- A MUST HAVE TO MAINTAIN NATURAL TROPICAL HABITAT FOR BETTA --- In nature, betta fish are often found in warm and hot waters in low altitude areas such as Burma and Thailand. For the healthiest and most active betta, it is important that their environment be as close as possible to their natural habitat. Since betta are accustomed to consistent tropical temperatures, having an effective betta thermometer is essential to ensure the perfect temperature for your pet fish.
- EASILY MONITOR YOUR BETTA TANK WATER TEMPERATURE --- When it comes to monitor the water temperature of your betta tank, the most useful tool you can find is an aquarium thermometer. Don’t let your betta tell you it’s too cold or hot in the tank for them, by getting ill, and risk losing them. The cost-effective, Peel & Stick Betta Thermometer by SunGrow quickly tells you the temperature at a quick glance any time, so that you can make potentially life saving adjustments to your betta tank water.
- SIMPLE, PRACTICAL, EASY TO READ & SETUP --- Designed to be simple to read and easy to attach (just peel and stick), the paper thin 5.2” tall by 0.7” wide (13cm x 1.8cm), SunGrow Betta Thermometer is all black with the temperature measurements written in white. Using color indication, the water temperature that the thermometer reads will change to a blue color on the measurement scale. The measurement range is 64-93 degrees Fahrenheit or 18-34 degrees Celsius.
- HELPS PROTECT BETTA FROM DISEASES LIKE FUR COAT SYNDROME --- As they are so sensitive to water temperature changes, betta are particularly susceptible to diseases such as Fur Coat Syndrome. It is a dermal bacterial infection that discolors betta’s fins and covers your fish in a furry mold. Fur Coat Syndrome is nearly always fatal within 30 hrs of symptoms showing and is highly contagious. However, this disease is easily prevented if you keep your betta’s water between 78° to 80° Fahrenheit.

Easy to use, blends in nicely
This thermometer is easy to apply to the outside of your aquarium or fishbowl. I tested it with another thermometer on the inside and it reads accurate.

Accurate readings and simple!!
Reads really accurate temperature. The correct temp is the color blue. This sticker is in the back corner so I sometimes need a bright light to read the correct temp but it's great.

Hard to read, but works wonderfully!!
Ok so I read all of the reviews on this thermometer and I have answers lol. To make a long story short, I purchased this to stick on my glass fish bowl that I have my Betta in. I recently had to purchase a heater for the tank because my Gregory’s water was way too cold now that we’re in winter. In order to see if my new little heater was working, of course I had to purchase a thermometer. I chose this one because it sticks on the outside of the tank and with the numbers being so big, I could easily read it..... or so I thought. Yes, all the reviews that say it’s hard to read, I 100% agree with that statement, it’s really hard to read. You need a nice bright light to make it out and the color isn’t as vibrant as the picture is. If you’re not in the right kind of light... you won’t be able to see the color. The picture I took was with my kitchen door open and lots of natural light is steaming through. You can clearly see it’s at 78* going into 80*. That is another issue I’d like to address, a few reviews said their thermometers were registering a few different colors. Yes, it does that. Because I had to closely watch my thermometer, I paid attention to the process. When I first put my sticker on, it read 64*! Crazy cold for my Gregory!! Like crazy cold! Then it slowly went to 68. When it’s approaching the next temperature it’ll look red.. then it turns sort of green.. once it hits the accurate temp... it’ll turn blue. It’ll keep doing this as the water temp raises. It took ( no joke ) 4 hours to get my tank from 64* to 80*!!! Well worth the wait. Not only did I KNOW my new heater was doing it’s job, but I got to watch the whole process as the temp climbed from one to the next! The ideal temp for a betta is 78-80*. Once my tank hit 76, I placed my Betta back in his tank. The poor thing was in a separate bowl in tepid water ( that I had to maintain ) for 4 hours, waiting for his habitat to be comfortable for him to return!!! I’m very satisfied with this stick on thermometer.. as long as you have bright light, you can easily read it... if you don’t.. you’ll think it’s not working properly, but it is... shine a flashlight on it.. you’ll see. I placed mine on the curved side of the tank with no problems. No bubbles.. perfect placement. I purchased the 3 pack, I plan to get my Gregory a bigger tank come spring .. so I’ll need another thermometer and I have 2 more waiting to be used. If you’re patient, I’d highly recommend this... if you’re not and need instant results, you should probably purchase a floating thermometer or a different stick on one. Either way... good luck! And remember: blue is the accurate temp...

Perfect for my garter snake!
perfect for a lined snake my husband was trying to murder in our backyard. wifey (me) captured it and made it a prisoner pet. this thermometer insures the slithering creature doesn't freeze nor toast up. win win for the warden.

Easy to apply
I have it stuck to a 1 gallon glass jar. Easy to apply. Has been on for 2 months and several washes. Stick stinking on and is accurate

Does it's job.
Pictures show the visibility of the colors with vs without a light. I find this very easy to read and it sits inconspicuously on the side of my tank. I opted for this thermometer vs a floating one because I didn't want to use any space within the tank. Definitely easier to read with a light directly on it but who doesn't have a flashlight on their phone these days? Takes 2 seconds to check the temp and be done. Grateful for this so I can monitor the heater I got and make sure it's not cooking Swim Shady.

Decent stick on thermometer for fish tanks.
Used this on a 3 gallon fish bowl just to keep an eye on the temperature since I'm using a heater that can't be adjusted. Seems accurate and is easy to read.

I feel so much less anxiety and my Swedish is so much more active and happy!
I was gifted a Betta for Christmas. (He's red...and his name is Swedish 😀). He was so inactive. After a bit of research I realized that he was actually cold! I bought a small bowl heater but was still apprehensive about his water being TOO warm. I purchased this stick on thermometer. I works!! I feel so much less anxiety and my Swedish is so much more active and happy!
