trinket dishes. They have worked beautifully for my purposes. I am very happy with my purchase.

On the smaller side

These are big shells for cooking however if you are going to use them as a bra as I did for a costume, you'll need to glue them together to make a cup. They have very very large lion paw shells at hobby lobby that I found for around the same price.

Nice size and Quality

These are really pretty and a nice size for our deviled crab recipe. They are easy to clean after baking in the oven.

I use these for making candles and have had a really hard time finding shells that are fairly consistent in size. These do the job every time! I haven't actually cooked with these, but the old up in the oven when melting wax, so I anticipate baking would work well too.

Beautiful & Good Quality

Bought these for my step daughter, who loves the ocean. She used some for her fish tank, and they stood up well. Looked very beautiful with the fish. She used the rest to paint on, using one as a "I love Daddy" shell to give to my husband for Christmas. They were a good size and a good thickness. I wasn't worried about her breaking them easily. They arrived in great condition. I don't eat seafood, but would definitely use these for a nice seafood dish when entertaining. Would buy again!

Absolutely beautiful!

I'm using these for crafts not food. They are exactly what I've been looking for!! They are barely smaller than my hands and they are very sturdy. It'd be hard to break them on accident.
